I’m not even entirely sure how I stumbled across this page but it definitely sparked some interest in me. I was surprised to see such a large community devoted to [pheromones](https://a314.com/), especially because I’ve always thought that humans had lost the sense that pheromones interact with. I’ve read a few posts but nothing much. I haven’t really explored the site enough, so I’m going to go around and see what i can learn. If you have any suggestions of what i should read to get a perspective of this realm I’d appreciate it much. Thanks! Justin ---

Hi Justin, welcome to the forum! This is a great community, very friendly and always alot of fun people to chat to. You’ll have a lot of fun learning about phero’s! 🙂 It’s a really good idea to have a good browse of the forum and read as many reports of phero’s as you can so you get a rough idea about the various phero’s, what they do and whih ones you might want to try. A good place to start is always the sticky threads in both the men’s and women’s sections…they contain alot of great info about the basics. Would you mind telling us a bit about yourself? How would you describe your personality? Outgoing, a bit on the shy side, in between? Don’t worry, we aren’t just being nosey…..knowing a bit more about you will help point us in the right direction when recommending phero’s for you to try. What are you hoping to get out of using phero’s? Do you want to use them for mainly for general social situations, dating, improving things at home, work/studies etc? ---

Let’s see here. Considering how the idea of pheromones even working on people has just awakened in me, I don’t really have a specific purpose in mind. I’m a very laid back, easy going person. I’m very open and not really shy. I’m the “think before you talk” type, which can make me seem quiet at times. I’m in shape and have found out through experience that it turns out i’m an attractive person. I guess what comes to mind is that I’ve noticed that i seem to rub some people the wrong way on first impressions sometimes. I often have an unkempt appearance. I shave once a month (i’m 22 and don’t have that much facial hair anyway) and i have very shaggy hair that i never even think about, let alone comb… but yes i DO shower regularly and keep clean. I’m just not very into the “make yourself look prettier than nature intended” idea that most of the world has in their minds. If I were to use pheromones I would see myself using them in a manner that would perhaps aid in getting past those predispositions. I guess I’d be interested in seeing what effects pheromones might have on general situations. As anyone would, I like to be liked. If i can give myself a boost in that direction why wouldn’t I? I have a girlfriend and in all honesty everything’s pretty awesome. I don’t have anything specific in mind that I’d hope a pheromone could help, but i wonder what options in general there would be for enhancing the relationship. Sexual, Intellectual, Spiritual. Any aspect has my interest. ---

Hello Justin Welcome to Pherotalk 🙂 People have not lost the ability to communicate pheromonally. We are born with it. Its part of how you bonded with your parents at birth. Humans just rely more on other forms of communication and senses then other mammals because we are more advanced. Natural Pheromones do effect the subconscious mind subtly but humans tend to ignore it. Think of using synthetic mones as yelling the signal instead of whispering it. It grabs their attention instead of sending that easy to ignore signal we naturally send. Still subtle but much more attention grabbing. We are also more hygienic then other mammals who communicate pheromonally so we wash away most of our natural mones creating a weaker signal. I suggest you start with the basics. Ishine IO and AMMO. These will give you a good feel for what mones can do and they come in to-go size so you can check them out at a low cost.
