Very happy to have found this forum. I read a number of posts before joining and am impressed by the intelligence of the members and the depth of thought that goes into posts.

About ten years ago I bought a bottle of Realm. I was skeptical about it, but was pleasantly surprised that women I didn’t know would routinely tell me how much they liked the scent.

I was thinking about it the other day and decided to see if it was still available, which is how I ended up here.

I noticed that some pheromone users report changes in mood similar to what I experience from using medications prescribed for adult ADD/ADHD. I know a lot of people think the whole ADD thing is a load of BS, but believe me, its real.

Unmedicated I will follow any tangent and dive down any rabbit hole that presents itself. After starting the ADD meds I accomplished more in a month than I had in the previous year.

This has me wondering if the root of this disorder is hormonal and not neurochemical, or more accurately, in the influence (or its absence) of one’s own naturally produced [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) on neurochemestry.

Has anyone here been down this road?

Hi and welcome!

Unfortunately that subject is outside of my realm of expertise.

However, if you would share a bit about more your personality, how you relate to others, and the things you would like to achieve using pheromones, I can advise you as to which would be more appropriate and effective for your particular needs 🙂

Thanks, Kitty.

Unmedicated I am introverted, but not shy (there’s a difference). I can’t concentrate for very long, which is frustrating when I have a job to do. I would like to replicate the effects of my prescription, which are increased alertness and ability to concentrate. It also makes me much more outgoing and friendly (or as my ex calls it ‘annoying’)🙄

I really appreciate your advice.

As SillyKitty said, Im not much an expert in this field either. Though, I do have multiple different Anxiety Disorders of which I take meds for. :Ð I’ve also noticed that when using certain products (such as IJ) it takes away my anxiety completely.. So hmm, that’s a cool theory you have there.

It seems maybe you liked Realm, yes? What are the effects that you want? If you need socials, I’d highly recommend IO, just from my experiences, anyway.

Nice to meet you, welcome to the forums, and I hope to see you here often. 😉

I’m not sure that pheromones will increase your alertness and ability to concentrate, but they can definitely help with confidence and such.

How do you relate and interact with people in general? How are you perceived? How would you like to be perceived? What would you like to improve regarding the way you interact?

Coyote, have a read of [The Mens Guide](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/mens-pheromone-guide-revised-6-15/12168)and let us know if any of that sounds interesting to you.

In general, my interactions with people are cordial. I develop rapport fairly well, which is important in my job where I need to be perceived as an expert. People open up to me easily and tend to tell me their secrets.

Women have often told me I have a calming effect on them, especially those over thirty. This is nice, but at the extreme end I feel this trait sometimes makes me invisible. Is it possible to be too nonthreatening?

I think what I am after, as far a change in how I am perceived, is a more commanding presence, which I had in my early 20s, but at age 40 seems diminished. Sure would help with public speaking…and karaoke! 🙂

ISHINE works great for that.

I was singing along to all the songs on the radio, and had no trouble getting up in karaoke. Confidence in a bottle - you just need to want it 🙂

Welcome to the forums!
