Warning: This is really long!

There is this guy I met while taking salsa dance lessons who I like. We have been steadily developing a rapport, but tonight I am totally perplexed by his behavior.

Let me start from the beginning. I’ve worn pheros around him before in dance class, primarily IS/A, IS/B, and MX274. I noticed when I wore IS/A, he seemed to apologize to me a lot if we messed up a dance step, and a little less sure. When I wore IS/B around him, he seemed totally sure of himself and much more dominant. MX274, I really didn’t see much of a response from him.

In November, one day I arrived late to the Latin dance social wearing MX340, which is based off of [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/) 4x. Here is the account: “Another guy I’ve had my eye on, a blond cutie who’s a bit young for me, but I’d definitely hang out with him, came over to talk to me. This was unusual, because even though we’ve danced together before in salsa class, we’ve never danced together at an actual social. In fact, I thought he didn’t like me or something. And truthfully, I love dancing with him because he is such a smooth leader. I call him the Salsa King, because he’s always dancing and always in control. Anyway, he came over to me as the salsa dancing was ending. He wanted to say hi and good-bye. We chatted for a good bit, but the tone of the chat was like I was talking to my best friend. There was a great rapport between us. I would surmise this is because MX340 is based off of Instant Honest 4X. I asked him about his health (he wasn’t feeling good the last time I saw him) and various other things. He’s never been this into me before, so his openness and increased trust surprised me. I joked with him asking when I’ll get a salsa with him, and he replied he tried to make his way over to me, but every time he did, I was taken.”

It was so out of the blue for him to just come up and start talking to me, so I guess he must have caught a whiff of the MX340 while I was dancing and wanted to check me out before he left.

Another Sunday, he finally asked me to dance. It was awesome. I regret that I don’t remember what phero I wore.

Last Sunday, I danced with him twice while wearing Come Talk To Me and seven drops of copulins. I wanted to mimick Lust After Me, which is no longer available. I know LAM had mostly a-nol, but I wanted to copulins with the combination of a- and b-nol found in CTTM. Well, with Pink Sugar, the results were stellar. Not just with him, but with other guys. It seemed as if they just wanted to hold conversations with me rather than dance while on the floor. With my TG, he was very talkative and very focused on me. In fact he told me that he loved the fact that I smelled like baked goods. This made me chuckle. He said I had a “warm” scent that he was sure every man I danced with found “enticing” (including him, I hope!). After we finished dancing he commented that he wished the song had been longer (we started mid-song).

Fast foward to today, I helped set up for a New Year’s Eve dance. He, of course was there. I had on Instant Shine 1x and some Pink Sugar on top. He arrived later than me and did not acknowledge me until some time later. He saw me and said hi. I have to add, I looked a right mess: ratty jeans, a sweater, and a hat to cover up my disheveled hair. We chatted a for a minute or so. I asked him if he was excited about the party, and he indicated that he was. When my time was up for helping at the set-up, I kind of slipped out quietly. However, as I was leaving, he shouted and waved “good-bye” to me. I waved good-bye wondering if he thought I wasn’t going to return for the party later. I don’t know if he noticed I was gone and followed me out or if was just a coincidence.

So New Year’s Eve, I was all jazzed about the party and hopefully getting a dance in with my TG. And I made sure my appearance was on point. I also wore a mix I concocted a couple of months before:

7 of IS/A
7 of MX335
2.5 of [Spaceland](https://a314.com/)
2 of Instant Shine
3 of [TAF](https://a314.com/)
All these sprays are combined in separate spray bottle.) I wore this for a Halloween party, and got some over-the-top results from it. However, I noticed that tonight and that night at the Halloween party, my TG stayed clear of me. I have to add that I also wore 6 drops of Essence of Woman (EOW). It was all covered with Pink Sugar. I mean, I did at least talk to my TG, but he did not approach me to dance at all. In fact, I think he left the party around 11 p.m. But other men seemed to respond to me just fine that evening. Not as much as at the Halloween party, but enough. That’s what perplexes me. I wonder if the TAL in IS/A turned him off, because he responded so well to the social pheros I’ve worn around him. I single out the IS/A, because I remembered that he seemed to act nervous when I wore it but very self-assured when I wore IS/B. So maybe he’s a TAH kind of guy? I don’t know.

Maybe I’ve answered my own question, but would it be best to stick with social pheros when I interact with my TG?

You could be right, I know sometimes it can be confusing . I will were a mix that works great out in public but my husband doesn’t respond at all to it. I always end up trying to analyse why and tweak it to make it workable for both situations but its not always possible.

The TAL could make him feel you were out of his league since your still in the getting to know you stage. You did however have alot of TAH on as well because MX335 is TAH heavy and IS/A is TAL heavy but does have TAH in it. So you were giving more of a TAH signal.

MX340 connection and comfort
Ishine warm connection and comfort
CTTM the bnol connection and comfort.

See a pattern. Maybe its not that he is turned off by TAL or TAH its that he is looking for something deeper and more comforting.

You had on MX335 the sassy party girl mix.
Spaceland the laid back, fun , zoning out mix.

But you only had 2 sprays of Ishine compared to alot of other vibes going on so he could not make that connection feeling he seems to respond to so well.

Maybe the other men reacted well to the mix because they are not in the getting to know you stage but the getting to meet you stage with them.

I would go heavy on the connecting comfort mones and use the other products to steer that vibe for your TG and see how that go’s.

I hope that makes sense LOL

See right now your mix is heavy on the sexy independent (IS/A) sassy party girl (MX335) vibe because those are the two primary mixes you used in your mix.

Try using MX340 or CTTM and Ishine as your primary and then use the lesser amounts of the other [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) like IS/a or MX335 to steer that towards sexy.

