Hey guys!

22, F, California

I’m new with this pheromone stuff, but after reading in what’s in this forum, I’m hoping it could help me put a spark back into my relationship. There are good moments, but mostly dull moments… and long periods (weeks!!) of dull moments.

I came across the word “pheromone” in a product sold in Sephora (The Alchemist by Philosophy) so I kept reading on and here I am.

I don’t know anything about [pheromones](https://a314.com/) but so far, the “instant sexyness” looks like it’s something that could help me.

XOXO

Welcome to the forum jdmtype1, The Instant Sexiness should be a good choice from you from what you’ve said so far, although being a guy I can’t say I’ve tried it. But, I’m sure that Tisha, Kitten and Inkling will be around shortly to wish you a warm womens welcome, and steer you in the right direction.

I do find it odd that a 22 year old woman needs help spicing things up though. Guys your age are generally ready to go all the time. Tell us a bit more about the relationship. How long have you been together? Is there a big age difference? Is the relationship lagging outsite the bedroom as well? How is the communication?

I don’t mean to pry, but in order to steer you toward products that will work best for you and achieve the desired results, it would be helpful to know a bit more about your particular situation.

I am thinking something along the lines of Instant Sexiness and [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/) could be helpful. I am guessing that sex is not the only problem. At your age, I somehow doubt that your partner has just lost interest in sex, and I’m thinking there are probably other issue(s). The Instant Honesty will help open deeper communications between the 2 of you and of course the Instant Sexiness will make you more desireable.

Again, welcome to the forum. You have found a great group of people who will bend over backwards to help.

Mark

When I have my dull moments, I listen to the Mamas & Papas! Remember, California Dreamin’?🆒 The song stayed more than 3 years on the chart! That was the best moment in life (for many)…[Instant Sexiness](https://phera.com/product/instant-sexiness/) is like the song too…‘beautifully’ produced, for beautiful people like YOU!🙂

Welcome aboard!🙂

We’ve been together for 4 yrs and 7 months. Not much age difference. I’m a month older but that’s about it. And to be honest, the communication sucks sometimes. Same like sex, there are moments when we have great conversations, but then there are also moments when he has nothing to contribute to the conversation.

But outside the bedroom, he is a little bit better. He takes care of me, we laugh, we have fun, and he talks a lot more. But once inside closed doors, he seems to be a little bit indifferent towards me.

One thing I also don’t get is, after the first 2 years of the relationships, he
tells me that he does not like sex that much, and he just wants to be with be and enjoy my company. OMG I had no words for him… I was shocked and I did not know how to tell him my frustration without seeming like a bitch/jerk. And if I am honest, I am afraid I might say something I might regret.

He tells me that (along the lines of) – aren’t you happy that I’m not like most guys who only want one thing?
or – sex is not that important in a relationship.
and comments like – I’m glad you’re cute because I’m not into “sexy” that much.
or – I’m tired / Not today (until it becomes weeks before anything happens)

And to everyone, thanks for the welcome! Maybe I’m doing something wrong, maybe not. But I want to make things work so I appreciate all the advice and comments. 🙂

I am wondering if maybe the 2 of you have grown apart. You’ve been together since you were 15 or 16, when you were both at similar maturity levels, but in those nearly 5 years you have probably blown way past him. Women tend to mature WAY faster than men in the years from 15 to 21.

Also, I am wondering if maybe he hasn’t starting thinking tht he’s not ready to settle down and thinking that he’s missing something. Or even worse, could he be seeing somebody else? At 22 years of age, his hormones should still be raging, while you probably won’t come into your peak for another 10 years or so.

As far as I’m concerned, sex is very important to a relationship. Sex is like the physical glue that bonds and stengthens the emotional intimacy and love between 2 people. Sex without an emotional intimacy is nothing more than carnal lust, and emotional intimacy without sex becomes more of a friendship.

I hate to be so blunt and suggest something other than an answer you’re looking for, especially on Thanksgiving. But, at the same time I don’t want to sugarcoat your situation and tell you everythings gonna be great.

I hope Tisha, Kitten, Inkling and some of the other ladies in the forum will step in and give their take on your situation, as I could be way off base being a guy, and for once I actually hope I’m wrong and they step in and tell me what an idiot I am.

