I just wanted to follow protocol and introduce myself! I’m a semi-none newbie, with some past experience with Pherlure. Worked well, then again it may have been a placebo effect! 🙂 About to pull the trigger on several items including Instant Jerk, Instant Shine, [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/) and a spray vial of A314 A. Very exciting about entering the forbidden garden and sharing some stories! I’m 27, male and from the UK. ---

Hi Duke Hunt - Welcome to Pherotalk. :)Good to see another from the UK here and I hope you are about to find that ADs products are far better and more consistant than Pherlure and its ilk. :)It would indeed be good if you have a good read of the threads linked above - as this will gice you a good grounding in effective phero use, earn you your GC and give us the sort of info we can offer better advice on. 🙂 ---

Thanks for the warm welcome boys! I’ve actually read all the stickies and I’ve slowly been over the last few weeks going through most of the threads of interest (over 100 pages in already). **@ Pagodeiro** To answer your questions: _ **.. how did you find this site?** _ I was reminiscing about a time years ago, when I tried Phelure, so I was curious to see what else was out there. Through a bit of Googling I came across this site. _ **what do you expect from using Pheromones.** _ Just like vitamins/supplements are no a substitute for a good clean diet and lifestyle, they’re just that supplements and not substitutes. I’m entering this with the same mind set. I’m under no grand illusions of their effects, I’m just looking for the _icing on the cake_ so to speak. _ **what do you think Pheromones can do for you …** _ Time will tell! 🙂 I feel that if they do exactly what they say they do, then they’ll give me that slight edge and finishing touch which I’m looking for. Which will slowly over time, fill in any social holes (no pun intended!) which I may have naturally. * * * what is your personlity like .. are you more shy or are you more outgoing ? \*\*\* I’m very outgoing and I’d say I’m more reserved than shy. I’ve never been one to be that loud center of attention, although I can be at times when I drink. Alcohol does bring out another side in me for sure. I’ve been described as having a quiet confidence, but I can get very lively and talkative when I’ve had a few drinks or if I’m comfortable around the people I’m with. Definitely the sort of person that asks good open ended questions and listens more than they talk. _ **how are you perceived by others .. ?** _ Difficult to answer to be honest, depends on who you ask! Some will say sweet, charming, funny, cocky and attractive. Some will say I’m an arrogant asshole 🙂 I’m definitely perceived as quiet though, but then again people are pleasantly surprised when I open up and get to know me. So in that respect a little bit mysterious to most. _ **do you do sports ?** _ I work out seriously, I wouldn’t consider myself a bodybuilder per say in the typical sense, but I’m quite tall (6ft) and I’m muscular and lean. I’ve been training in Martial arts off and over a period of 10 years, including the latest which is Muay Thai. \*\*\*Would you mind to tell us why you´re planning on getting [IJ](https://a314.com/product/instant-jerk/) and Instant Shine and [IH](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/)[and A314](https://a314.com/product/a314-classic/) ? \*\*\* **IJ:** Mainly because it’s in my personality and nature to jump right into the deep end! I’m still slightly skeptical (as I’m sure most first timers are) as to whether or not these products actually do what they’re claimed to do. I liked the fact that the description states that this is the pheromone to use if you’re still dubious and want concrete proof that this gear works. **Instant Shine:** Due to my size and quiet reserved nature, I can sometimes come across to some as arrogant (which I’m not) or intimidating. I’m hoping that this will buffer that (the self effects sound nice too), plus I’ve read and seen that this is a staple is most peoples rotations. **[Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/):** Opening people and starting conversations and building rapport has never really been an issue for me. I like the concept of IH being more i\*cing on the cake \*for me. **A134:** Just like IS, this seems to be another constant staple is most peoples rotations. Hence my reason for purchasing. I like what I’ve read and more than anything this is an experimental phase for me, to see what works for me and what doesn’t. The circles I move in generating an aura of an alpha male with wealth and class _ala_ James Bond will definitely be a good thing! ---

That looks to be a good well thought out set of reasons there and IME, you are bang-on to view pheros as being the icing on the cake when taken with other forms of self-improvement - That is exactly how I found them to work. 🙂 My only other suggestions would be: [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) - Well rounded social/sexy/confident/masculine. Contains a fifth of the none of IJ plus equal proportions of balancing pheros, so its good in most social situations. Superb complement to IS. IO - Promotes flowing conversation - helps get both of you out of your shells Like IS, it can be used alone, or alongside Ammo (or IJ). IS/IO can also be used together (and with Ammo or IJ) or with IH but that is a lot of betanol, which can get a bit giddy! IG - when they get it back in stock. A smooth/suave status mix but much lighter than A314. If you are fit/built and quiet/reticent, the heavy status vibe of A314 can be mistaken as being remote/intimmidating and standoffish, or make women feel they can’t cuddle-up to you. IG won’t do this. And IJ ought to prove the veracity of pheros from your first outing - Just don’t go into a rough pub with it first time out! 😮 :o ---

Thanks for the advice 🙂 **Ammo:** I’ve read that Ammo can be a bit hit or miss, but I’m willing to try it for sure. I have heard that it apparently has it’s own strong cologne scent to it. That’s something I’m looking to avoid since I’m a perfume junkie, so I definitely don’t want something clashing with what I’m wearing! **IO:** I originally planned on purchasing IO, but I read that IS basically does the same thing, hence the reason for going for IH. **IG** : I’ll purchase a bottle once it’s back in stock. I’ve heard this is a good one for the younger crowds correct? ---

IS is quite different to IO - At its simplest, IO won’t change the mood of any conversations you get into wheras IS will unquestionably steer things in the fun/happy direction. Ammo and indeed all none-based pheros can be hit or miss, depending on the individuals concerned and factors like age and social situation/appropriateness. However I would say it is generally better tolerated than IJ, which due to its very strong none signature will alienate a very significant amount of people. However, the spectactular nature of its successes tend to offset that somewhat! Yes - IG and indeed all the socials are good with younger people - esp women, whos none tolerance tends to rise as they age. The other effect of the socials is to stimulate the basket of feelings that conspire to create full-on attraction. Which is better than bludgeoning them with none! ---

As for Ammo’s scent - Yes, the standard scent, F21 is a subject of contention and although it works very well at diffusing the pheros, many of us do find it a bit rank. However, you can also get it in F22 or “[World Edition](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/world-edition/)” scent which is far nicer and sits very well with many good colognes. Here - [Archive & Alternative Versions :: Experimental Test Mixes :: Androtics Direct](https://a314.com/) This is my preference and you can also get Ammo in custom scents - Akuto, Neroli etc via the fragrance customisation page but that can cost a bit more. ---
