Okay, not exactly related to [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/).

What the hell does it mean when a guy starts heavy breathing on me? I am not the nutcase extroverted kind IRL and I speak only when I need to. So I observe things around me with obsessive detail. When I’m on the job, sometimes I need to do some things which require close physical contact with men. Then these people who are usually normal with me start heavy-breathing. At first I figured it was because they were scared, or asthmatic. But I can’t deny that it makes **me** uncomfortable.

Other situations: crowded bus where you’re stuck for an hour pressed up against some guy. When I’m asking a senior questions and we’re alone together in a room.

Maybe its just me, being paranoid.
☹⭕eek:

the dudes are probably out of cardiovascular resipritory condition and or asthama/allergies. are you using any pheros ? that might be it.

i know i’m fat and out of shape and have asthma/allergies so sometimes this happens to me esp. if i ve just gotten up from my desk and walked across the room.

yes at any rate it can get on your nerves[it bugs my wife to death] then i get on the treadmill [aka dreadmill] for a week and my breathing improves.

I was wondering, is it OK to tell them that they are breathing rather heavily and that it was/is distracting? Or is it rude?

No pheros.

yeah let them know in a nice way if possible. just ask "do you have a

beathing disorder because it is really distracting"

MAYBE YOU COULD PUT ON SOME A314 THAT WOULD GET THEIR RESPECT.

Yeah I would second that motion on how to mention it, and if it turns out to be just attraction take it as a compliment.

until i realized that left alone to sit quietly - he was a moutbreather. like literally sat there with his jaw slack, panting.

i just couldn’t deal with it.

My ex always had heavy breathing. But he usually had bad allergies and always breathed out of his mouth since his nose would be plugged up. That and he had a high metabolism so his breathing rate was pretty high anyway.

best thing would be to get him to go to a specialist to deal with the problem. it doesnt have to be like that, you know… there are things you can do these days…

Yeah, but we’re not dating anymore. And he has been an ass lately. So I really don’t care. Besides, whenever I tried to convince him to try something about his allergies we would always get into a fight because he refused to do anything about it. So I say if it is not bothering him, just let him be.

I didn’t know.. You’re perfectly right of course.