Anyway, I do wish you the best of luck with your relationship, and a Happy Thanksgiving.

PS: As to pheros, I am thinking along the lines of Instant Sexiness to make him want you more, and [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/) to open a channel to deeper communication.

Thank you very much for your comment. I do appreciate all the point of views in this forum. 🙂

I do sometimes think that maybe we’ve grown apart, but he always does little things here and there that makes me remember why I am with him in the first place. But stepping out of my shoes and really taking a look at this, those things might just not be enough.

He had an ex has cheated on him before and he absolutely loathes cheaters, so I hope that he has not been making a fool out of me for this long. And if he is cheating on me, I would have no choice but to leave him…

Again, because I’ve been with him for so long, I very afraid to do anything I will regret (like leave him). Aside from the fear of being alone, ‘dating’ is like a foreign thing to me now. I haven’t been out in the dating world in so long. So now I’m hoping to just try my best to make this work. Maybe I can start by putting a spark back into the relationship.

I really do feel for you, and knowing that I may be reading things wrong and be totally off base, I just PM’d Tisha and asked her to take a look at your situation and give her take on it. I don’t know if she is reading her messages, but I know she’s prowling around the forum, and I’m sure that at some point she will make it over to put in her 2 cents. Tisha is usually dead on, and I believe that she has a knack for providing just the right advice. Since I am a guy and know that I don’t see things the same as a woman would, I wanted to at least have one of the women on the forum give you their input.

You have to take a look at the those things that he does for you, and evaluate whether it is enough, or you need something more than what he’s willing to give. If you looked at those things as meals, is your hunger being satisfied, or are you going to bed starving. I know it’s a strange alalogy, but when you think about it, it is pretty sound.

It does kind of sound like you might be settling just so you don’t have to be alone and relearn the art of dating. If that’s the case, I can absolutely promise you that the heartache and loneliness that a breakup brings will go away. And in the long run, the pain of a breakup is far less than the pain of being with the wrong person. If you can get the spark back and rekindle the relationship, I absolutely encourage you to do so. But, don’t stay in the relationship, just for fear of being alone.

I do wish you the best, and hope that you’re having a great Thanksgiving,

Mark

Hello Welcome to the forum 🙂

Ok first things first.

He dosnt get into sex. Hmmm not many men around like that until they get much much older and usually most of them are still into it. Is it at all possible that there is something medical going on. Low testosterone can effect a mans sex drive, Stress, fatigue, depression. Do you think he has any of these problems? Do you know that he is faithful and is he kind to you even though he is indifferent at home?

Well we will try to cover them all.😃 pheromones wont cure him of anything but they can get his blood flowing and perk him up a bit. 😉

You need to talk about why he feels this way about sex and make it clear to him that sex is important to you and if you are important to him he will make a effort. I would get [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/) for that. It induces deep conversation and makes people open up comfortably.

Possible low testosterone. Copulin products will up that by about 130% when a guy is exposed to it. 😃 Gets the blood flowing to all sorts of interesting places. This question is personal and you can say “none of your business” if you want but are you on the BC pill? See it brings down the amount of natural copulins that a women makes normally. Cops are a big part of what gets them frisky. I was on them for years so I need alot to see a effect. Instant sexiness A and B both have cops in them. Lust After Me is Androtics big cop product. MX109 is also good. (I normally dont suggest advanced but this situation may call for it) There is also a heavy duty cop product that we can talk about how to get later. Lets not shock him to much all at once. 😉

IS/A is a more strong confident sexy mix. IS/B is more kittenish soft sexy.

B is out of stock right now and only comes in a big bottle. Just so you know

Fatigue and depression. Ok no pheromones will solve this. See if you can get him to go for a check up. Instant Shine may help somewhat but it is no cure for depression. Its a mood enhancer makes people feel upbeat and sort of optimistic.

Now if you suspect something else is going on then prehaps you should kick his ass to the curb but I get the feeling its not that. I think he is just in a rut and we need to shake him up a bit.

I have a thread in the ladies section on fun little things you can do to spice things up. This along with the pheromones should raise the dead.

