I was walking to class today and something very strange happened. I was just walking, not paying attention to anything, thinking about what I need to fix on my car next, and then out of no where I instantly perked up my chest, drew my shoulders back, and stood up as tall as I could. There was a blonde who was walking towards me and was 75 - 100 feet away and I couldn’t NOT focus on her. It was so primal and instantaneous that after I was done talking to her, I decided to look up pheromones in class. That led me here. I’m a 22 year old male student who is in Houston and am really curious about how these chemicals work. After looking on [smartmones.com](http://smartmones.com) I think I will try out some Ammunition or [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) (who doesn’t want to feel great?). My question is: what’s the best “starter” scent? And do users think that it’s legitimate or if it’s just snake oil? I’m willing to get a lot of this a shot, but some legitimate affirmation that’s NOT on a website trying to sell the stuff would be wonderful. ---

Hey, and welcome! Sounds like the perfect \*light bulb moment where it was so obvious there was something else going on behind the scenes. Excellent that you were able to notice it… that means good things for when you begin testing mones. AMMO and IS are two great places to start. Also nice to see you’ve done some reading… don’t let it stop there, though. Check out the stickies on each forum, at the very least. Snake Oil? I personally like Neroli quite a bit, Akuto is growing on me, and I’ve never tried the other scents. The nice thing about these products is that the cologne scent strength can be tailored to your liking. I would try Summer Edition AMMO, different scent and already has some TAA in it (main ingredient in Shine) and the Neroli scent of [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/)… Light and pleasant, no musk. Read Read Read! Then ask some questions… It’s a great community, and everyone is eager to help out. ---

Well there’s a reason(s) why [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) vendors exist. And yes, one of those reasons are that they work and people buy them. There’s always a return for your money back option from most vendors so there shouldn’t be a problem trying them out. To qualify for GC, give a little bit more on yourself…what do you expect to get from pheromone use? How did you ever hear of pheromone usage? etc. On your question though, best starter scent I’d say is the default Neroli scent, it can be worn solo in most cases or be applied alongside any of your colognes and work just as effectively. Ammo has a very very very strong scent. Of which makes you stand out among your surrounding males. Let the scent die down about 15 minutes before making actual use of it cause it can be overwhelming before die down. Wearing both IS and Ammo together is a nice and popular combo people use, so see how that goes for you. Also don’t wear too much Ammo at once at your age, you may see ghosting effect where people ignore you because of your overt androstenone sig you put out. ---

Well to be honest, I’m more into the fact that people claim that [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) increase their sense of self confidence. It really intrigues me that it can have an effect on YOUR personality and not just womens’. Obviously the female reaction is going to be awesome (if it works), but I’m much more interested in what it can do for ME. I first heard of pheromones from some movie. Can’t remember what movie it was but there was a sexy science teacher telling the class about pheromones and I thought oh that can’t be real. Turns out that movie-type reactions aren’t legit but hey, if there’s any reaction I’ll be pleased. Also, now that I think of it, I think that my body had a bit of a hormone change when I was about 20. I distinctly remember girls’ responses to me changing around then. It could have been due to the fact that everybody was just growing up, or it could have had something to do with my endocrine system. Not sure. I do think it’d be fun to have that appeal that I used to have and get to play around more. Anyways I’m gonna order some this weekend and see what the results are ---

