Hi, I’m new on the forum here, though I have read quite a bit on here already. There’s a ton of information, you all seem to know everything about [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/)! It’s all a little hard to sift through to get at the underlying information that I’m looking for sometimes, since it’s a forum for discussion as opposed to a repository of information like an encyclopedia. I was wondering if anyone could suggest any reading for me that might help me really understand pheromones so I can get the right stuff for me. I’ve tried a few things, and I’ve definitely noticed results, but I seem to get wildly different reactions from people that I have similar relationships with, and I want to really understand why, so that I can customize my pheromones for different people. But I don’t even know where to start to learn. ---

Thank you so much, that’s perfect. I just got to the “every question” post, so that’ll probably take a while, but well worth it so far. After I read everything you posted about, I’ll probably go to the library and find some books on evolutionary psychology. I’m an engineer so psychology isn’t exactly my strong suit. I had some A314, and I loved the affects, but I just ran out and apparently there’s no more…hopefully that ends soon. I also have instant shine, and I can definitely feel positive self effects, which is cool. I like to wear that to work, and people definitely seem to be in a better mood when they’re around me for a while. I also have turn up the heat and AMMO, which I use for nights out. Usually ammo to go out, and turn up the heat for later in the night. But apparently those are all androstenone. After doing some heavy reading here, I think I’ve always been an androsterone guy, not an androstenone guy. So I don’t know if it would be better for me to try to increase my -none or just stick with -rone to work better with my natural pheromones. Quick question: I’ve seen a lot of people talking about -none overdose resulting in repultion, but not really for over pheromones. Can I reasonably OD on -Rone? I just ordered some instant gentleman to replace A314 until I can get more of that, and from what I’ve read I gather that IG and A314 are both -Rone based. Do I need to worry about using too much of them? ---

Nope. You don’t need to worry, as long as you can provide some ample time for testing. We call it here the “sweetspot” hunting. OD happens too when you are sweetspot hunting but since it’s part of your personal experiment, those OD’s will always be a source of additional and illuminating experience for your own pheromone journey’s good. I forgot the link but maybe a quick work-out with the blue Search button may lead you to the proper threads discussing sweetspot hunts. Also a mix of the two is always being reported having some very good results. A314 + TUTH and IG + TUTH. You just need to understand your sweetspot, and boom! Testing, testing and more testing is the key if you are looking to create nuanced mixes to target individual people. However, you don’t just test on them, the wider you test, the better you get to understand how any particular phero works for you and as wide a range of other people as possible. So this learned, you can now begin to apply them to a specific person and their range of individual traits. Also, before you get into the expensive and possibly prolonged testing of single molecules, you should spend some time with the consumer products first - this will help you get the hang of the basics of phero use and dosing, your regular reports (good or bad) on them will help you on the road to gaining Reporting User status, which will make things a lot cheaper and you may just find that these products themselves make very good bases for further steering/mixes. 🙂 But if you want some molecules for targeting individuals, I would suggest that as well as your choice of of cinsumer products, you get some [P83](https://a314.com/product/p83/), P74, and P96 at around 10mcg per spray dosage and some P75 at 2.5mcg - This will give you some pretty effective mix potential with some of the most effective/best understood of the more advanced molecules here. 🙂 ---

Ok thanks, I’ll look into those, though I probably won’t order any putatives until I have a better handle on the consumer line stuff. I also have a 4 pack of pure androstenol, androstenone, androsterone and androstadienone that I got before I found androtics direct. I don’t know if I’m even going to use it, though, after reading so much on here about buffers and guiding molecules etc that are in all the consumer products from androtics. ---

Well just a heads up you can always put those items up for sale in the lounge section and am sure someone will buy them if you don’t think you will use them.
