Hey. My name is Phil. I’m 19 (20 in a few months) and I’m originally from York, PA. I’m a sophomore at Penn State University. This has always been something that I’ve been interested in (actually since like my jr. year in High School,) but haven’t acted upon. I’ve actually been paging through some of the previous threads and such just to see how some of this stuff actually works. I guess I finally decided it was time to just sign myself up and try it out. I guess I’m just fascinated to see how something like [pheromones](https://a314.com/) can alter an individual’s mindset of you… Now, I do have a girlfriend (though she lives about 5.5 hours from my house and goes to college about 3.5 hours away from my college… Maybe I’ll tell everyone how we met and stuff if I end up being an active member,) and I’m not all about going out and hooking up per say. I’m actually majoring here for a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, and am desperate to get an internship. I thought maybe something like this could get me some more respect in interviews and such. I was also interested to see the effects it might have on my girlfriend’s behavior around me. I’ve been with her for a year and a month now and I only see her, typically, every third weekend or so. Though both of us are saving ourselves for marriage, I still enjoy being close and intimate with her. So… anyone have any suggestions for me to kick off this new experience? What you think I should buy? etc. I typically wear Fierce by Abercrobie and Fitch when I’m around her (ha, the only time I ever wear cologne) and I’ve caught on through reading here that the laws of pheromones are the same as the laws of cologne… One spray for a guy my age generally does the trick. Sorry, you guys have probably explained this milllions of times, but what exactly is instant shine? It’s just basically a [pheromone product](https://a314.com/shop/) that makes you and people around you happy? If so, what’s the difference between that and A314’s effect? I guess you said that A314 is supposed to make you seem more intimidating almost, or make you seem like you’re of a higher echelon? I just want to make sure that I buy the first product that’s right for me. I’d be upset if I didn’t see results and it’s because I bought the wrong thing for what I wanted to do… ---

Well I can’t tell you what’s in them, but they work great for me so far. I’m sure Toil knows more than me, but A314 could be bad for someone as young as you. It elicits a sense of deep maturity (think Bond, James Bond) and unless you are that mature it won’t be congruent to you and could turn the females away. If you use it use it sparingly and try to pair it with shine, honesty, openness. My first combo was Ammo, shine and [Instant Female Magic](https://a314.com/product/instant-female-magic/) and the combo worked great. I used A314 (I’m 39) and I had younger girls calling me sir. Not the results I would want if I want them to think of me as a partner rather than a father figure. Good luck and welcome ---

Thanks steveo, that’s some great advice. As badass as James Bond is, I don’t think I’m of age where it would be acceptable for me to be viewed as being _that_ badass. Anyway, though my girlfriend and I don’t have sex, we still, well, fool around a lot… toilofday suggested [Instant Female Magic](https://a314.com/product/instant-female-magic/) as being something I could use, but what about Turn Up the Heat? I’ve been reading some stuff about it… and well, I know I’m a little younger here. I just figured maybe there was something I could use to make our times together a little more… well, interesting, for both her and me. She already has a relatively strong drive, I just didn’t know if I could utilize it any better. To her, the less clothes I’m wearing, the happier she is. 😉 I almost got suckered into the Pherlure scam… Though I tried to investigate their WebMD claims and stuff, I couldn’t find anything… Yet, a countless number of seemingly reputable sites approved it. I was still skeptical, but I almost bought it. Right when I got to the payment page on their website, I found a thread here actually that explained the scam. Really it’s complete genius. I wouldn’t say I’m stupid, but it nearly got me. That’s why I came here, because I figured you guys could help me figure out if this stuff really works or not. It’s a tad expensive (gimme a break, I’m in college) but worth investigating. ---

Oh yeah… and I’ll have to post pictures of us. She’s pretty much the best looking gal I know. She doesn’t think I’m that bad either. I’d give myself more credit, but I have a hard time getting over my humility. ---

Did you check out the store’s description of Instant Shine? It gives a more full picture of what it does. It gives an impression of youthfulness and vibrance, as well as confidence and good mood. At higher doses, people report euphoria or being unable to stop smiling. It’s a blend of pheromones based around one they’re calling TAA (chemical name is a trade secret) which you can read more about by doing a search here on the forum. A314 has a mature (think middle-aged) leadership vibe, serious and commanding. The newest version is a blend of 16 pheromones, based around androsterone, which someone said smells like the inside of a middle aged man’s car (!) Not a fun [social pheromone](https://a314.com/product-category/social-pheromones/) unless you wear it with some lighter-feeling stuff like Instant Openness, Instant Shine, etc. But it would be _very good_ for you to wear to your internship interviews, and any time you want someone to take you seriously and find you unbelievably mature and accomplished for your age. To make it more congruent with your young appearance, wear it _with_ Instant Shine, etc. You just have to experiment some until you find the combination that will get you the results you’re after, in each type of situation. ---

Just ordered my IS and [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) yesterday… Should come in tomorrow. I can’t wait to try it!!! I’ll have to post my conclusions 🙂 🙂
