I remember a post by Xiphoid on this subject, Mickaelia. It’s been around for a while, so you’re not the first to notice. The difference is in our motivations, why we came here in the first place, and I’ve quoted from my reply to her in that thread.

More sex is a powerful motivation for men. Couple that with the problem-solving, rational, engineer-like mentality that many men have, trying to come up with the perfect sex potion, and you’ve got a potent combination.

> One thing I’ve noticed from reading these forums is that most women who come here are already in established relationships and are looking for a way to enhance them a little. Once they’ve done that, it’s job done.

> Men who come here are mostly on the hunt. Typically, we’re not looking to enhance an existing relationship; we’re here to add more weapons to our arsenals, swap tips and strategies on the dating and mating game, as well as exchanging details of pheromone mixes that work and troubleshoot the ones that don’t.
