OK.. if you don’t already know me, I have a journal and I consider myself to be a somewhat experienced mone user. I’m social, haven’t been going out a lot since school started. Now to the point. I actually don’t know where to find a prom date. It’s impossible for me to go with a girl at school, because well, it’s just the way things are. I might try to go with a cute girl that I’ve known for a while and is pretty nice.. but chances are that she will already have someone or something fucked up will pop up (I know my luck very well sadly :@ ). I’m even hesitating of asking her to be honest. I remember now hat her brother posted on facebook that he was looking for a prom date for her brother.. I don’t know if this was a joke or not though but that sure confused me. So this is my question for you guys/girls: Where else could I possible find a prom date? I’m trying to think of any place that has good amount of girls and with an environment that could allow me to approach, but no avail. I know that girls that know me very well and since time don’t have a very good image about me. Doesn’t matter the amount of mones I put on. If you could suggest me a mix that could also help with my quest, that would be GREAT 🙂 It’s either I find a prom date, or I’m not going at all. Thanks 🙂 ---

I want to prom with a girl I worked with. Maybe try that? Her not knowing anyone actually made it way more fun and made me look better when I introduced her to everyone. Double bonus, I took a cute girl that was from out of town(social proof 🙂 ), and I looked popular to her by introducing her around. ---

Well PJ, I no longer am allowed to pick up girls 16-17 and the 18 year old girls are too risky without 3 forms of ID, so I’m not sure what to tell you. However I recommend the mall as well. Same mix I mentioned, or at least keep it social. ---

I agree with Noble, just go meet girls at the mall. Or widen your social circle at school and try to go to more parties, maybe meet someone there im sure i dont need to tell you not to ask someone to prom as the first date, but just get social then the question will come further down the line ---

Easy 1 - Google local dance studios in your area. 2 - Call those studios and find out if they have any drop-in beginner salsa/swing/other ballroom/jazz (salsa is best, swing next, etc.) 3 - Show up, have fun, talk with the ladies whom you get partnered with 4 - If you dance with someone that you think you’d like, AT THE END OF CLASS, tell her you had a lot of fun dancing with her and ask her to join you for coffee (Not for her number, you need to create a stronger connection than a dance or two, moving from the dance hall to coffee will make you more memorable… not to mention give you enough time to create sufficient attraction to get a non-flakey number) The best part about beginner lessons - They make you a better dancer at the club. I get compliments all the time from the ladies on my dancing - being a confident dancer sets you apart. ---

Could never reach parties/sleepovers. Dances classes = HELL NO FOR THEM. They are from Middle east and I fully understand their mentality :S I asked jokingly the cute girl about being my prom date but she’s already going with a 26 years old guy from work :S I’ll see how the mall goes 😉..Be it for finding a prom date or just expanding my social network.. All the girls I’m attracted to or even semi-attracted to at school: 1. already have a boyfriend 2. very neutral to me 3. don’t even know me that well. ok let me try to brainstorm: - girls in my class - forget ANY of them. FOR SURE. - girls in the other classes - don’t talk to any of them and couldn’t think of any chance to go with one of them. I’m tellin you I dunn have many opportunities at school. a lot of people who goes to my school agrees to the same thing too. i think it’s the best to approach girls that don’t already know me. i know that ive seen more succcess and bonding from those who don’t know “the old creepy” me. first impression is really last impression. take girls at church for example.. I’m invisible to most of them. in fact some of them hate my ass lmao. and it’s not like i don’t try to make any approach. i do and they are sooooooooo full of themselves to the point where i’m like "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK IT " with a smile 🙂 all these people took a bad first impression about me because i was new to the country.. complete AFC.. almost ZERO confidence back then.. was always on my own shell.. just creepy in short.. i don’t blame them though. ---

neutral to you is not a bad thing. Push that into a positive and you got yourself a prom date. Don’t let anyones precieved opinion of you effect how you act. You know how the true you is and with a little work you can easily change what they think. ---

Yep, agree with Maidenfan. You don’t need to have a bond established before you approach. That’s what dating is for. Just approach. Show them that you are now a confident and valuable individual. The worst that can happen is that you’ll find out a girl who you assumed had no interest in you doesn’t have any interest in you. But you might also be surprised… ---

I just got some new moon boots and look good in red lipstick!!! I’ll be your date… I’ll even shave my legs and back 😮 I like the post by Noble when he told you to approach approach approach. I would like to add to that by saying approach approach approach and in all honesty talk to every girl in your school even the attached ones, because they just might have a cute friend from another planet that she could hook you up with. The mall is a good place. Do they have malls on the moon??? Or do you have to come to earth for those???🙄 ---

When you ask a girl out in an indirect way 9 times out of 10 you disqualify yourself in her mind. If a girl isn’t sure about you and you ask her out in a way that she can pretend you didn’t, most women will pretend that you didn’t and after you’ve done that it is extremely difficult to backtrack and tell her you really weren’t joking. ## Be straightforward when you ask an acquaintance/friend out on a date, it shows confidence and is in most situations the only method that will actually get you a real date (one that she considers a date and not just hanging out). Just tell your parents you are going to the mall, then head off to dance class - The great thing about dance class is that you wear the same clothes that you would wear to the mall and it leaves no evidence of your having gone. ---

I appreciate VERY much the advice you gave me… however.. where can I read about stuff like that? That’s all I need.. tips, hints and little things that could help step my game higher. I have the crash course and The Game (which I’m pretty sure talks about mystery method).. I also read tips in [becomeaplayer.com](http://becomeaplayer.com) .. I found those to be somewhat helpful.. I also know the seduction university forums and could certainly check it out on my free time. Any other good resource where I should be looking at? Thank you. ---
