Hi there,I’m new to the forum and Androtics - though have already purchased IS and IH in their lowest strengths - (the speed with which these shipped from the US to the UK is amazing by the way). I’m gay and therefore looking to use pheromones to further general and sexual attraction in this area and also in respects of a specific individual I have my eye on - as well as for their social benefits. I’ve read through some of the great info forum members have been kind enough to share - it’s really useful and detailed – for the newbie of course a lot to take in ! I’ve read up some of the discussion on the basic types of molecules,formulations and what they do,the concept of buffering and some of the individual molecules. From what I’ve read so far it seems that the social formulations,IS,IH,IO etc are going to be generally useful with facilitating interactions and general attraction. I can already vouch for the power of IH even in its lowest strength - on a recent works night out my superiors were very talkative - and rather concerned the next day that they had told me too much - I had to give a lot of reassurance re my discretion - and the guy i am currently interested in was also very forthcoming indeed about himself – I hate to think what effect IH would have in higher strengths ! I did not notice much effect from IS but i imagine this serves more to polish the effect of other molecules. I notice that the main molecule for 173 ,IS and Ammo ( and I assume its variants MB & Summer Ammo) is TAA - which its self is said to raise male self esteem - is there any benefit to using TAA alone and would it weaken something such as Summer Ammo? I’ve also noticed that people have recommended beefing these up with say P75 and perhaps also TUTH;some forum members rightly observe that overt sexual signals can be less problematic in gay than heterosexual situations,the only exception to this I think is when dealing with closeted males. Any way there are some variables in gay attraction which may affect pheromone use as I see it - 1)There is a pole of attraction between alpha or apparently alpha masculinity on the one hand and beta masculinity or as an alternative effeminacy on the other. I’ve rarely seen alpha and alpha go together perhaps because the competitiveness between the two would be too great? 1. Where I have seen alpha and more overtly feminine together I’ve also noted a very obvious and sometimes hyper sexuality in the more feminine of the two. Where do pheromones fit in to this? If you were alpha and wanted to attract beta or more feminine males would MB be the best bet? Should more beta males try and beef up their image with more masculinising pheromones or use those more appropriate for women such as copulins etc? I have tried EOW by the way and found a) it sometimes produced an over the top friendly response in heterosexual male strangers and b) a negative response in those I knew and who already had some attraction for me. I would guess that using specifically female products could be confusing and counterproductive - if a guy i’m interested in really wants a woman perhaps a woman is what he better have for there is no way I can compete with a woman as a woman ! Myself I’m quite friendly and sociable if also somewhat cerebral at times, I think i already have something of the vibe IG gives so would using IG be useful to intensify this or would it rev up too much a quality already there? I’ve found in the past that i have often attracted quite closeted guys and this is partly because my presence is definitely not that overtly sexual and therefore non threatening but this also means I can very easily be friend zoned.The guy I’m interested in at work has a cross between and alpha and bad boy vibe - getting into fights with bar staff etc. Though attracted to this man almost instantly I initially assumed he was straight as he does always loudly say that he is - though has not been in a relationship for several years.However his constant flirting and touching me,his being very hot and over friendly and then cold and my discovery that his favourite book is a novel with a distinctly gay theme now makes me think otherwise.Presumably the [social pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/social-pheromones/) would amplify the attraction which is apparently there but what would be the best way to steer towards a more sexual attraction and getting a date so as to see if this could be taken further should he so wish? Hello, and welcome to Pherotalk! GREAT question, and I am actually going through something now that may help you answer. It’s all about congruence. Do you MAKE yourself (making it look natural, of course) look AND feel as if you BELONG to what the pheromones address? Do you look AND feel as if you BELONG to the “type” of person your target would go after? My target is a 24 year old white girl. We work together (VERY closely together – both co-teachers in the same classroom the entire school day). She’s a TAD immature, and looking at her ex (and other guys she seems to go for), she likes beta males. I’m an alpha male. I thought A314 would lure her in, as I would be displaying HSV, BUT instead, it just INTIMIDATED her! Now, I came to the conclusion that I just don’t want to make myself beta just to comfort her, but if you are wanting to feel more alpha and more open, I’d explore upping the amount of IH you use with, perhaps, some IShine and maybe [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/) or a -nol ? If you want to appear more alpha, A314 does the trick. Put too much, and you can become so high status (and even a bit cocky to the more meek of people), and though it’ll wreak of alpha, some people are turned off (lots of people, like my target, prefer the 9-5 “gettable” guy. They, in turn, aren’t worth targeting). My advice to stay out of the friend zone? It’s all about attitude. As soon as someone sees you as “just a friend,” you have EVERY right to not want to be that, and walk away out of their life. “Sounds cliche, but I’m not looking for a friend right now” and just dip. Thank you for your helpful response and [pheromone](https://a314.com/shop/) suggestions,Lakerman 34. Whilst I would not describe myself as alpha,I do believe a little more of this quality would be very useful for me and might just help avoid the friend-zoning I too often experience. From what you say an alpha would not necessarily be put off by alpha qualities in another person,a useful insight. I suppose that using pheronomes can enhance and to some extent enable you to chose who you want to be within limits. And so I will only limit my take to this: The best way to correctly choose what pheromone to use on specific scenarios, is by understanding the YOU. That way, it is easier for you to be congruent with the mones, and you will never cheat yourself and assume a personality that is not yours in the first place (just like what lakerman stated above). Thank you!_ Thankyou Dee for the discount certificate,it’s in my inbox,and the.advice.Yes I think that you and lakerman are right,it is far better to amplify the qualities you have than try to be something you are not;I’m never going to be masterful and domineering but I can certainly beef up some things ! With this in mind I’m proposing to try out the following:- 1)More IH-it’s already proved to be effective and it will considerably enhance the good listening skills I already have. 2)The socials IO,TAA( will try this first to see the differential effects of ammo,summer ammo and MB)P74 and perhaps [MX297](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/mx297/) - I tend to hold very good parties why not make them better?! 3)Will beef these socials up with,IG - accentuates qualities I already have, and P75 which may give a more masculine edge without being overly aggressive. 4)I was thinking of adding in a hint of TUTH but reading some of the posts I’m thinking P96 might be a much better option to steer a little away from the ‘ust friends’ vibe.I’m also thinking that P103 might help with this but will do more reading. Welcome Placidus, I don’t have much experience to offer as I don’t have any with gay men. I just wanted to add to check out all the stickies in this section especially about app points and diffusiaon as this is very important to make the mones work right for you. Also check out some of the journals as lately there seems to be more gay men joining which I think is awesome and really helps build great products with testing and support.