> [@Still nothing is working](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/still-nothing-is-working/5896):
>
> i dont mean to make this long but here’s the story. … PLEASE! I don’t want to hear about cheating or anything negative like that - I just want advice and how to find a product that will help me. I have tried several different thing like EoW, eros, edge and one other. not only do they not work on my man but they dont work when i wear them out in public. no man turns his head or smiles at me or even knows i’m alive. i am not an ugly person and i do not go out in public looking or acting sour. …

> [@OMG - I'm too new to understand](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/omg-im-too-new-to-understand/2949):
>
> hello all, could someone please help me a bit. i am very very ignorant to all of this. i went to love scents and got a few of their samples. one was the Edge and the other was Scent of Eros for Women. I tried the Scent of Eros and I was amazed that that night - even though it was midnight and my man had worked a long day, and even cooked dinner and was very tired, was very playful with me…etc. I was very excited. I waited a few days and tried Scent of Eros again. NOTHING happened, not eve…

I also want to mention that this just may be his personality. The indifferance part. He sort of reminds me of my husband. He is all smiles out in the world but when he gets home he can be sort of indifferent. He is sexually active but he is stressed out alot. He is happiest when sitting behind the wheel of his race car.

Course me being me I wont stand for that so I spice things up all the time. We have talked about it and he says home to him is a place to unwind and veg out. He is happy to see me and spend time with me but people are clammering at him all day and all he wants to do is veg out when he gets home. I just say ok and give him some space and put on something sexy or give him a massage and the next thing you know he is snapping out of it LOL.

If you have any questions just pop on down to the ladies section and we can come up with a plan 😉

If there are any more suggestions for products that would apply to my situation, I would really appreciate it. 🙂

Ok, here’s my suggestion, but it doesn’t concern products:

I don’t think it’s you that needs help. You actually seem pretty incredible! And, I don’t think you should let him make you feel that you’re the one that needs help.

The pheros will hopefully help you make him step up and be a man, But, it’s not you! 😉

Well hello there and a BIG SteveO welcome to the forum.

I wouldn’t want to take away from the superb suggestions already made by Mark and Tisha. Their advice really covers about all the possibilities, all except the one I’m about to go over. Sure Tisha kind of mentioned it a bit, but like the great and powerful SteveO that I am I will give you the goodies.

OK you might know this already but us guys we can and do get bored to death by the same Pink and Squishy our girl shares with us. Yup, not many guys will admit it and as men there actually may be a law I’m breaking but by God woman we want spice, adventure, Kama Sutra positions, lingerie, ice cubes, handcuffs, oils, silk ties, blind folds, cheeze whiz and one of my favorites ham and cheese sandwich.

Spice it up girl, make it exciting again. Get yourself some sexy lingerie (think teddy or baby doll, remember it’s for him) and tie four silk ties to each corner of your bed. Have a blind fold near by and a bowl of ice, a diet Dr. Pepper and a ham and cheese sandwich on the nightstand. Now whether you tie him up or he you, that’s for you to decide. One thing I know for sure is guys love a noisy woman. Be vocal about his touch.

The ham and cheese and Diet Dr. Pepper is for in between the third and fourth times. Believe me he will love you for this.

Candles set the mood.

OK now I’m going to have to go call one of my girlfriends up. See what you made me go and do. It’s all your fault.

BTW gift certificate is on its way.

It wasn’t a law SteveO, it’s the oath of the Secret Mens Club that as males we are all a member of, and you just broke it! Your sentence shall be 180 days of straight pink and squishy, or 180 days of none at all. The jury’s still debating 🙂

And BTW, thanks for the vote of confidence

180 days without. Dude you might as well give me Pink and Squishy or give me death. I won’t make it even three days.

Alright, that was good for a laugh, had ya scared there, did I? 🙄

Better watch it though SteveO, remember the girl that started the thread is a 22 years old and looking to spice things up, cause her guy isn’t into sex. Keep it up and she’s gonna come knocking on your door 😉

And jdmtype1, I hope that didn’t offend you, it’s all in good fun.

Oh I’m ok. I totally appreciate all the advice/replies!

I actually have never tried the blind folds, hand cuffs, etc. because I did not know if my bf is into that. To be honest, I’m a little nervous to try new things, but since you mentioned how guys like that stuff, I might as well give it a try!

(There won’t be any updates in a while though since I will be going on a business trip, but when the situation permits, I will be posting what happens.

~~ I got the GC too. Thank you, SteveO.
