hey everyone!! i’v been lurking around this place for a while now, and i have to say there are many informative posts and everyone seem so friendly, nice n supportive. so i decided to join. anyway here’s a lil about me: age: just turned 24 gender: male (hehe) race: asian blood type: A (A for Alpha 😃) height: 181cm i’m currently a full time uni student doing an engineering(software)/law degree, and i work part time. i’m from Sydney btw. ok here’s the story of how i found out about this place: one day i was doing some uni work on my laptop, and i got extremely bored so i started surfing the web for random crap, while i was checking out some porn sites i accidently stumbled onto this forum. now i’v known about [pheromone products](https://a314.com/shop/) for a long time but never really thought too much of them, but this place got me extremely interested in some of its products… I did some research on the topic, background, history, scientific research etc, i also read a lot of journals and articles about pheromone studies(i’m a fast reader thanx to my thesis literature research), I’v read both sides of the argument, for pheromone and against it, and it really got me thinking. there are a lot of things in life which science cannot explain or prove without a doubt (like we only use 10% of our brain etc), and maybe this is one of them. and i guess the key question everyone wants to know could “artifically” produced pheromone really work for us humans?? in a DEFINITE (non-placebo) way? maybe we will never know… but hey…even placebo effect is better than nothing, if my subconcious mind could convince me it works, then the increased confidence is really not a bad result afterall, maybe this is what this product is all about?? who knows… the point is, I’ll NEVER know the truth until i try it, and the “success” posts on this forum has definitely convinced me there is a chance this product will work. So i finally decided to give this a try, well why the heck not, i’m bored anyway lol…maybe this product could turn me into a new person, give me more confidence, we will see. **why i wanna try this product?** 1. life is boring and under stress most of the time(especially for a uni student doing a combined software engineering law degree) 2. I’m not very good when it comes to talking with women, I get a little nervous (especially around hot chicks lol). so yea i’m a little shy around girls, you could even say i’m a shy guy, but i’m definitely not anti-social, actually i love spending time with people, and chatting in general (not online chatting tho, ditched that habit AGES ago, dun ask why). I do get quite a few IOIs (eye contacts, smiling) from time to time (some of them are pretty attractive too), but me always too chicken to do anything about it 😠, the most i did was smile back, but i never had the courage to go up and talk to the girl, and afterwards when i thought about it I always wanna kick myself in the balls (although thats pretty hard to do). 3. gain more respect and for things to go more smoothly, like the way i wanted them to be ( i do a lot of presentation, group work, group collaboration, team projects etc..), and later on during the year i’ll also go for my job interviews etc ok, a little more info about me (for those who have read thus far): I consider myself fairly good looking, well-groomed, and reasonably-intelligent, I have good skin complexion and I workout 4-5 times a week all year round no matter how busy i get, and i’m “nice” towards most people and I’v never made any enemies etc. long story short, at the moment i’m considering Ammo as its highly recommded as a stand-alone (well-balanced), the simpler the better as i’m a lazy guy and time is never on my side, spray n go = good 🙂 I’m also considering getting socials, at the moment i’m torn between Instant Shine and Instant Openness, I’ll probably get Instant shine due to its more “obvious” positive effect (like i said uni is stressful). I initially also considered A314, but I see some people here suggest leave that till later. and from i read, A314 always works and the effects are good, more respect from ppl and gives a james bond feel roflmao. **what kind of environment will i use the product in??** mostly around campus, at uni, in the mall etc. I don’t club very often (you can probably imagine why), and to be honest i don’t really like the scene, plus some of them are smoky and noisy (I don’t smoke and drink), and the girls there are usually not my type (with exceptions of course). I’m actually not very picky when it comes to girls, they don’t have to be super hot or super intelligent, like i said my main problem is i’m not the very very social type who goes around and says Hello to random people (but thats about to change when i get these stuff, placebo effect lol). I think one of the main reason i’m the way I am now (shy around girls) is because i grew up in a male dominant environment, I grew up with my dad most of my life, and i went to an all-boys high school for 6 years during the most important and life-changing part of my life (all male friends), and right now the course i’m doing at uni, mostly guys =, somestime i feel i’m lacking something and I almost KNEW if i make the first move i would have a good success rate but somehow i just can’t…😠 ok that’s about it, I better get back to my uni work now, and i will check back on here after a few hours. any feedback or recommandations will be highly appreciated. ciao, Brad ---

hi k24, welcome to the forum. what a way to find this forum but I assure you you will enjoy your stay here. whether it is placebo effect, you can threads here as there are posted by real user. for stress, i can recommend [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) as it can lift your mood. If you are no good in mixing with girls, try social pheros like io, ih. definitely make girls want to talk to you. for respect and work, you can use A314. it is my favourite too. if you have any question, just ask. have fun ---

