hey! I’m a 20 year-old college student that recently moved to Puerto Rico knowing no Spanish at all. I’ve found that the language/culture barrier has really taken away a lot of my confidence/just all around ability to feel sexy when I go out now. hey, thanks for the suggestion that was one of the two I was thinking of. And I mean, I used to be a very outgoing, talkative person (not terribly feminine) but not being able to fully express myself in the native language has made me more timid/shy than usual, especially when it comes to approaching men. I’m looking for something I could wear both to school or a night out at the bar too if that’s possible. ---

Thanks for the info! That can’t be easy, just plopping yourself into a totally new culture like that! Whatever drove you to do it? I have a relative-in-law who is Puerto Rican, and she tells me that there is a lot of competition between women to be hot and gorgeous and well-dressed, at least among PR women. And my experience of Latin men is that they have the macho thing going on, though there must be exceptions, as there are to everything. And if you have light hair and light eyes, they’ll looove you, lol. I do have some suggestions that will ease your social integration.
