Hey, I’ve just joined and glad to be a part of this fascinating forum.

I’m 43 years old (male) and currently living in Auckland, New Zealand. I guess what interests me is the whole idea of the power of [pheromones](https://a314.com/). I’m very aware of how sensitive I am to scents, particularly those of women. My wife’s scent drives me crazy and I guess I’m curious as to what effect my scent has and how that may or may not be enhanced.

For me also, as I get older I am more acutely aware of how my own hormonal balances are changing. I’m not insecure about it, it’s just one of those things that as a young man, I didn’t don’t even know to question. So I guess I’m curious to see if there is some way to regain some influence using pheromones. I have no desire to conquer the world, just be a bit more noticeable.

Looking forward to listening to others, learning a whole bunch - and who knows - maybe even trying a thing or two 🙂

Hi and Welcome, Flak 😃 This is a whole new world for you to explore! A little more detail about you would help and if you go here, the types of details are outlined:

[How do I qualify for a $25 gift certificate?](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/how-do-i-qualify-for-a-25-gift-certificate/19934)

And it’s a simple thing to qualify for the GC! All the guys on here are cool and no-one is backward about coming forward. 😉 You’re in a radically different time zone, so be sure to check back - the guys will be by to help and advise you soon. But from my personal experience (which isn’t that much) you can change perceptions - you have to project what you’re aiming for, but the mones are the best amplifiers.

As a guy, you have a whole bunch of stuff to choose from - a palette and can paint a mood or vibe 😃. Read the journals that are posted here; they guys and the girls. Read the ‘stickies’ at the top of the threads for landmark experiences/experiment results.

Remember to add another post, and fill in the details that you need to - the more information the guys have, the better the guys can help/guide - and qualify for the GC! I’m on the West Coast - are you 12hours or more ahead of us?

Hi Flak and welcome!

When you purchase some pheromones they will really help to aid your vibe in a more positive way and get you noticed in your social and work environment.

The best way would be to experiment with the instant line products but buy them in the togo bottles. These pheros will easily fit in your jeans pocket so you can go mobile and they will save you cash rather than buy the regular sized pheros.

I hope you start your pheromone adventure soon and report back soon telling us about your results.

Regards
Mackie

Hi Flak, I hope you enjoy your time here. I’ve always said scent is one of the most powerful senses. With pheromones it truly is powerful, sometimes you can’t even smell them! But you definitely get the feeling something’s up.

Your own scent will consist of various pheromones alongside other stuff. Even the food you eat contributes towards your scent. Everything comes out in sweat. Things like garlic and red meats are pretty bad. Keeping hydrated with water is key to avoiding bad smelling sweat/scents. Try adding a dash of lemon or lime.

If you want to regain something you had as a younger adult, no doubt androstenone is what you want. This is mother nature’s trick on us - the older women get the more they want. The older men get the less they produce! Thus the coyote effect.

A common suggestion here for older guys is TUTH, for good reason, as it has solid androstenone levels.

I notice you are in a hot country, you lucky devil. Many people say Oil works great in hot climates. Being in gloomy England I haven’t had a chance to test this theory yet. [A314 spray](https://a314.com/product/a314-classic-spray/) or oil will definitely get you noticed, and if you’re wondering whether these products work or not - it’s probably one of the best ones alongside TUTH and IJ to go “Wow!” and settle your mind.

Thanks for the kind welcome - it’s always a bit scary joining a new forum. I am a bit shy by nature, so it takes me a while to start opening up to new people 🙂. But from what I’ve experienced so far, everybody seems incredibly friendly and helpful!

Thanks for this advice, and the fact that ‘what you project’ plays a part fascinates me. As an aside, I spent a number of years dabbling in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), basically a set of tools for improving communication and building rapport with people. In NLP, intent also comes into play as it is very ‘outcome’ focused. And there are parallels to the use of pheromones, as a big part of NLP is to work at the unconscious level, i.e. those bits that people aren’t paying attention to.

In the same way that NLP has given me some useful skills in building rapport, I’m keen to see how pheromones can augment these skills.

We’re about 19 hours ahead of the West Coast of US, so that puts us a day ahead for most of the day (if that makes sense). So that explains why my responses may be a bit delayed!

That’s great advice 🙂 I’ve seen a lot of different options for delivery, e.g sprays, oils, etc. I was wondering where to jump in, so that’s useful to know you can start with these. I guess I’m also scared of going over the top when I first start out and would like to save money too. I guess this way, I can also experiment with a wider range of pheros to see what works best?

19? I know Brisbane is 19 hrs ahead; you gotta be less 😃. But anyway, with the NLP _and_ the mones you should be able to easily re-write your “signature” on people. 🆒 This is probably the funnest forums I’ve ever been on. Certainly the only one to hold my attention this long! And I don’t see the amusement with the conversations and experiments ending any time soon!

Thanks for the tip about androstenone (now let me look that up…). Is that related to testosterone?

Surely, you jest! New Zealand has its moments, but it’s probably not as hot as you might think 🙂 Admittedly we’ve had a nice summer this year and I guess when it’s gloomy winter in UK it’s balmy summer here. You must come visit us some time!

Thanks heaps for this advice - I was looking at TUTH (to regain my lost youth 🙂 and A314 sounds great for general confidence and presence. I haven’t heard of IJ though.

Question for one and all: I notice a lot of people mention combining pheromones - how important is that? Do they work cumulatively or do they interact and produce subtly different results depending on how they are combined?

I guess my journey of discovery is about to begin!

Hmm, maybe my maths is whack! What time is it in Seattle now? It’s 6:23pm here in Auckland.

Hi Flak
When you first start using pheros it is important to get your sweet spot. Less is usually more - so start with one spray and work up gradually - if no effect 2 sprays the next day etc until you are aware of optimum effects both to yourself and other people. There is lots of info on this if you do a search.

Mixing pheros comes with experience andlots of experimenting. For example A314 on its own can be perceived as aggressive and unapproachable. Mixed with a social like IH can remove the barriers that stop people approaching. By the way A314 is a must have [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/) especially in the oil.

One more thing - make sure you have at least 2 days pheromone free a week to help refresh your neurotransmitters and to give your brain a rest. There have been many times where I have had to lay off pheros for about a month to help my body to re-adjust and recalibrate.

From What I have read I would defo go with the socials as these will help to remove any shyness. IO for increased conversation, IH for closer bonds and connections, IS to make you and people feel good. I think you will also be helped by A314 for the increase in confidence and displaying “high value” to other people.

For nightwear I would go with Ammo x2 or possibly TUTH. You will need to spend time mixing these products and finding out what works well together for your own body chemistry.

We will always be here to help you and answer any questions.

Welcome to Pherotalk Flak!

The recommendations you received were great and advise as well. I would just like to stress on using these products one by one to get a feel for them before trying combos.

In addition, if you are shy the A314 will not work as well for you but you can always work up to it by using IG or/and Ammunition which is a confidence boaster and gives off that strong, masculine vibe.

**Your gc was issued! 😉**
