Hey there, I am a 23 year old gay guy and I live in Brazil. I first heard of pheromones around 2000 when I saw the Batman & Robin movie on TV. In the movie, Poison Ivy’s weapon is this very powerful pheromone powder that makes all the men fall for her and do whatever she wants. After watching the movie, I did a little research to find out if such a thing actually existed and I saw the studies around it. Then when I turned 18 (2006) I got myself one of those pheromones you can buy at the sex shop and while I did like the fragrance, nothing out of the ordinary was noticed and I forgot about the subject. Then last year I was travelling around Europe and making a list of things I should buy and bring home whether because you can’t get them in Brazil or because it’d be too expensive here and I accidentally found this Forum talking about pheromones in general and the AndroticsDirect pheromones more specifically. It seemed to me that AndroticsDirect was some sort of R&D lab and the forum was where testers would talk about their impressions. Because not all feedback was positive and because of the variety and diversity of people posting in the forum I could see it was not a hoax or anything and I decided to join the forum and get myself one of the AD mones. I initially wanted Mystery Boy (for obvious reasons) but as it’s always out of stock I decided to buy the one with the most positive reviews, [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/). With it, a small flask of Turn up the heat was sent as a gift and so I had two mones I could test. Though I really liked the smell, I performed different tests with no success at all. I tried wearing it on the bus, crowded streets, going alone to a bar… to see if I would get a bigger number of stares or if people would actually talk to me there. But really nothing happened. So I started hating myself for believing it would work, and I started to think it was actually a placebo. Like, if you’re wearing a cologne that will make people think you are sexy and interesting, you automatically build up your confidence and start acting more sexy and interesting, and the cologne itself has probably no chemical pheromones in it. Then I started conversations for the “get double your money back” thing, and the AndroticsDirect team actually replied my emails and they were really willing to give my money back. But then something happened that made me believe the mones worked, and I gave up on the return thing. I had just returned to Brazil and I found out my ex-boyfriend (we broke up 2 months before I traveled) had a new boyfriend. Well, it broke my heart and I told him we had to have a conversation. I put on the Instant Shine and also sprayed it all over my car and I picked him up and parked somewhere calm were we could talk inside the car. For a while we were acting like we were kind of drunk and our “social bubbles” were very thin (like we could talk comfortably with our faces really close from each other). I made a joke about working out and he actually lifted up my shirt and touched my abs. And it was very unexpected given the situation. Well, after all these we started to get serious again and I asked him to break up with his new boyfriend so we could have a chance to fix things between us and get together again. It was a kind of absurd request but he cried and said he was sorry and accepted breaking up with the guy (and then they broke up, he got depressed because of the break up and didn’t want to see me, and a week later they got together again). Anyway, it seemed that the mones finally WORKED! And so I started wearing it everyday, including job interviews, the nightclub, all that. Then there were some occasions when people I know that would usually just say “hi” from a distance, they actually stopped and had long conversations with me. And there were times in the nightclub in which everyone seemed to be into me. But again these could still be just coincidences. But what happened between my ex and I was just too weird to be a coincidence. My conclusions were that (1) When you’re using mones not everyone will be affected by it and you can’t also target this one specific person. But some people are definitively sensitive to it, the only issue is whether they are interesting for you. (2) Whether it works or not, the mones have a very good smell and I haven’t met anyone who didn’t like my perfume. (3) Exposition time (i.e. being in a closed environment for sometime smelling the mones) may increase your chances that it will work. Anyway, my flask is gone now and I want to buy more mones and test different ones. Hopefully I’ll be lucky enough to someday find the MysteryBoy available, I’ll love to test it. My objectives are not only dating, I do think the right mones could work wonderfully for a job interview for example (as it fulfills that condition of lengthy exposure in enclosed environment). Oh, one thing I didn’t mention. Getting the AndroticsDirect Mones in Brazil is hell! Brazil is not in the drop-down menu for you to choose your country. And I’ll have to send it to a friend’s house in the USA and ask him to mail them to me. I do hope AndroticsDirect will cover Brazil real soon because I don’t want to bother my friend too much and I want to make some experiences. Who knows one day I’ll get to Poison Ivy’s formula and start my own world domination projects? ---

Oh, and one thing I forgot to mention, I’m in love with someone from my work place. I hope [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) can help me. We are both gay and around the same age, but he is an intern and I am graded equivalent to his boss, but he is from another section and I have no authority over him, so technically I don’t think I risk being fired on the grounds of harassment unless I do something aggressive that will make him feel uncomfortable or threatened (and I don’t plan on doing that). So Rule#1: I shouldn’t use anything aggressive or too sexual, it has to be appropriate for the workplace but at the same time make him feel interested and attracted to me. My workmates and I usually do happy hours and party together, I already have a plan to invite him to go along. So, Rule#2: In those occasions (especially if we go to the nightclub, where there is a lot of competition from other guys - and other scents) I think I could go for something stronger, but not strong enough for him to feel uncomfortable. The intern has no relevant past work experiences, so he probably overreacts on the “don’t get involved with someone from your work place” rule, and I need to make him feel comfortable with the idea. ---

Hi tperesf! Welcome to the mone forum! You have an extraordinary intro post! You have gone through some growing pains and have come out using mones to your benefit. That’s great news! 🙂 I think the [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/), AMMO combo would work out for you. You’ve already seen the power of IS by itself and AMMO will give interactions with others a sexual inclination, if you steer it that way. Welcome to Pherotalk tperesf! What an interesting introduction. And yes, whenever I get a past client or future one asking about the shipping to Brazil it breaks my heart to tell them we can’t. There are a few who do use us friends , family and forum members but I do know many more would come if it wasn’t for this difficulty. My biggest concern now is whether the flasks will get here in Brazil and won’t have any trouble at customs. When I got my IS in Europe I had them with me, so no problem. But I remember reading in the forum about someone who put the mones in their luggage and when he picked it up in the airport there was a “your bag has been searched” stamp and the flask was missing. I guess I will first make a small order just to test whether I will get it and then I can think about enhancing my arsenal. I’ll do some reading in this forum before making my next order, I really don’t know what to get. I generally like guys with a more everyday look, not too flamboyant not too macho. I have read a lot of other threads by other gay guys and people seem to believe that a feminine scent will attract the coal mine worker kind of guy, while a scent that projects the “alpha male” in me will attract lady boys. What if I want something in between? Or a little bit of each of those types?
