Hello Phero Community! My name is Jonathan and I am a 28 year old graduate student applying molecular biology to the study of biofuels. I have a decent background in the study of biochemistry and was doing some reading on the current advances in pheromone research last night. After reading some of the basic science in peer-reviewed journal articles I was very interested in experimenting myself. However, like many of the posters here I found mostly scams when looking for [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) to purchase. Some of these scams are very tricky and have secondary websites that pose as impartial reviews. . . I am impressed by SmartMones cleverness to include a public forum, it is an intelligent form of marketing as well as the type of instant peer-review that exemplifies the internet working for the greater good. Also, the scientists behind the research seem to have a genuine passion. Thank you. Why am I interested in playing with pheromones? I consider my behavior very flexible and have been lucky to have good friends and rolemodels, both men and women, to model from and help me learn advantageous social skills. I am also fortunate to have an athletic build. Thus, I am very happy with people that allow my companionship. However, there is always room for improvement. There are some people in my life that seem superhumanly charismatic and attractive to others. Some aspect of this attraction just can’t be taught, whether sublte instinctual behaviors or physiological attributes, like looks. . . or pheromones. First off, I don’t have a naturally strong body odor like some of my guy friends. I can do a long sweaty cardio work out and, as verified from some of my female friends, don’t have any BO to speak of. I have always considered this a blessing! I have also eaten a vegan diet since coming of age, so a bit over 10 years, and wonder how this plays into my hormone levels. Unlike animals, plants have little to no cholesterol. Again, I always thought of this as a good thing. But cholesterol is what hormones, and I believe pheromones, are made from. Though our bodies can make cholesterol, I wonder how my diet may affect my natural pheromone levels. Of course, I also shower daily and wear like most usonians and realize this decreases the level of percieved pheromones compared to my ancestral counterparts (lol). For any seasoned (pardon the pun) pheromone users that might provide some advice. I am interested in pheromone use for two main reasons. First off, I hope that my career is headed towards professorship at a major university. I am extremely passionate about my work and spend over 60 hours a week in the lab or office. However, achievement in this career is extremely political. As my Dad says about all careers, “It’s all about people”. An edge on my charismatic effect on the people around me would be great. If people notice they feel great when they are around me, then I would expect that they would do what they can to keep me around. The other reason is romantic. I’ve been so lucky to have some really amazing women in my life for multi-year relationships. I have also done my share of casual dating. I have found that the casual dating has lost its sparkle. However, I really would like to avoid getting in serious relationships with someone that I respect, but I know from the start will not be the one. I assume that many people would criticize my current approach, but it is where I am at. I am really looking for an exceptional woman to be with. I will save you from getting into the details, but I know what I want and it isn’t common at all. And the hardest part may not be just finding women to this absurd standard, but somehow meeting their mark as well. While I can create a good body, healthy lifestyle, good natured, positive and compassionate attitude, respectable and well paying career ect., if a major component of attraction is pheromonal I can’t simply will a change. Without sounding too egotistical, I’m not looking for pheromones to make me a player, I think my skill in the art has made that possible. I am looking for help using pheromonal assistance to achieve my highest possible potential. To anyone who made it throught all that, you are truly an empathetic person and thank you for your interest. I would whole-heartedly appreciate any advice on moving forward with these new experiments. Hi Jonathon, welcome to the forum! Great intro, you provide lots of information in detail. First, I’d like to suggest you try Ammo, it attracts ladies and will help with dating. Also consider Instant Shine (enhances your aura of charisma) and Instant Honesty (gets people chatty on a deep level). You may also want ot consider A314 for your lab and office. It will give you a fatherly aura of charisma that will add to your status there. You can layer it with [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) for great effect. Hello and welcome to the forum. I know these products can help you with your two main endeavors. I would read up on Gegogi’s posts. He is a professor in a Universtiy and you can certainly learn from him. For work you can go two rountes: A314 is the traditional respect product but you may need to temper it with something like IH or Instant Shine. Another route is to use [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/). Read the thread in my signature block about these two. As for romance Ammo is the flagship product here. Combined with any of the three products I mentioned above, you could well be unstoppable. Just watch the romances with the students … lol. Hope all this helps some. ---

