I noticed the posts “sounded” like him too. I know everybody got excited when the “thread of the week” started showing up. It would be invaluable to have him back as a part of the forum even just a post or two on a regular basis would bring some sense that we are moving in a direction instead of just boiling the same pot over and over. ---

I was just PM’ed about this thread right now. If you’re talking about me, well… I really appreciate this! Thank you guys. I always tend to see positive comments PM’d to me, but not on the public forum so much. Don’t know why that is. Anyway, I’m certainly at your service while I’m here. Mind you, I can’t always be around, but I’m doing my best to make a few changes for the better. Unfortunately, not everything works out, but eh… whatchya gonna do? Synergy is great when you got it, but you sort of have to fail your way forward at times. Before I go off and put myself back into research mode (research mode & social mode are two very different things to me, unless I’m actually testing mixes), I will leave everyone with a few things. First, I understand how weird the economy is right now. We all have value, but the “stuff between us”, the currency in which we use to exchange our apples and oranges, has gone kind of phooey. I’m sorry for anyone who’s been aversely affected. I think I’m going to give one lucky person a chance to meet another “man of the house”, Sir Richard Branson of the amazing Virgin Group, along with his good friends that believe in his vision at a get together in LA. You’ll also meet Christian Slater, maybe Charlize Theron. I don’t know what the line up is this year, but it’s an actual co-mingling opportunity. For any hard working idealist, an event like this could be life changing for some. The social and “networking” opportunities are enormous. I don’t know quite who to give this away to. Maybe start a start with people showing interest, then have others vote or something. Or nominees, I dunno. I don’t know how best to “raffle” things. I do know I don’t want it to be completely anonymous, though. I want it to go someone who’ll be dramaticaly aided by it. Second, some of our products tackle certain problems with the economy in a more direct way. Anytime I’m around here, when I spot someone in pain… I help them the best I can. Before I go into “deep thought” (gosh, I sound like either Hal or a Deep Freezer!), and really tackle the new diffusion system (and some other tech) head on, I’m trying to figure a out a way to have the staff here do what I do. Not on an infrequent basis like when I help out a college kid or a lonely person (or someone having a tough time with their job), but maybe on a daily basis. I’ve been looking at the numbers, and seeing how to make them work with the good ol’ ideals. Combine some nice 60s ideals to help tackle the screwiness of 2010. We’ll see how that works out. ---

I will vouch for Michael Harris amazing generosity I do not want to say exactly what he did, because then everyone will be asking for it, but he blew my mind when he realized the economy was really hurting me and I was not asking for anything. ---
