This is a 17-year-old male from southern Louisiana. I actually Stumbled on Androtics through the Firefox application but it caught my eye so I decided to look at some posts and maybe place an order. As I considered this, I got other ideas as well. Of course, I would use the [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) in a social setting and for fun, but I’ve also always been interested in chemistry and biochemistry for a long time and plan to major in the field. So, what could be better than doing captivating, not entirely charted research while at the same time meeting friends, having a good time, and possibly getting laid. I’ll admit, this isn’t the most formal or strict adherence to the scientific method, but hey, I’m 17, I’ve got other, more formal research projects going on already, and this could be pretty interesting. Looking forward to posting my results! 🆒 ---

Hi Vespero, Some of history’s greatest scientists experimented on themselves. At your age I’d be careful with the products that contain Androstenone as your body is probably creating more then enough of it naturally. However products like Instant Shine, [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/), and Instant Honesty would be fine and do seem to have a positive impact on the ladies. Although I haven’t tried it myself yet Instant gentleman gets good reviews and might help you with girls your age who like guys with a mature vibe. Hi Vespero, welcome to the forum 🙂 good to see that you are interested in both the effects and science of pheromones. looking forward to see you in the men’s section hehe. for you social situations, I’d also suggest you look into IO and Instant shine as two highly recommanded social products, you can’t go wrong with those. IO is a communication pheromone, use it as an ice breaker with the ladies, and instant shine is used as a mood lifter, great to make people around you feel happy and confident. if you have any more questions don’t hesitate to ask 🙂 ---

I’m not actually sure where to start. I was going to buy a few To-Go bottles and experiment with that. Maybe [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/), Instant Honesty, or Instant Shine, and Turn up the Heat, though I know to be careful with the androstenone products, and it would be something I use sparingly. I’d like to look at the effects of each individually for a day or two before starting to mix and after I see what is working best, buy larger bottles of those. Of course, I would still experiment with others, but at least I would have a base to return to when other mixes don’t work out. ---

This sounds like a good plan. In the long run you might end up being happier swapping Ammo for the Turn Up The Heat. But Turn Up The Heat will probably be more useful to you from a research standpoint. Just remember that at your age one spray of TUTH might result in instant OD. Whatever you do don’t neglect the socials especially [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) (IMO 2x is better). Good luck and let us know how it goes. ---

Why the preference of [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) over Turn up the Heat? I suppose the best way to find out is to search and read. ---

It’s because while both products contain 2.5mcg per spray of Androstenone, Ammo is buffered with additional [social pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/social-pheromones/). This makes it far more difficult to OD and a more manageable product. Turn Up The Heat on the other hand is just 2.5mcg per spray of straight -none. ---

I placed my order, Instant Openness To-Go, [Instant Female Magic](https://a314.com/product/instant-female-magic/) To-Go, and Turn Up the Heat To-Go. I suppose I’ll have to move up to the full sizes for more variety as there aren’t that many To-Gos available. Being a little strapped for cash, I was very glad to have the gift certificate, Sunday Special reward points, and DHL Overnight Shipping special. My $40 order was cut to a nice $19.80. Next time, I’ll try not to be so broke.