Welcome Brad! Now that was a loooong introduction post! 🙂 I think you’ve already made a great choice with Ammo. Out of the socials I’d go for Instant Shine and in your case [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) as it may help you chatting up women. One of the big advantages of A314 and it’s spray forms is the feeling of greater confidence, which might also help you to chat up the girls. Hey Brad, Wow, are you ever prepared! I think you get the prize for best intro post! 😃 It sounds like you’ve got all it takes to succeed with pheros (or anything else) … looks, smarts, insight, that lovely self-deprecating wit … all you need is a little push to get you to make that first move, as you say. And if placebo effect can do that for you, why not?! But in fact there’s more at work here than placebo, as you’ll soon find out. For you, I would recommend IO over [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) (I find more people respond to IO) and Ammo I would get for _sure_. Instead of A314 I’d say to get IG (as a social product; for work I’d go with A314) - it works better for younger guys since its vibe is less sober and serious. thanx guys and Carrie!! appreciate your posts 😃 I will definitely consider IO now that you mentioned more people respond to that, and i think it would be a good choice too 🙂 I understand the main problem with newbies like me or anyone else is the large amount infomation available on the internet(most of them misleading) and the choices can be overwhelming at first. Even at this site, there are so many products aimed at different purposes and you’ll never know what kind of effect its goin to have on you (if any at all) until you try it. and then there are other factors such as dosage, mixture, age, mood, room temperature, humidity, genetics all play a part…plus the fact that its almost impossible not to be skeptical considering the nature of these type of products. I’m just trying to be as informed as possible when it comes to making a decision like this 😛 oh yea i will have fun @ this place, no doubt about that. 😃 ---

Hello Welcome to Pherotalk 🙂 Great intro, I agree with Carrie and would go with the IO over the Ishine right now. Definatly get AMMO as it really is a well balanced good all round product. A314 is more for upping the status but it dosnt alwasy attract well as Carrie mentioned. IG is a great alternative. ok cool I will definitely include IO in my order, let’s hope the openness will be instant 😃 just one quick question, I know ammo is used as a stand-alone colonge, and some people say it smells good, but what about IO?? what kind of scent does it use?? I’v heard some products such as Turn up the heat smells like piss to some women. ---

The entire Instant line comes in neroli scent (smells like essential oil of orangeblossom) which is quite light, sharp and unisex (men say it smells feminine, women say it smells masculine - which when you think about it is a good thing for heterosexuals at least, no? Women will smell it on you and think it smells fine). When I say it’s light, I mean you can spray 6-8 times and not be _cologne guy_, which you could not do with [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) since the cologne scent in that is stronger. I have not smelled TUTH yet (next order, heheh) but I hear it has some kind of spicy scent added to it and I’ve seen a bunch of reports from women here saying they like how it smells. Men tend to dislike the smell of 'none, by the way (heteros anyway), saying it smells like piss. Straight women overall tend to like it, particularly when they’re ovulating. There are exceptions - very young women, some Asian women (not all). I think he’s still a musician 🙂 here’s a little search I did, hope you’ll find some interesting stuff here. Lots of times people just say Asian, but there are so many differences between the different groups/cultures vis a vis how they relate to androstenone. More 'none goes with youth, race (Africans are said to have most; I’ve known some Hispanic Americans who have plenty also, Caucasians in the middle, East Asians are said to have least), fitness/how muscled up you are, perhaps other factors too. Not sure on the sweating, that may have a correlation too. I would start with regular Ammo and see how you like it before going with heavy Ammo - maybe post this question in the men’s forum for more specific recommendations on that. ---

Hi Heather, yup, very cool people, and you are one of them 🙂 cool hair style too lol. bsassy: I sometimes ask myself that question too, and it’s laughable huh…i’m so pathetic with women, sometimes i even laugh at myself, all my mates think it’s strange too…you are right, what gives huh?? what i do find is that most girls don’t really care about good looks or how “nice” you are (maybe just a little bit, but on the surface level). girls like guys with confidence, attitude, the ability to make great conversation and make them feel deeply attracted to you, some people call it “the game”, blah blah…now believe it or not I can actually do all those (been there done that), but the thing is when i’m around say a hot girl, i can’t…i get a little nervous(for various reasons i mentioned before), and a girl can actually tell if you are not 100% confident. next time you walk on the street or around campus, pay attention to the couples, ever wonder why you see so many “average looking” guys with really hot chicks, you probably think those guys are \*\*\*\* rich, but in reality thats often not the case, its because they have experience, if you live in a female dominant environement, surrounded by female friends, you will have confidence around them, simple as that. so maybe i hope these stuff could give me a boost of confidence, and maybe a little edge with the pheromone as well, we will see. sometimes i feel so close…yet so far… ---
