Hey everyone, Im new to the whole pheromone thing and stumbled across this site last night. I then proceeded to spend several hours reading these forums! I’d like to give it a try but confused as to what would be the best 1st time buy for a gay guy? [Mystery Boy](https://a314.com/product/mystery-boy/) seems the obvious choice, however Ammo seems to be a good bet too, tho im worried as to how well Ammo works with gay men. Im looking into trying pheromones for 2 reasons, firstly to enhance my sexual attractiveness generally, when out in a club for example. Secondly to try and develop some sexual interest in me from a friend of mine (also gay) who claims to want nothing more than friendship. I realise that second motivation of mine is a long shot, but having tried (and failed) with almost every tactic in the book to make that friendship physical, I figure I might aswell give pheromones a try. Suggestions anyone? ---

If I were in your boat, I’d probably try Mystery Boy over Ammo. I’ve never used Mystery Boy, but it’s designed with your orientation in mind. You can also purchase most commercial products in to-go sizes which will save ya some coin and let you try out more products. Actually, you’d probably be better off with getting TUTH over ammo, and using tinier doses. I would also consider some [social pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/social-pheromones/) such as Instant Shine for happy, upbeat, giggly conversation. Instant Honesty to initiate deep conversation and possibly learn if he’s really looking to be friends. ---

According to tates instant shine works wonders with homosexuals. I would give that a try along with mystery boy. I dont know the affects of -none on attracting other men, but I am pretty sure it is different. ---

Oh do get Mystery Boy! If you read the archives from waaaaaay back, MHarris talks about all the research that went into the product. Mystery Boy seems to be based on the [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) Molecule TAA. And it was designed to give you a vibrantly healthy, friendly, youthful vibe. Plus it smells really really really nice–and expensive! Now you might have guessed by my avatar, I’m a girl. All original equipment and 98.9% straight (exceptions allowed for Nicole Kidman and Scarlett Johansson). I got Mystery Boy just for fun and experimentation. Thinking maybe it would match my more aggressive tomboy side. It didn’t really. It is clearly meant for men. Yet there’s an upbeat, outgoing/going out feeling to the product. I don’t wear it often, but I do know that spraying a bit on my chest where I can inhale it is a reliable way to get into a good mood fast. So get Mystery Boy! Hi all, Thanks for the replies, still a little unsure tho. Probably gonna give [Mystery Boy](https://a314.com/product/mystery-boy/) a try, although that strikes me as more of a friendly social kinda thing, and im looking for more of a sexual attraction product. With that in mind im tempted by Turn up the heat, is that wise for a beginner? Ive read on here its not ideal for new users, tho it seems to be the kinda thing im after. Any gay men have experience with using it? Also im wondering, has anyone here had success with turning a frienship into something more with the use of Phero’s? Whether by intention or accident has anyone found their friends behaving differently towards you with the use of Phero’s? ---

I didnt intentionally go out to attract her, but at the time I was kinda lacking in test subjects. She showed a hell of a lot of interest but given the fact I couldnt/wouldnt bring myself to game her, nothing came of it. Not to mention the fact I felt very guilty/underhanded, it coulda taken a turn for the worse if she came onto me and I had to reject her. Obviously, the pheros didnt brain wash her, she must of started off with a certain level of interest that was there to work with but I wasnt really into her and so I stopped using pheros around her. You should really give it some thought, do you really want to get into a relationship and then constantly worry that they only fell for you because of the [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/). I know it sounds contradictory to what I said above, but thats what almost made me stop using them altogether. Anyhow, hopefully I didnt bore you too much. Welcome to the forums Rattle ---

I’m not even in the target market for MB, but I just ordered a bottle to try it out. The fact that it costs about $50 but comes with a package of other useful pheromones valued at almost $80 helped inspire me to go for it. I think I recall seeing a M Harris post that the “safari mixes” are close to the commercial MB product. I’ve tried the safari mixes and they’re not bad. ---

Just to add my two cents 😉 I think **Mystery Boy** is an excellent package comparable to Ammo but for the gay milieu – the promo “sides” add up to a rockin’ deal for a pheroadventurer. (And you can use the P79 in the sack if you get there.) It could help with the aim of _“enhance my sexual attractiveness generally”._ But it is a cologne, so it’s less flexible and if you don’t like the scent you really cannot cover it. But I don’t see MB as the answer to your specific goal of kicking things up a notch with your “just friends” buddy. Based on some guesses, in order of importance, I’d acquire: 1. **[Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/)**, to draw your friend into your physical space. 2. **Androstadienone** , which is shown to arouse the brains of heterosexual women and homosexual men in similar ways, to signal “hey! attractive gay man here!” 3. **Androstenone** , (optional, experiment with right level) to signal masculine, raw physical “I want to top you now” lustful energy; less risky if held off until it’s already become physical. \*] **A314** , (optional, needs some serious experimenting to understand how it works / dynamics) to send the “Instant Class” message of DHV .. VIP .. elite (but be prepared to act the part with congruence or the result might backfire.)