Robbie, Thanks for the advice on which to try. I utilize forums extensively for other interests and work and nothing is more irritating that a newbie that doesn’t bother to get themselves up to speed by reading the existing threads!! I also came to the conclusion from the threads that A314 would be good for the work environment. I’m thinking that [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) will be good for specific instances at work, for instance on meeting and presentation days. On days when I just need to keep my head down doing complicated experiments and don’t want to have a lot of conversation with my colleagues A314 alone might be good. I should also mention that there is a woman at work who very much dislikes me. I recognize it is my fault, I contradicted her publicly at a conference dinner, a stupid move from me having a couple too many, and now I’m split bad with her. There may also be some sexual tension there also because she is ultra-concerned with her attractiveness and ten years older. The most important thing I have done to improve our relationship is treat her with respect and bend to even her silliest complaints telling her, “I really appreciate your feedback because most people are afraid to be so honest and it will ultimately really help me out, thank you.” Despite my best effort she makes work very difficult at times by going directly to superiors about every little thing. My bosses, thankfully, see through it as my behavior has gotten uber-bad ass professional and her complaints become more an more petty. Think it might be funny to experiment with TUTH around her to potentially get her confused about her feeling about me. Realistically I’m guessing the A314 blended with professional dress and behavior will be best to improve my status with this person making it easier for me to be effective. From other experience on the forum, I was also thinking AMMO might be a bit much for work and I would try it for afterwork and weekends. Instant Shine seems to get positive results in lots of situations from many users, so I will certainly try that to up the charisma! Hmmm - interesting to hear more … The only thing I would mention is that IO can generate a LOT of chatter. Often very train of thinking type of chatter. That is why I prefer IH - it helps create feelings of connection and often deeper conversation. Maybe a little better in your setting. I know Gegogi has compained about studetns with major motor mouth. The iH may also help smooth things with that female colleague. Of course if you want to mess with her you have some interesting routes. TUTH is definitely one but it may also backfire if male colleagues start to perceive you as a threat. But dosing yourself with TUTH and getting friendly aggressive with her - standing almost threatening close while saying nothing but nice things - and staying in her personal space when she tries to back away (I have done this to people I do not like - but I am over 6’) - has worked well. Just wipe it off when she goes and runs to cowrkers or the boss. Also read up in Renny’s journal - he has experimented with different products in the classroom also. May give you some good ideas. ---

For my first order I plan to get: **A314** - Primarily for work, also for play mixed with [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) once I get some experience. I like the fact that it is reported to have balancers to smooth out the effect of -nones alone. **Ammo** - Primarily as stand-alone for after work and weekends. Seems like the “industry-standard” type of product for recreation. **Instant honesty** \*\* to go\*\* - would like to try this at first by itself for work when I know I will be socializing, for instance during group meeting and my thesis proposal defense coming up. Will also try it in social settings outside work. **Instant shine** \*\* to go\*\* - same application as instant honesty above. Then once I experiment with individual effects I will try using other experience to make educated mixes to elicit desired effects (i.e. Ammo + A314, A314 + IH/IS or Ammo + IH/IS). I realize noobs have a tendency to go overboard at the start. heh. Also, I’m going to hold off on TUTH heat for now. I might easily OD with TUTH and I’m really not trying to shag some hottie who will only get her feeling hurt when she realizes I’m not going to be her girlfriend (sick of that guilt without the phero help). I can’t wait till I can afford to get some of the exotics like the putatives. Also wondering if copulins might help increase my testosterone level and help me gain muscle mass. I make my own lip balm with beeswax, olive oil and herbs and am thinking I could add copulins so that they would be right below my nose but not sending such a strong signal to everyone around me. I could even work out an approximate dose using some weigh paper wiped with the lip balms on the analytical scale. Would probably keep me even more sprung than I already am too! But I’m getting ahead of myself .. . ---

Well Hello there Jonathan, Welcome to Pherotalk 🙂 I think you may enjoy this site even more then you first anticipated seeing your profession choice. This is a great site for promotion but its more for research and development of new molecules. Once you get accustomed to the consumer products take a look at the advanced section. The putatives are for members to test and report behavior changes in themselves and others. It can be interesting as well as useful and fun. If you choose to be active in the forum and report on your products you can become a member of the Reporting users panel and get discounts on the advanced products. Some of those discounts are pretty big to. I think you made some great first choses. I would suggest some IFM to go with it for that girl at work you that dislikes you.
