A little postscript: As usual, we got caught up in the details of structure and technique. Just like other enthusiasts get caught up in overhead cams, G-forces, and horsepower. We touched on, but did not persue (perhaps that fear of intimately exposing ourselves, eh?) is the use of our sexuality as a transcendent, sometimes even spiritual experience. Where/when sex becomes “like the essence of prayer”. I have had the great good fortune to experience a few flashes (seconds?) of that possibility. I think that most of us who have experienced this higher level of sexuality can at least acknowledge the possibility of a sexual spirituality. What we don’t realize, but by logical extention should be eminently possible, is that transcendent sexuality can be a gateway, a doorway to an alternate reality beyond this ‘real’ world.
