Hey everyone, I’m Shannon, from Houston, Texas. I’m a 38 year old female software developer/web designer. I seem to have a lot of problems attracting men. I’m not unattractive, I’ve been told I’m pretty but come across as remote even when I’m not trying to be. I’ve been wanting to try a [pheromone product](https://a314.com/shop/), and the first one I tried was sold by one of those “feminine” toy companies. I did have some reactions to it, and it did make me feel pretty good… so I’m thinking that they work in some ways. So, I decided to do some research, maybe do some testing of some other products, and came across this community and thought I’d join up! ---

Hi there Shannon! Welcome to the mone forum! A software engineer, great!!! Need some methodical mone users around here. 🙂 Well, a thank you for joining up! I think, from your description, you can use [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) for having that feeling of being at ease with you. I like the way it makes others at ease around me. I think that this with IO, which just gets me all willing and ready to talk to anyone with others just opening up to me. These mones do work, though, because of the heat and humidity in your neck of the woods, your effective duration may decrease. They are alcohol based with a default Neroli scent. Just keep an eye on that… you may need to reapply within possibly 3 hours… You’ll be the best judge of there effectiveness once you start using them. To help out in the use of mones, I’d suggest you readup on Steve O’s Intro to Mones and Tisha’s, how to tell what is a (mone) hit on my sig below. Get you a good overview of mones. ---

I second his warm welcome and his advice. One of the most useful parts about this website is the search function found at the top of the webpage. It has answered a lot of questions for me in the past, and I still use it every day or so when a pheromone related question pops into my head. If I were you, I would get some IS for the happy feeling it gives people and either IO or IH. IO will make people chatty where as IH will create a deep bonding feeling with people. If others feel that you are distant, perhaps this will change things. This is a wonderful community filled with people who can teach you how to use [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) and will help you get what you are after. Just be mindful that pheromones don’t do all the work. You can’t be a wallflower and expect men to jump all over you just because you are wearing pheromones. The good news is that you can be involved in life and have a better time wearing pheromones than otherwise. Whatever you decide to get, I suggest starting a journal in the women’s section. You will be able to go back and read all of your experiences and see how your pheromone usage has changed. Good Luck! ---

Welcome to Pherotalk Shay! I find that so many women come here because they feel that they do not attract the opposite sex. If you spend enough time here and do some good reading especially in the men section you will see most times that the men are too afraid to approach especially if they feel the ladies are attractive and out of their league. This in turn makes the women feel that something is wrong with them.