Welcome jtbwatson, This is a super informal and not so tailored response if you will. I would luuuuuuuv to spend more time assisting you especially since you are a newbie. We are short staffed and these gift certificates are done manually. It takes a great deal and I am back logged. I am hoping that when I catch up on my work, I can start answering these intro threads the way I use to In fact, I am hoping that soon, someone more experienced than me can come in so I get to do what I am great at, customer service. Ok, here goes… ## _DISCLAIMER - These comments are not my own. They have been submitted by other users during their tests and full credit remains with them_ p130 on its own seems to merely give me peace of mind aka super confidence. then again I haven’t had enough p130 to test solo because I happened to notice that when I added p130 to a314 and ammo , it had the impact of turning me into a rockstar. self confidence being sky high and getting jaw dropping hits in broad daylight ( not just in bars , but on trains and on the street in London) so powerful is the p130 steering on my a314 and ammo that I don’t have to read iois because they are overt. it might be that p130 doesn’t do this for most people and I may be an anomaly but in all honesty I have triedtons of mixes and combinations and products from other manufacturers and nothing comes close to p130 combined as mentioned above. some people complain that mones only do 10pc for you and generally agree but not with this mix. ## I own summer ammo and some people suggest it has p130 in it but I don’t see it having this effect when I add the standalone p130 to go on top of ammo and a314 . I can give you field reports of efficacy if you are interested. further testing would require more p130 supply which I would happily pay a premium for. that’s how much I believe in this putative [P130](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/p130/) can be a very fun product just by itself, as can be P74 . 74 has always seemed intrinsically feminine to me, whereas 130 did not. The ability of 74 and IH to produce deep fallout is excellent. However, without at least some - eNone in the picture, relationships will hit an impasse. ## In terms of overall value/being worthwhile, I assign the following star ratings, based upon potency, cost and contribution to combos (layering). Although 130 isn’t sold by itself, P102 and 74 working together could come close, as could equal amounts of IH and IO . In the right situations, P130 can produce lots of conversation–some of it rather superficial–but it did seem to have a spotlight effect, where women especially see you as the center of attention, if they are at all attracted. It didn’t seem quite as hypnotic as IH or 103. ## “I like playing around with high doses of P75 (30mcg or higher)…” I do it often. 5 mcg or so of - eNone helps. 20 mcg or so of P75 with perhaps 10-20 of P102 , IH or 130 can help in clubs. It helps spotlight you and give you command over the room. If you’ve got it right, you should see lots of looks from people checking you out. If you get avoidance from women (or total avoidance from all men), you may have gone OD with None or 75. Women won’t ghost on heavy 75, but they will if you put in too much None (over 10-20). TAC is the only adequate buffer for that much 75 I’ve used. ## P130 = Liquid Xanax I found when I was first trying it out that I was getting drowsy after each application. 1 or 2 sprays to the wrist. Tending to shy away from things that make me sleepy ( I play with electricity for a living), I threw it in the drawer until I came across it the other and decided to give it another shot. After a 12hour shift, far too much caffeine and not enough sleep, I got in the car to go home and put a spray on each wrist. 20 minutes or so later, I felt a nice wave of relaxation come over me. I have repeated this in multiple situations involving high anxiety and stress and have found it to be constant each time. There was another incident. This is when I’m wearing 37.5mcg P130. I was walking through a store and they had these martini glasses on sale, or so the sign said. Two for the price of one. The stock boy was right there and I asked him. He seemed kind of annoyed at such a stupid question, but he politely confirmed that, yes, the ones right there next to the sign were the ones on sale. When I went to check out, I was charged the full price. The cashier called the manager, and no, those weren’t the sale glasses after all! ## I think my emotional reaction, the self effects, are what is interesting, here. I might have been angry or embarrassed or cheerfully, “Oh, well, mistakes happen.” I was pretty unfazed. There was very little emotional reaction. But I knew they were screwed up. When the cashier apologized for the confusion, I just ignored her and walked off. In some ways this reminds me of a P75 type reaction, where other people’s bullshit doesn’t bother me. I don’t give into it, but I don’t get pissed off, either. WTF is in this thing? I’m calm as hell, indifferent, have a sense of well being (not euphoric or over the top like if you were to bomb yourself w/ IS but a more controlled)… ---

Interesting. Might not be for me based on these experiences but I’ll give it a shot of course. I applied ONE spray of instant shine to my neck and rubbed it with my wrists and went to the bank and management office for my house. Bank lady was really shy but full of smiles. The management lady is usually an old crab and evil, but today she was wonderful! She was smiling and friendly and very helpful when I asked her to let me know our account balance. Now I’m sitting here watching tosh.0 and have a sort of tingling sensation all over my body. Instant shine is an instant hit. I love the way I smell. Can’t wait to use it at school tomorrow. ---