This way the first signal that hits him is deep connecting comfortable rapport which he responds well to and then the sexy mones can kinda sneak under the radar and give him a goose.

Its worth a try. 😉

Possibly a stupid question, but are you sure the guy is straight? 😕

Or perhaps he’s so attracted to you he’s intimidated… you implied he’s younger than you? Maybe he’s worried that you’re a cougar who will use him until he is used up, then you’ll dump his broken, drained body on the trashheap and move on to the next… 😛 😃 Guys feel a lot of tension around women we are attracted to; it’s that tension that causes us to act either shy or creepy. As Tisha suggested, it’s probably that he was overwhelmed by the pheros plus what he was already feeling. And if as you wrote, he’s too young for you but you would “hang” with him, you may not want to use the sexual pheros because otherwise, it would be leading him on somewhat.

Umm…yeah! LOL. I don’t get gay vibes from him at all. Or maybe he’s just not attracted to me.

This could be it. To be honest, it’s hard getting to know someone in a dance hall. I am older, but I’m not the kind of woman to use someone and dump them. His being younger was causing me to question the likelihood of anything happening with him at all. That’s why I said in a previous post that I could just hang out with him, and by hang out with him, I mean just that. Not use him up and spit him out. However, if using the sexy pheros are giving off this signal, then I’ll definitely stop. I’ve started to realize that the socials work better at the getting to know someone stage. It was just so tantalizing at first to use the sexy pheros, because I wanted immediate results. Now I realize that the sexy pheros can make men run the other direction. I’m still learning!:o

I can say when I wore the mix at the Halloween party, another guy reacted the same way as this one. He made some snarky remark about my hair and steered clear of me. I think the party girl vibe also rubbed him the wrong way. However, when I wore the MX340 and the CTTM, he was so much more attentive and conversative and invited me to a singles group he attends.

Aww, Tisha! Thank you for this analysis. I’ll try MX340 next time I see him, since he responded the best to that. I hope it’s not too late and I didn’t totally blow it!

I guess I never really considered that he would be looking for something “deeper,” so that makes me admire him more. But I have noticed that yes, he seeks comfort from the women he is around, and at the dance hall, he have good rapport with the older women, in the sense that they seem very mothering toward him. And when I wore the CTTM with the cops, he actually opened up to me about his education and his parents’ divorce. I mean, I never expected to hear these kinds of things, but there they were.

TAH and Socials sound good to me. Use what you got working for you. If he couldn’t resist you with all that EOW on you then it prob was the IS/A.
Just consider it a hit and miss. At least you talked to him. No harm done. Now you know. Good luck! 🙂 Remember, brand new year.

Ha, ha! You’re right. At least I did get to talk to him. It’s funny how altered his behavior was, like he was trying to match himself against the IS/A and gave up. I wonder if the way I was dressed played a role in it too. Well, I’ll just try a social and cops with him again and see what, if anything, happens.

Guys are strange animalistic people. They do tend to compete a lot, even with girls. He may just want to be the alpha and you wearing IS/A could have just tired him out and made him feel like you were too high up there to be won. All’s not lost tho. He may sulk, but they all want what they can’t have… or what they think they can’t have 😉

Dressing nicely most certainly plays a role as well. As you’ve probably heard time and time again these pheros are like enhancers, just like make-up or a nice dress. Playing it up to the fullest will definitely set you up for the part.
Sooo maybe next time your out think about how you’d like to be perceived before you decide what to wear and before you decide what phero to wear with it 🙂

Well, it was a New Year’s Eve dance party, so I wasn’t going to show up in jeans and a t-shirt.😉 I looked appropriate for the occasion.

Social pheros did the job!

So here’s an update on my perplexing situation. It seems like the excess of IS/A and MX335 might have contributed to my less than stellar interaction with my TG on New Year’s Eve. I wore CTTM last night, and things went so much better. I also think the different occasion and environment had a bearing in the different results.

**Product name, scent and strength:** CTTM, neroli. Covered with Pink Sugar

**Application dosage and locations:** One spray to hair. One spray split between wrists.

**Environment tested in:** Community center lobby/dance room

**Self effects:**
I was feeling very apprehensive considering my last interaction with my TG. I was not sure how he was going to act when he saw me. However, after I applied the CTTM, my mood was elevated and positive.

**Effects to others:**
Last night went very well. My TG and I got along so well, it was magic. No awkwardness, no weird moments. Such a difference from the Group Leader I was interested in. I always felt so awkward around Group Leader, and it seemed like he felt the same no matter how much I tried to put him at ease.

I volunteered to cover the desk for the three salsa classes. I immediately noticed my TG’s haircut. It was pretty obvious: shoulder-length to a buzz-cut. I told him I liked his new haircut. I was scheduled to work for three hours. The first hour my TG helped with the first salsa class, and I stayed at the desk with Woman 1. Woman 1 can come off a bit frosty, but she warmed up to me and shared some about her job as a sociology teacher. Then she took the next two classes, and that left me with my TG. Perfect. We talked non-stop for almost an hour. The power of CTTM. TG did most of the talking. That’s how it usually is with men and me anyway. I always seem to be attracted to the chatty ones. So what did I learn about TG? He’s not as young as he looks. He told me all kinds of things. He even said at one point, “I’m sure that’s more than you want to know.”

I noticed we were mirroring each other with our bodies leaning back and our arms crossed. It was cold in the lobby. The communication was definitely much easier this time around, and it flowed much more naturally. He also tried to sneak in a touch later in the evening before we left.

**Duration of effects:** Three hours

**Range:** within 2-3 feet of my TG

**Time exposure:** Three hours
