# Gay Test

I was thinking of using [pheromones](https://a314.com/) as an accurate way to discover whether someone is gay or straight or bi, just by judging their reactions to pheromones placed under the nose or something.

Would this work?

Also, where is a good place online to get pheromones for Australia? And what is the best brand?

The science shows that straight women and gay men both respond positively to Androstadienone. The lore here is that Androstadienone tends to make straight men a bit depressed, but I can’t vouch for that.

So there is a [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) that can be used to sort folks.

But unless you have brain-scan apparatus, you may not be able to accurately ~see~ an individual’s reaction. We put conscious filters on our behavior, and our sophistication in social situations varies.

I’ve found that people who are disinhibited (a.k.a. ‘drunk’) are more likely to let their response to pheros slide through their social filters.
