Hello everyone! I recently moved to Central Oregon, and I am having a really hard time meeting new people. I already lack self confidence, something that has always been a hindrance on my relationships. I am hoping that some pheromones might give me a little kick start, and after doing some research, I am looking forward to trying [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/)! I am only 18, going to be going to college this fall, and really excited to see how great pheromones work. I am currently living with a bunch of guys, who are all very confident, loud and have an excellent way with the ladies. I lack that personality, and I am doing anything I can to get an advantage. I have always been the type of guy who is quiet and stand-offish. I do NOT have any sort of alpha traits. Everyone sees me as a person who they can walk all over, or mess with me. I have a TERRIBLE time going up to random people, I typically wait for people to come to me. Once I am warmed up to someone though, I am very funny, caring, and easy going. My girlfriend of 2.5 years recently broke up with me because she “lost feeling” after attempting a long distance relationship. She told me that she is really attracted to guys who have great self esteem, and that I need to work on that. I know that Instant Shine has some great effects that should help me. **Basically to sum it up:** **About Me:** 18 years old Pursuing a career as a Firefighter/Paramedic **Issues:** Lacks Confidence/Self Esteem Hard time meeting new people I let people walk all over me Lack Alpha status (if that makes any sense) 🙂 Always seen as that “guy friend” instead of a boyfriend to girls… **What I want from pheromones:** Confidence Self Esteem Ladies 😉 Haha If anyone can suggest any other pheromones for me to try, I am more than willing to try more than just IS. 🙂 If I were to limit myself to about $60-70, not including a $25 gift certificate… what should I get? Is Ammo a good choice for a well rounded improvement? Or should I get something to mix such as IG and IS? I am slightly skeptical, but I am excited to see changes. If I wanted to catch a girl’s attention, should I maybe go IG and TUTH? What are your recommendations? One thing I am worried about, concerning the AMMO… is that I am living with a bunch of Alpha males. Are they going to have some sort of negative effect towards me if I wear something that would give me an “alpha” vibe as well? Hey welcome to pherotalk. Glad you found it. Great introduction by the way. This will help you get some good feedback and advice. First off, I believe that Instant shine would be a great product for you to try. I had a chance to try it last week and have a large bottle that should arrive tomorrow 🙂 Really pumped about that. However, it sounds like you need a good base for overall character. If you are living with a bunch of guys that are very confident, you need to bump up your Alpha status. Being fun and giving everyone good vibes is awesome, but women will still flock to your Alpha friends if you are hanging out with them. I would recommend that you take a look at [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/). Great for your age. Good phero mix and comes in a togo bottle for you to test out. IG and IShine would make good combos. ---

If I were to get both IG and IShine, what should I do about the mixing? Not really sure how exactly the [pheromones](https://a314.com/) are supposed to me mixed, I do understand they are very potent. Also, should I just get the standards, or the double or 4x concentrations? I would probably be masking the “odors” with cologne, I am known to wear “Jake” by Hollister Co. 😛 I am not sure if I can open that bottle, so I would probably have to spray the pheromone, and then the cologne on top of it correct? ---

Ok a couple of things. You should probably start out with standard concentrations. The higher concentrations are for people that have tested their sweet spot or are older and have determined that they definitely need higher doses of pheromones to reach their desired effect. Here is a link on how to find your sweet spot _ **How To Find Your Sweet Spot** _ ([How to find your sweet spot...](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/how-to-find-your-sweet-spot/22146/1)) You want to [spray pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/spray-pheromones/) on hot spots of your body that are uncovered. Forearms, neck, back of neck and even hair. Some people spray IS directly to the face for self effects. Don’t mix the pheromones with your cover scent. These products are already dosed per spray. If you mixed it with something else, there is no telling what your actual mix would be. (It’s possible, but it takes some serious calulations.) Just spray on the mones, and then spray on a cover scent if you like. ---

