My name is Daniel, and I just turned 18 today. I live in North Carolina, and I stumbled across pheromones when searching for a good cologne to use for college next fall. When I started reading about some of the effects of pheromones, I became excited because they seemed to address some of my personal problems. I’m very shy, and so it’s difficult for me to really get close to women (though I am really friendly!). I am hesitant though. I need convincing. I’ve been reading a lot through these forums, researching here and there in my free time, and while it sounds appealing it also sounds like a double edged sword. I’ve read numerous reports of people that thought the cologne was bad due to the [pheromone scent](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/) burning through the cover scent. Is it a gamble whether or not you will smell bad, or did the other users just put on too much/not properly? Also, I’m not sure if I gave enough information to give an accurate estimation of my situation, but which pheromones would you recommend that I buy? Currently I’m thinking IS and Ammo, though all suggestions are welcome 🙂 ---

Welcome to Pherotalk, Daniel. When I first found this place I was very skeptical and doubting of [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/). I lurked here for a a few weeks reading before I decided there was just too much evidence that pheromones do indeed work. Make sure you wait for your $25 gift card before ordering, your introduction should definitely qualify you. I too had a bit of shyness, though mine was mostly in approaching random women. With pheromones, I feel I’m more approachable to women. From the day I started using them, I noticed more women making eye contact, touching me and just approaching me in general. This boosted my confidence and helped in landing women on a regular basis. Remember, the mones won’t land the girl for you, but they will help in breaking down those initial barriers. I think you’re on the right track with Ammo and IS for your first purchase. That is exactly what I started with and had great success with it. It is still my go to combo that is the base for other mixes. IO and IH would also be great considering your shyness. Start simple and just go from there. Hey there, Dreamy. Welcome to the mone forum. Looking for colognes, eh? There is a section or discussion of user’s recommending different scents and colognes. You may be interested in their experienced opinions. AMMO is cologne strength and the scent package used is FF21. Some love it, some dislike it and I myself, am inbetween these two assessments of FF21. Though I still use AMMO for the sexy confident vibe that it gets me! 🙂 IShine is using [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) as the mone carrier scent and its much lighter than AMMO. It gets me a smile when I wear it. This is easier to cover, if you so choose. I’d suggest IO, which is also 6% strength, like IShine, but the hits are gabbing obvious, IMO. Hello Daniel and welcome to the forum. If you have doubts just read through the articles in the abstracts section. they are links to scientific articles that will show you pheromones and their effects are real. The second thing to do is read the thread in my signature block that discusses what pheromones will and will not do. These products are not magic. They will not make women fall in love with you or drop into your lap like in an axe commercial. What they do is give you an edge in a given social situation. The real work is up to you - you have to do something that the pheros can help you with. Nothing will happen if you just sit by yourself and do not talk to anyone. They will help when you get out there and mingle. For guys who are shy I sually recommend a combination of Ammo, IO and IShine although IG can work well for shy guys in place of the IG. Read up a little on both and think about which one might be a better match for you. We are always happy to answer any questions. ---
