# Hello! I am 40 and from Buffalo, NY and new to pheromones. Been trying to research them, and so far this seems like the best place, with lots of Information. I already have an idea of which products I am interested in, so now it is the reading on properly using them in appropriate situations. I am looking at the togo sizes at the moment. Mainly AMMO, Instant Shine, [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/), and TUTH. I also may get the A314 spray (1.32B). Still on the fence though and am hoping to get some additional insight on where to really start. The TUTH would be used in a more intimate setting of course. Is the AMMO a good start? as I do like to go out the the bars still. Also, I like to wear regular cologne, such as Drakkar, Armani Code, and Curve, would these still be OK to wear, or would it be too overbearing or conflicting? Hello and welcome to the forums! If you are unsure and want to try out togo versions, I would go with the newbie starter pack. They contain all of them for a good price, plus you will certainly get a GC which makes it even cheaper. Ammo is a really good start for clubbing and meeting girls. I use A314 in a more work setting and to gain trust, its more giving a more serious vibe. [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) is giving you that happy vibe and makes you the face of the party, IO will make people talk like they are your best friends and TUTH will give that feeling of sexiness. If I combine Ammo with TUTH then girls will like me but also get that feeling of sexual attraction (hot & sexy). I quit using regular cologne. The smell that I get from the Ammo is already strong enough and the distinct smells also tell me what I am currently smelling like. The regular colognes mask those smells and then you don’t know if the person is still smelling the pheromones or just you. I know some experienced people use a mix of their favourite pheromones with their own cologne, but if I just do a smell test with a small dosage and quick dispersion then most girls always tend to prefer Neroli over the other smells for some weird unknown reason. ---

Right now, it is more to get my confidence back, get back into the swing of things. It has been a while since I was in the dating world. The places I go are for the most part women close to my age, but there are a few nice younger women who come in. I have always had a hard time trying to pick up women because I tend to be on the quiet side. ---

A314 and TUTH-based mixes will probably do better with women around your age as they tend to bemore tuned-in to an overt sexual/status vibe. Younger ones will probably do better with Ammo and more social/less mature status mixes but from their mid 20s, and particualrly over 30, the liking for balls-out stuff becomes more apparent. 🙂 Ammo is in a near-cologne strength by itself and you won’t be covering that with any cologne. The rest are in light scents that are perfectly suitable for use with good colognes and Armani Code and Akuto are a superb paring. 🙂 If talking to women is an issue, you should also investigate [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/), IO and MX297 - all of which help a lot with sociability. IS complements just about everything but don’t use IO or MX297 with A314 as they confuse/conflict quite badly. TUTH/IO and TUTH/MX297 are both good around younger women too. 🙂 ---

Thank you for the information. As I am reading various threads throughout the sight I am starting to get more of an idea of what I am looking for. I was definitely going to get the [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) and IO, as well as at least the AMMO. As for the A314, which would be better for me in the opinion of more experienced folks here, the Alpha or Beta version of it? The TUTH I would only use with some women I already know that I know I am on a more intimate relationship with currently. ---
