The amount of sprays differs between people.  
As for application points, similar rules to cologne applies - places lick neck, chest, wrists etc are good - pulse points, warm points (warmth helps send the mones into the air). But really, you can spray anywhere, your belly, hair, face (IS is quite good to spray on your face I found, gives a nice pick me up).
