Greetings everyone, I’ve been lurking the forums over a couple days and figured I’d register since I have a couple questions.

I discovered the site similarly to some other users by seeing a phero ad and curiosity got the best of me so I googled it which led me here. There’s obviously a wealth of knowledge here and I hope to learn some.

I’m a 22 year old male in a relationship that’s about to be 5 years. Of course it isn’t what it used to be when we first started dating. The lack of sex drives me nuts sometimes and what’s worse is if I try to bring up having some romance she says it’s all I think about and gets mad at the fact the I’m mad we’re not doing it! Of course I respect her and will not force her if she isn’t in the mood but now I’m lucky if it’s once a month. We’re not married and we’re both young, she’s three years younger than me, so it’s hard to understand the lack of sex drive considering how much fun we had when we were teens. It’s starting to effect our relationship.

On another note, aside from trying to heat things up in my love life, I go out often to clubs and would like to talk to more girls. Not really for relations but just to help my self confidence. Some things I pondered which may already have a thread on with [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) and clubs..

1. If you’re at a packed club, how does a female “detect” you are the one with the pheromones to strike up a conversation and not the guy you are standing next to? A lot clubs I’m at are crowded shoulder to shoulder and have a lot smoke which brings me to my next question..
2. Does cigarette smoke in the air effect the affects of the use of pheromones on your body? Are they strong enough to piece through the crowd.

I’m looking to just start off strong and get A314 and Turn up the heat as my first purchases.

I think I covered most of it, may be a little scattered and I’m sure I left stuff out. Looking forward to some answers and some advice. Thanks and appreciate!

Hi cymbalista! You are in the right place to get the answers to your questions.

First of all, we all started here as skeptics. So don’t feel bad if you’re full of doubts right now. That’s why you get a GC to start off with, so you’ll take the plunge. Soon you’ll be glad you did.

Thanks for the good introduction. It helps us know what to recommend. I am sorry to hear about the changes in your relationship, I understand the agony of a partner that is not as interested sexually as you are. It speaks volumes that you are willing to find a solution.

Ammo is a product that is androstenone based, buffered enough to be wearable anywhere. It is attractive to women, sends out a warm, sexy, charming vibe. It is a confidence booster for a lot of men.

Turn up the Heat is a product a lot of couples use in the bedroom. It is high in androstenone and must be worn with caution, expecially by younger men such as yourself. It is sexually arousing to women, although in high doses it can lead to frustration and crabbiness. Some guys wear it to clubs, etc. If you wear it too heavily it gives off a horn-dog vibe and can turn women off instead of on. So use this one cautiously.

The social products do wonders for the every-day smooth workings of a relationship. Instant Shine is an all-around feel good pheromone, it projects a feeling of fun and youthful vigor, makes people feel good to be around you.

[Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/) encourages people to open up, talk about deeper, intimate things. It extends a feeling of trust and confidence.

Thanks for the welcome! I’m really pleased over the polite welcome’s and offer’s of help from the site. Almost as if phero’s are being detected over the internet haha.
I appreciate the advice and I’m looking forward to get started. I’m debating whether to get [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) or A314 within the next couple weeks and pending I get this $25 gift certificate I will later get Turn up the heat. I will continue reading and post questions when they come up! Thanks again.

This is a really good question.

Have you ever entered a room and could immediately tell which guy it was that had that terrible BO? Well, don’t worry, you’re not going to be the guy with BO. But the scent trail of pheromones works something like that. You will leave a trail behind you, and build up a cloud of sorts when you’re still. Anyone who catches a whiff of that trail will very shortly know who it came from. And people who are in your ‘cloud’ are not going to get attention/credit for your pheros.

Have you ever been passed by two woman and could tell which one of them had on the good perfume? It’s really not that hard to tell, is it? 😉

The effective range of pheros varies, depending on temperature, humidity, scent package used for dispersion, type of phero worn, etc. It is a matter of feet, not yards. The closer someone is, the more they will be affected. I have had good hits from guys that were 6-10 feet away, but more often from people 2-5 feet away or closer.

Lots of people here use pheros when clubbing. I can’t remember reading anything about smoke hindering the dispersion of pheros, or the effectiveness of them.

Hello and welcome!

What you describe in your relationship is, quite frankly, unlikely to be solved by pheromones in my opinion. Why? Because the problem is very likely to be that the two of you are growing apart, and that may have to do with maturity levels, but is most probably a situation in which your communication is failing, or has failed. If I am right, your best bet is going to be a bottle of CTTM2, which is basically a mix of the main ingredients in [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) and Instant Honesty. It will promote open, honest communication… and if your relationship is doing what mine did when I had to deal with that, nothing will help more than spending a couple hours sitting in a car under the influence of 4-6 sprays of CTTM2, just talking. Well… possibly straight Instant Honesty. But you get more communication with CTTM2.

I’m presuming a lot, of course, but my point is that sometimes, to get to sex, you have to go through the side door, which leads to the garage, and then the kitchen, and then you get to the hall that leads to the bedroom - in other words, going straight for sexual pheromones may or may not work, but it won’t fix the reason for the situation. Communication is almost always the Golden Key. Open, honest communication.

My answers to your questions are as follows:

1. Females have two nostrils, which gives them the ability to smell in stereo, which in turn gives them the ability to detect the location of the pheromones. As long as you’re not too close to everyone else, or the wind is blowing, or someone is not standing between you and her… she’ll figure it out.
2. Cigarette smoke does affect the ability to detect and be affected by pheromones, in my experience. Usually, the dosage must be increased to get the same effect. I estimate that my necessary increase would be 25-33%. Some people disagree with me, but consider that smokers lose the ability to smell and taste as well as non-smokers can. There’s a reason for that… smoking deadens the nerves.

Any other questions you care to ask me in particular, feel free to PM me. 🙂

Thanks for clarifying. I haven’t really thought of it that way, especially with the B.O. thing lol. This makes sense to me.

Thanks for your input Catlord. I personally feel our communication isn’t suffering. We’re still lovey dovey and we go out often..which is part of the reason I’m baffled by it. We don’t argue any more than any other couple does but when it comes to sex she’ll give me the “not in the mood” speech. Then when she wants to mess around she’ll get it. I understand the pheromones won’t give me some night and day difference or some instant result…I think I’m just hoping for some improvement or a little help which is why I figured turn up the heat. Of course I’m trying to be optimistic so I’m hoping we’re not losing that flame 😕 But I will consider your CTTM2 mix.

Also thanks for answering my questions. I’m intrigued on how pheromones work and looking forward to give it a spin!