Hey austin welcome to pherotalk man ! Pheros are best mixed on the skin because androtics already takes the time to make each spray dosed so that you get consistent results and consistent mcgs per spray. So spray it on your skin and then you can spray your cologne over it if you wish. The instants are scented in neroli which is very light and covered easily. [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) is scented at cologne strength and tends to need to be covered with a similar smelling scent if you want to try. But it will be pretty strong smelling since its close to regular cologne strength in smell and you dont want to smell like a cologne shop. you will have to find your sweet spot with these items and ill give you a link for that so you get a better understanding of how to gauge things. You will have to also realize, and this is very important, that you need to work on your inner self as well. Mones dont do all the work for you, they work on the subconscious level. You know how when you first meet someone you tend to feel like hmmm i just dont care for them or hmm i feel like ive known this person for years. That is the subconscious type responses you will get from using mones. You cant spray them on you, sit in a corner and think girls will come flocking to you or think you are more alpha from across the room. You will have to work on yourself, maybe hit the gym a bit to get more confidence, put yourself out there and understand that you may still get rejected here and there. They arent a magic serum but can definitely give you a great advantage if you act congruent and portray visually and through interactions what your subconscious signals are sending. The mones will give you a confidence boost and help in these areas and i definitely suggest you get instant shine for that purpose since it has worked very well in that department for me. I think you will like ammo because it is versatile and an all around attractant for females. It also has confidence built into and social buffers. Remember tho start with 1 spray since it has -none in it which is the attractant and you may produce a decent level naturally of this mone already. Too high a dose and you can experience ghosting or people ignoring or distancing themselves from you. Basically no hits/attraction will occurr from most people. Maybe a cougar since they respond to higher levels of -none. IG i think will also be great for you at your age. It will give you respect hits being more alpha, yet a cool guy and a ‘great boyfriend material’ type vibe. It tends to make thsoe who are younger seem a lil older, and those who are older seem a little bit younger. Hope this gives you some good solid information to go on ! Thank you everyone for the feedback! I was thinking about which pheromones to get… IShine, IG and Ammo all look great. I am definitely sold on IShine. IG also sounds like a great option for me, although I am already seen by many as mature already. I keep hearing Ammo has a strong smell, is it a good smelling cologne or will I really want to be masking it with something else? I was curious about the TUTH as well. Does it REALLY work like it is advertised? Will girls honestly just become extremely sexual towards me? And generally speaking with any pheromone, if I am with a group of guys, will the girl know exactly who is wearing the pheromone, or will she just like the entire group of guys? **Also, I am working out every day, eating healthier, and feeling greater about myself even without the pheromones. I just want that extra boost, anything can help right now 🙂** ---

I can’t wait to order! I am going to get [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/), Ammo, along with a TUTH to go and a IG to go, to test them out 🙂 Hopefully those will have some good combos. What do you recommend me to do with these? Like, which mixes? Where to spray? Remember, I am 18… is Ammo going to OD really easily? ---

Well lets see here, ammo comes in two different scents. Regular edition which smells kind of life laundry detergent type smell. ANd world edition that is more of a floral smell. I honestly like the world edition better. Its all personal preference though. Tuth can work that way however it has to be used in the right environments. If you are working out and being healthy and are fit and 18 then you probably already produce a lot of natural -none and excess of it will make you just come off as a horn dog or perv to a lot of people. SO with that said you may be able to get away with 1 shot or maybe even more its all about experimenting and i dont want to tell you not to get something, just give you the precautions. Its best used in the heat of the moment to ‘turn up the heat’ its typically used for last minute resistance in the bedroom. For instance youve been with a girl for a while and things are getting heated but you feel theres still some tension. Go to the bathroom give a spray and it helps to turn up the heat if you will 😉 If you wear it on yourself it should be buffered in any other setting like a club or such is the best venue for it. Ammo + instant shine is a great combo. So yes you will have some good mones to experiment with. I have gotten hits off of just instant shine alone. When you are in the presence of a girl and you make them feel happy and upbeat and social to you, then that in itself can be a turn on for some. If you are with a group of guys think of it this way. Say one of you smelled like BO, the girl wouldnt associate the entire group to have BO you tend to realize and can pin point who its coming from. IF you think however that a guy is steeling your phero signature then retire from the room for a bit or her presence, when you return she will subconsciously see that it was you who was making her feel that way and since you were gone that feeling had dissipated. Spray points are best in high heat areas liek pulse points. Neck, wrists, forearms, inner elbows, chest, etc. You should start out testing each product solo using the sweet spot guide before you start mixing a bunch together. You cant OD on instant shine so just find you optimal dose of that for self effects and the effects on others. Mine is around 2-3 sprays. Ammo and IG you will have to experiment with using the guide, and keep a log if needed to gauge reactions at different doses. Ammo could OD easily based on my information provided about tuth earlier. ITs more buffered so it wont be as bad as tuth but still has -none in it. Ammo can be buffered with ishine though to tone it down a bit. Just keep reading to learn more and ask any questions that you still have unanswered! ---

Katalyst, I really appreciate your post! I am very excited to make my first purchase of pheromones, but I am still waiting for my gc to arrive 🙂 For some extra information about myself, I am an INFJ according to the Meyer-Briggs personality test. It basically sums up my personality, pretty much dead on.
