This was my first run and wanted to see what effect it would have on me alone so I can have something to gauge myself on in a social situation. Place- Home Climate- Cool Dose- 3 sprays: 1 to the Chest, 1 in the hair, and 1 split between the arm pits (I don’t sweat much so this spot seems to be a default for me) Mood- Neutral I got an instant change. More like a surge of what seemed like arrogance lol My posture changed. I immediately wanted do my hair, put on a hot outfit and go out and mingle. Also, I couldn’t help smiling. These are the very obvious effects I got. Since I’m new to this I’m sure I’ll discover more in depth changes as I go. For a first run I was surprised I had such a change. Can’t wait to see what this does in public 🙂 ---

Wow, that’s great, Zianaiz! It took me a little while before I got it to work for me (or maybe it worked, but I hadn’t learned yet how to discern “hits”). I’m thinking that you may be one of those people who are just “natural” with pheros, and can “learn” them with little effort. It took me like forever to finally “get” [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) (which is one of the easiest ones for many people starting out, but once it hit me, it hit me like a rock. And don’t feel bad, CoolKat, I didn’t know who it was either in that pic. But I have heard of Charlize Theron, and knew she was a blond. I’m just not always good at linking celebrity names and faces, I really do need to watch more TV, etc., I know, lol. ---

Sillykitty, how did you make Shine work for yourself? You say it took you a while, did you experiment w/dosages, scents, application points? Thanks. 🙂 ---

Thanks. 🙂 I think I wasn’t using enough. I now purchase it in 4x strength, using anywhere between 1-3 sprays, as needed. [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) is also one of those products that its very hard to OD on, so you can go for it. This is not the case with all phero products - in many cases, less is more, if that makes sense. ---

Good to know about the OD wth instant shine Sillykitty. I forget who it was and where I saw it but someone mentioned shine having a really strong smell. I have it in neroli and it really does smell very strong. My favorite perfume is Hypnotic Poison by Dior if that gives you any clue as to my preferences. I really don’t like neroli… kinda reminds me of CK1 but… less clean? I wouldn’t say dirty. Anyway, I want to get my next batch of shine in a different fragrance and higher strength. Any idea what might go well with Hypnotic Poison? ---

I’m not sure what Hypnotic Poison smells like, but I’ve always liked Dior perfumes. You can get IS in other fragrances, such as chocolatini, grapefruit, cookie, coconut vanilla and I think [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/), which is a mens fragrance but one that I would wear (and have worn, in A314). To me, Akuto has kind of an incense-y slightly powdery smell and I think its just beautiful. However, getting any of the Instant products in anything other than neroli is an extra charge, $15 I think. You’ll have to look in the dropdown menu in the shopping cart to see the choices, they may have changed with all the changes lately. Also, I find that getting certain things in 4x is actually cheaper in the long run. Plus, for a 4-spray dosage, you only get one dose of neroli, whereas if you gave yourself 4 sprays of single strength, you’d also get stuck with quadruple neroli. I used to not like neroli as much, but its kind of grown on me. ---

Is it very strong? Like many fragrances when you first spray them on, it might be a little strong briefly until it settles. On me anyway, it settles really nicely. Maybe just try ordering a to-go of something that you don’t have to pay extra for fragrance options. Get a to-go of alpha-androstenol in [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) (the ingredient in many phero mixes that gives them that “up” vibe), you can use it on its own, and get effects from it. Or maybe a to-go of TAH, which is also nice on its own or mixed. TAH is softly feminine, and makes me feel subdued and mellow, kind of like “aaaaahhhh”. Or some p86, which is a “beautifier”, or p74, another “up” phero. For other ideas on how you can use simple experimones and putatives, check out Tisha’s recipe thread, in the Womens Journals section. We are so not limited to the Instant Sexiness’s, lol. Not with a little imagination and creativity. That way you can try fragrances without spending too much, and without being wasteful, because you’re getting something you can use.
