My name is Tricia, I’m 19 years old and live in the DC Metropolitan area. I always found pheromones interesting when kept reading about [pheromone perfumes](https://a314.com/shop/) it was something that I had to see for myself. I also find other people’s experiences with pheromones pretty interesting. So my question is: Because we know or believe that pheromones can make people more receptive to us, how much of the “effect” we see of pheromones (i.e. friendly smiles, attention, etc.) a result of more confidence from that belief or the pheromone itself? ---

Hi there, tricia, and a welcome to you to the mone forum. Glad you posted up your question and thoughts here in the intro section. So, that would be the placebo effect. Basically, this substance, the mones, with no known effect, given to you to reinforce your expectations to get the suggested results. This is a factor that needs to be taken into consideration when using mones. I personally have tried some blind testing with [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) only scent, 6% perfumers, IShine, and IO with a 6% Neroli carrier, as the options. I could tell EVERY TIME when I was using a mone laced product as opposed to the Neroli only bottle. The IShine would get a smile pulling up on the corners of my mouth or the IO would have me talking my thoughts outloud, like I needed to COMMUNICATE, even if it was to myself. Of course, this is only my personal testing with mones and you may find that it has more or less of an impact on you. The use of IO and IH as testing mone products are great to see that mones DO work. Tell us a bit about yourself and where you’d like to take these mones out for a test drive? ---

Hello Tricia and welcome to the forum. Well I am sure it is a little bit of both. Do the [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) really work. Yes they do. Without a doubt. Are they magic and make women fall out of trees into my lap. Heck no. They give me an edge in social situations but it is up to me to take advantage of that edge. And in some cases they might do you no good at all. Human relations are very complex and very contextual. Will just wearing them make some people feel more confident? I am sure they do quite often with people who are a little shy. Does that make them better able to take advantage of the edge the products give them? It sure does - people love confident people. Not arrogant, but confident. And I know sure some people put these products on and suddenly start really paying attention to people around them and really notice behaviors. Some of those behaviors may have been there before and some may be due to the pheros. No way of telling sometimes. And certainly some guys think every smile from a girl means she wants them when she was just happy or being polite. Or smiling and hoping they would go away. Soon. I saw one study that says guys tend to think women like them more then they do. The women are just being friendly and polite. But if every guy thought that all the women around them were just being friendly and polite but were not interested, the human race would come to a screeching halt. So it is actually in the best interests of everyone for guys to think most women are interested so they will have the courage to meet women until the find the one who really is. ---

So I received TAL in the mail and I can’t wait to go on a date and try them out.. hopefully sometime this week!!
