I began to think about DIHL’s and what causes them. To break down the phrase, it would mean to get shocked instinctual reaction to freeze and lock gaze upon an unexpected stimuli.

Many people have used the phrase DIHL to indicate the success of a mix. In order for this to happen and be the direct effect of the [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) the DIHL’ey would have to be exposed to the pheromone signiture for a long enough time to be effected. I’ll give the effect time the benifit of the doubt and say that this can happen in about 3 seconds, although their is much evidance supporting a 5 minute time frame.

So you walk into a room, store, coffee shop, and you get a DIHL from the girl at the counter instantly at a range of 10 feet. It would seem that this effect is either because, A. You recieved the DIHL by yourself; B. The wind upon opening the door blew an extremely dissipated flow of diffused pheromones directly at her which stun her the instant the draft reaches her. The later theory seems a little far fetched.

A better thought for DIHL, or explenation might be a confrentational DIHL. You are previously ignored, or treated as normal, then upon confronting you get a shocked reaction or unusual responces (stuttering, excessive smiling and glances, loss of words, excessive eye contact.)

From the reports i’ve read, I see many of the DIHL’s being the first (a) scenario. Intant reaction… This still could be a reaction from the use of pheromones and thier effect on the wearer. Say you are using A314 and Instant shine. You walk in with amazing posture and a big smile, then yes it could be related. My biggest issue with that is all the pheromone has done to get this reaction is to make you stand up straight and smile. Anybody can stand up and smile without pheromones and I feel their effectiveness should be measured on things that a person could not have normaly achieved without their use.

To the pheromone reporters. What is you definition of a pheromone related DIHL, and how you feel the pheromones accomplished this where you normaly wouldn’t have been able?

Very interested to see this unfold. I think it could create more accurate reports in regards to DIHL’s.

Just some days ago I hadn’t been using pheromones and I saw a DIHL. It was strange but fun to see! I forgot exactly where it happened but I recall noticing it.

I got my first DIHL (as far as I know) from a girl (guessing under 20 y/o) at a take out counter at local Chinese place. I was there a good 10 minutes or more waiting for my order, and she wandered by a few times and usually stood behind counter about 5-6 feet away. I would say it took at least those 10 minutes to register at least physically. She just started standing there nearby (I was dealing with another person, she was just the “go back to get it girl”) with a “glazed over” expression listening to our conversation. I don’t think it happened suddenly, but manifested itself over a period of time. It took me until I was out of the place and driving home to realize what had probably happened.

I was using Alter Ego at the time, don’t recall dosage, but probably a couple of drops.

i know this isn’t a direct reply to your post, but I think the whole DIHL thing is a bit overrated. i get them every now and then still, and it’s usually when I’m wearing a good amount of androstenone. it’s overrated because the girl will just be frozen and almost in a hypnotic state. she’s going to be speechless, literally, and you start talking to her and she just stares, jaw open. sure, it’s nice for an ego boost, but i honestly haven’t been able to take advantage of these situations it seems counterproductive. they seem like they’re thrown into a “la la land” state, and they don’t really snap out of it easily.

last time it happened was a week ago, I was wearing 2 sprays of Ammunition to the chest. the girl was maybe 6 feet away, and when I walked up, she was talking to a (guy) friend of mine. when i greeted them, she turned and just stared at me, and couldn’t even bring herself to say hello. just 😮

i’ve never had it happen at a nightclub, so i wouldn’t know. but during the day time, as far as i know, it’s been a little counterproductive. i’d rather be giving off a more subtle sexual vibe than something that strong.

Sometimes a perceived DIHL is merely a brain fart. Folks have 'em all the time due to lack of sleep, a bad case of nerves, shock, boredom or drugs. Back in the day we called it spacing out.

I personally think it’s third option C, which is that wearing the pheromone causes you to act differently. I have noticed that when wearing pheromones, particularly certain ones, I stand taller, hold my head more confidently, and use more eye contact. Perhaps in some cases this is sufficient to cause a DIHL.

I made that happen with roughly 120 mcg of androstenol. hehe, but a brain fart is a good explenation.

This is what I think is the most influential part of DIHL’s

Rbt,

My first DIHL ever was also whilst using 2-3 drops of Alter Ego. Maybe a bit of SOE too; but definitely was wearing AE and it was an unmistakeable DIHL - a good 10-15 second stare-down.

For me its more about how best to react to someone in the midst of their shock and awe!

Just had a super-DIHL. Don’t know what to call it.
This woman just stopped as I approached. She got confused, didn’t know which way to go. It was as if I was some super-star and she just got shocked.
I was wearing 4 sprays TAF just for extra concentration 🙂

Most of the suspected DIHLs I’ve experienced were little kids and toddlers in elevators. Some of the DIHL reactions were so prolonged the mothers were embarrassed and attempted to break the kid’s glaze. Unlike adults, toddlers snap out of it and usually smile, continuing to stare at me. Often they vocalize and try to touch me, making their mothers even more uncomfortable. Many of them apologize and express puzzlement. As they scurry off the kid is still waving and smiling. If only pheromones worked as well on the mother…

Kids and pets have never really given me more stunned reactions than adult humans (both male and female) but generally they do on occassion; as with adults.

But then even -[pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) less I still get kids starting as most folks do.

I do think though that -Androstenol is the DIHL king; or exact dosage -none (an exact dose I’ve never knowingly hit).

id be really skeptical of any effect in under 30 seconds in close proximity. not only would the molecules have to reach the vno, but enough would have to reach it to signal any responce at all, let alone enough to cause a dihl state.

I could see getting imidiate DIHL’s if you are wearing realy high doses of anrostenol. Say you put on 2+ sprays of spaceland. The concentration of your pheromone cloud diffusing off of you would be insane. 1 sniff and you’d recieve 5x or more than that of a normal concentration.

There are … moths? butterflies? … that can pick up a pheromone trail from over a mile away, so don’t sell the “rapid response” model short.

Just because YOU start counting to ten seconds at a certain point does not mean that physics hasn’t been operating all along. What I mean is this: you’re at a bar, talking, moving around your seat for, say, twenty minutes. Your phero-trail has dispersed through a good part of the room in that time, but the concentration is still highest closest to you.

So this girl walks in, and you start counting ten seconds. But the pheros were there when she walked in – from the fresh air outside – and she notices an UNUSUAL level of something … something sexy … and her conscious mind is trying to figure out what and why … but her unconscious is trying to decide HOW (how to respond to the phero-message, despite her conditioning) … and so it looks like she is DIHL when actually, she’s just diverted all of her available processing power to decide how to react in this novel situation.

Because when you see her tomorrow, you’re not getting DIHL. Your phero-stuff is old news tomorrow. She’ll have a little program, a subroutine, to run if you turn up with that big phero-signature again.

Here is my unscientific thought:

Pheromones may cause a near immediate “physical” response, BUT the signs don’t manifest themselves until they have worked through a person’s brain.

An older individual (adult) may have aquired far more “filtering” for that initial physical reaction to work through before it gets expressed (if it gets expressed at all and not blocked by the “filters”). A young child/toddler/etc who lacks those “filters” (pehaps gained by physical maturation, experience, or a combination of ingredients) will react almost as fast as the physical effect of the pheromone occurs on the body.

My thought.
