**Race:** Asian
**Age:** 26
**Sex:** Male

**Background Story:** I am a first generation Asian-American who was born and raised in New York City. According to the Myer-Briggs type indicator, I am an ENFP. I can be an extremely enthusiastic and fun and warm person to be around. I have been told that I am “extremely handsome for an asian”. Due to some early life experience (girl rejection, peer humilitation, etc), I can also be very insecure.

As far as my luck with women? Much better today than as a child, teen, early adult. I have read the books recommended by the pick-up community and learned to apply the teachings to my life and be congruent with how I want to act. Problem is that it is very hard to undue certain social conditioning without commiting to actions that will validate. In this case, it is me trying to ease up on my insecurities.

I am tired of being thought of as the “Nice, sweet, bubbly guy but he is probably gay”. I am tired of being stuck in the friendzone. I am tired holding back and acting how I would want to act without fear of rejection. I am tired of the one-dimensional perception laid upon me by my colleagues and peers.

**How I discovered about [pheromones](https://a314.com/)**

Earlier this year, I suffered from an accident which left me hospitalized for 2 months. When I was out, I looked emaciated (25 lbs lost from catabolization) and broken. My doctor put me on steroidal medication for recovery and weight gain. This made my recovery quick and also led to my discovery of pheromones.

I started noticing shortly after taking my medication that people were reacting differently towards me.

**Women:**

- Make longer eye contact with me
- Would actually stand closer to me within my vicinity.
- Would sometimes initiate conversations with me
- Would pull their hands away from their boyfriends as soon as they saw me
- Do the hair twirl thing as we converse.
- Would be less receptive and sometimes hostile if it was that time of the month.

**Men:**

- Some seemed to be more respectful and compliant even sometimes going as far as to exhibit “beta” behaviour in my presence.
- Some seemed to come across as hostile to me if they were with their girlfriends or sometimes just for no reason.

I knew this was no coincidence and I suspected at the time that it may have just been a change in my natural signature. I don’t ever plan on taking steroids again (at least not on purpose) but I am now intrigued on all that there is to learn about Pheromones

**What I hope to accomplish with pheromones**
I am hungry to make positive changes in my life. I don’t care to be the number one pick-up artist or be the star alpha-male. I just want to have some tools in my arsenal to help me be in more control of my environment whether it be social or work related.

Thank you all for your time. I hoped that you have enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing this. I’ve been up since 10am (It’s 2PM now) trying to put this all together as eloquently as possible and it was worth every minute.

Hello and welcome to the forum, zerosix!

Wow, yes, a very good intro. I can see that you are also working on sharpening up your social skill set as mones will NOT do the heavy lifting. They WILL provide support, be the tool that you need to overcome the ‘sweet bubbly, possibly gay guy’ vibe others seem to get from you.

I would suggest AMMO to get your feet wet. I like the comfortable to be in my own skin, if you mess with me, I’ll BITE sort of vibe that I get with it. The sexy confidence is spread out nicely in a mone bubble around you.

If you want to get deeper into the mone waters with more choppiness, a wilder streak, I’d suggest IJ for the ‘I don’t give a Rat’s Ass what you think’ vibe. I can see this really putting that signal that YOU are a MAN and DON’T Care WHAT others think… If you do get this one, I’d suggest you add IShine or IO to the basket in the case that after testing IJ, you find that it becomes a bit over the top, then, layer IShine or IO to tone it down some.

I’m sure others will also provide their thoughts on your situation and I wish you well in your mone adventure! 😃

Hello and welocme to the forum.

Wow that is one heck of an intro. I am sorry to hear about your accident but glad to hear that you are doing better. And I guess that was a strange turn of events that had you suddenly start believing in pheros.

There are a number of products here that you can use to help in life.

For work my favorite combo was A314 and IH. A314 will give The Man kinda vibe and the IH will help people feel connected to you and talk to you and not feel overly intimidated by the A314.

A314 and [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) are a great combo. Read the thread in my signature block about that one.

If you have trouble opening up conversations then I would suggest also thinking about IO. It is great at that as long as you are doing some talking too.

I hope this helps some - I know it is kinda short but I have to run though I did want to say hello before I left.

Welcome to pherotalk Zerosix!

We all have insecurities and its doesn’t matter if you are attractive or not.

Sometimes its hard to see ourselves the way others do and with pressure from so many ppl and from the media, sometimes even relationships may break us down.

Just accept yourself and when the change comes it will be easier to love you

Alpha, Boss, Mick…I want to thank you all for your input. As you probably saw, I decided to pick up A314, IS, IH, IO, and IJ, and Heavy AMMO to try out. I appreciate the extra bottle of IH. I have a feeling that this will be my favourite spray for rapport and emotional intimacy (which I love to attain). Whoever put that note on my invoice with the smiley face is an awesome person. I will in fact have fun experimenting 🙂

Thank you for pointing it out Mickaelia. I am actually comfortable with my looks (Took me till I was 24 to realize it). What I did wanted to add as an extension to my point is that, I am done with deferring blame on others for the way my life is. I know some people expect a handout from the world but I have realistic expectations. I know that doesn’t happen. As Alpha said and I agree, **I am a man** and **I have control over my life**. As my friend once put it to me bluntly " **If you can’t invest in yourself, then why would anyone be invested in you?**

Plan for 2012? **Change**.. **Positivity**. I always believed that the energy that you put into this world is the energy that you will get back .

Again, thank you all for your response. From Jan, 6th and onwards, I have felt energized since I’ve made my post. It’s like that childhood feeling of happiness. You don’t know why you feel that way but it feels amazing. 🙂

I really look foward to being a part of this family/community.
