I’m a 31yr old male from TN and new to the forum.

I do have a question about TUTH (turn up the heat).

I used 1 spray on my chest last night to see how it would affect my wife. This was the first time I’ve used it. I thought the fragrance might be weird since it was late and we had already taken our showers, but she didn’t say anything. Anyways, I made sure to get close to her in bed and lean over her while we were on our laptops, but she didn’t have any reaction. Is this normal? What could be an explanation? I didn’t try to use any seduction or bring up anything sexual b/c I wanted to see how she reacted without influence. Nothing.

It’s not unusual for you not to get a reaction during the first few times you wear pheros. There are several reasons for this, and here are some for you to consider:

It takes a little time to find your “sweet spot” or optimum dose. Generally, you should try one spray each day for a few days, then go up to two, etc. until you find what gets you the most ‘hits’ or reactions. It may be that you did not use enough last night to get her attention.

Another possible reason is that your wife is already intimately aware of your pheromone signature, and may have subconsciously dismissed the new [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) as an anomaly, or have been so confused by them that she did not react in the way you were hoping. I know that personally, when I wear pheros, my husband does not react to the sexually-based ones unless we are alone. He gets confused and irritated if I have one sexual pheros when we are in a mixed group. To him, it subconsciously triggers a need to protect what is his, instead of being attractive to him. Everyone is different, and the reactions you get while depend on who is inhaling your phero cloud. Your wife may need repeated exposure to adjust to the pheros.

Tell us more about you if you’re trying to qualify for the gift certificate.
What’s your personality like? Are you outgoing or more shy?
What do you hope to gain from pheromone use?
Where/how do you plan to use them? for personal use at home as described above, for business, out with friends… etc.
Once we know more about you we can make some suggestions as to products you’ll enjoy.

Thanks. I’ll keep experimenting.

Wearing TUTH under your shirt is something for the young guys who need to restrict its diffusion significantly. By the time you hit your thirties and especially if your partner is of similar age, your none production will be less, whilst she has likely matured and become responsive to a higher dose - So you need to get it out there on skin to diffuse.

And also remember that she is already quite used to your natural phero signature, so may need a bit of time to adapt to your new one.

My wife and I have a wonderful sex life, so maybe she wouldn’t even react to a [sexual pheromone](https://a314.com/product-category/sensual-pheromones/) in the context of laying in bed on a week night. Perhaps she would react to TUTH if we were out of the house doing things, etc.

I just received TUTH, AMMO, & A314 in the mail a few days ago. They are all new to me. I experimented with pheromones about 11 yrs ago with a different company and I always felt that they worked. I’m excited to start using them again.

I will say that I’ve gotten a reaction from my sister-in-law on 2 occasions this week from AMMO and A314. She gets very talkative and “smiley” around me, which is not her normal behavior. So that’s cool.

Oh and by the way, what does “none” refer to?

The phero Androstenone - Its the main sexual phero and the primary component of TUTH.

At its most general, our highest natural production of Androstenone is in our late teens and after that, it slowly falls as we age - Which is why young guys very often need a much smaller dose compared to guys in their 30s or even at my age.

Meanwhile, again at its most general, a woman is most sensitive to none in her youth and very high or unmoderated (by other pheros) doses can go down poorly and again, her tolerance increases as she ages. Other situational factors and the point in her menstrual cycle also have implications on how positively none will be accepted.

This is why a bit of testing and trying different combos to see what suits both of you best is sometimes needed. 🙂

Thanks for explaining. I’m familiar with androstenone. I’d never heard of the short slang for it. Thanks for the input!

> Here is a description of all of these found on another site and as a newB I found it to be very helpful: Androstenone (a.k.a -none, Anone): Signals dominance and aggression, quite competitive. -none is often associated with a sexual response, but by no means exclusively. Androstenol (a.k.a -nol, Anol): Signals youth, and sociability, often induces lots of talking, friendliness and comfort. As it often seems to cause conversation, it can be a good ice breaker.
