Hello to all… I am here mainly because I am skeptical, _but curious!_ I have a personal hobby of investigating products / companies / science that make amazing claims. [Pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) are my latest curiosity. **If they work “as advertised”, what a wonderful solution to many of life’s problems!** If not, maybe once again an industry has been built on “the placebo effect”. So, HELLO! I am excited to try this out – to ask some questions and to discover some answers. ---

It makes me a little more skeptical though. Most industries I research who offer a major “no strings” discount to start off is because there is such an astronomical markup in the product that even at 10% of the original sale price (yes, 90% off) there is profit. Some supplements can retail as high as $60 a bottle but can in fact be given away for free (with a “handling charge”) and a profit is still made. The entire bottle produced for under $2. I will wait and see. I am excited about the potential! ---

Try out instant shine in the 2x concentration. One of my favorites. I’m not gonna tell you what it does if your interested in trying to prove the placebo effect(try not to read the store description if you haven’t already), so give it a whirl yourself and tell us how it works! ---

I’ll probably order a few things… I have some friends I can get to agree to allow me to “study”. They have been the subject of my [evil] experiments in the past. This way it can be completely blind. ---

It looks like to qualify for $25 GC I am going to have to provide some info. Here it goes: 34 Years Old / Male Eastern USA What am I hoping for from pheromones? That they provide benefits equal to the ones they promote. The easiest personal study for me would be to chart a sexual response in my wife; however I plan to have my friends participate in a blind study. ---

I placed my order with AD and I must say, my skepticism is already a bit lowered. No, I haven’t tried the products yet and cannot say anything about them. I ordered some Instant Shine and some [Turn Up the Heat](https://a314.com/product/turn-up-the-heat-tuth/). But, when I ordered, the gift certificate was able to cover the entire purchase, even S&H! This is NOT very typical of a snake-oil company. Usually the snake oilers will make sure you pay for the S&H so they can really not lose on a sale. They make $$ on the S&H and even when you get a great discount it means profit. With AD just now, their products will need to work if they are going to profit from an order under the GC amount. That is a very good sign. I will keep you posted on the results as they pertain to myself and my subjects (er, friends). ---
