I recently tried sean john unforgivable and was astounded. WHen you think sean john you probably think “ghetto” or something along those lines. Rest assured, it is a smooth masculine smell and I have recieved comments from many people male and female

Sean John’s cologne is great smelling, but I’ve heard that it’s a rip-off of Creed’s Millesime Imperiale.
Though I’ve yet to smell Millesime Imperiale, it wouldn’t surprise me any…he’s stolen other people’s music, so why not steal other people’s fragrance as well?

To me it was closer to Creed’s Green Irish Tweed and Davidoff’s Cool Water although more refined than the latter!

I was thinking of picking up some Green Irish Tweed but my LTR hates Unforgivable hmmm.😃
The House of Creed looks great though!

Nbully could you recommend a good quality Cologne?.Something spicy and masculine.😉 Himalaya (also by Creed) looks good.

unforgivable has nothing to do with tweed or coolwater? Just get a creed and wear it outside the house, and have your ltr pick out a scent for you. If you want quality/cheap get terre d’hermes for day’s and try out rochas lui for eve’s… to many to list, ?

Flaming, before you invest in GIT try to get some samples or decants of a variety of Creeds. I’m trying some out and finding that some of the more offbeat ones like Ambre Cannelle and Cypres Musc are even more awesome than the ones like Bois Du Portugal and GIT that you hear so much about. Even Fleur de The Rose Bulgare which is originally a femm frag is unisex enough that I would wear it around an LTR for romance. They seem highly dependent on the wearers chemistry though so try before you buy. Himalaya is a winner too.

Hey flaming, I don’t know too much about fragrances. Look for posts by Tacitus. Spicy and masculine…hmm…I remember Tacitus mentioning Lorenzo Villoresi’s Spezie as the best spice fragrance. I myself like Gucci Envy 😛 …the drydown, amazing!🙂

I second the Gucci Envy, here is an updated post I posted in Tater’s Journal not too long ago:

My personal faves:

Acqua Di Gio (My #1 Keeper), Alternative is Perry Ellis 360 Red if you don’t want to get Di Gio, you save some money too.

Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male (Fresh and reminds me of a spicy sea morning and lately been my go to cologne for the last couple of months)

Platinum Egoiste by Chanel (If you don’t have it, get it..lol)

Polo Sport (Fresh and finishes clean but I make sure not to overdue it)

Chrome by Azzaro (Clean, fresh, and long lasting just like Polo Sport).

Armani Mania (Clean smell and refreshing to me)

Armani Code/Black Code (I like it because of how smooth it flows when i smell it)

Dolce & Gabbana (enough said 😉)

Be Delicious (Great scent running fresh notes of apple and balanced with some underlying woods.. it is also backed by Megatron who took over the world in the thread he made using this cologne with his mixes well..lol)

Sexual by Michel Germain (Similar to the D&G but more added notes of incense)

Fahrenheit by Dior (Spicy Wood for those who love it)

CK’s Eternity for Men

Claiborne Sport by Liz Claiborne

Tommy by Tommy Hilfiger

Black Jeans by Versace

Nautica Competition (Cheap, crisp and clean scent IMHO)

Dreamer by Versace

Ferrari Black (A steal for it’s price, some say it smells like Dunhill Desire Red bottle)

I hope this brings you to some specific choices. 😃

Spicy and Masculine, good quality? You might try Allure by Chanel flaming. It’s like a young man’s version of Obsession (Doesn’t cling to you and the WORLD, not nearly as loud, soft even, masculine, manly, doesn’t remind you of your father, and sexy) with a delicious note that I can’t place that runs all throughout.

My girl loves this on me, even though I was 10sec from throwing the sample away because it reminded me of Obsession at first, but this is surprisingly good. What Obsession wants to be.

I also saw Black Jeans by Versace mentioned, you might want to try Blue Jeans by the same designer depending upon the crowd you want to influence (Blue Jeans is for 20 somethings, but hey, if it smells good on you, that’s what counts)

I second the mention of Dolce and Gabanna and Armani Code as good spicy affordable frags too, and I’ll even add Polo Double Black to the mix. Surprisingly good.

If you want to sample scents, and you don’t want to go back and forth to the mall to see how a frag wears on your skin, I suggest ordering small sample vials online ($1-$12) as an inexpensive way to test items.

I use [fragrancenet.net](http://fragrancenet.net) and perfume country. There are other’s too though.

I agree on the Blue Jeans on Versace, any of their “jeans” cologne is quite good once you find which one suits you. 😃

Thanks nbully and everyone else. You guys are amazing!
Well i went to a little perfume shop with my LTR (she gets her “Roma” there).I asked the sales women about a few of the colognes mentioned here but she kept showing me others.Actually she was really bitchy and eventually sprayed me with some total SHIT without even asking me…😠

I found out about a much bigger shop so ill trot over there with my list on the weekend.🙂

You know, over here I haven’t managed to find either Villoresi or Creed stuff. Nothing. So they are probably stuff which isn’t too mass market perhaps. Try a larger shop who knows..

there’re many people online who sell decant bottles of cologne for about 6-10 dollars per bottle. you should try finding those first and see which cologne you like best. i actually base my collection off of decants because i like to have a variety. i currently really like to wear bulvari aqua, be delicious, creed himalaya, and A\*men

For me it’s probably the only way to try this creed! Cause no physical shop seems to sell it here..

For samples, I just discovered a new place last night. [Discount Men’s & Women’s Angel Perfumes, Christian Dior, Dolce Gabbana, Victoria Secret, Calvin Klein Perfumes, Colognes & Fragrances For Men & Women](http://www.perfumebay.com) They have some Creed samples (I ordered Green Irish Tweed to see what all the fuss is about), and some other’s.
