hey there people im George 26 year old cancer survivor from San Antonio Texas and im new to this site. I am a college student and a substitute teacher and also interested in making a big difference in my social life by learning more about [pheromones](https://a314.com/) and how they work. I would like to know what is so effective in these sprays that get peoples attention? I fought cancer in 2008 but by the Grace of the Lord i am still here and still fighting. ---

Hey George, welcome to pherotalk and I hope all is well for you. Pheromones are basically chemical messages sent through the air by animals to signal certain things. Humans do indeed send these type of signals out as well. Lots of people don’t recognize the Human Pheromone business because they believe it’s a bunch of bologna. What I can tell you is that those who believe that are impatient and set their hopes too high. They expect these pheromones to do all the work for them in terms of attraction. Welcome Georgie, There is a lot of information on this website about [pheromone](https://a314.com/) theory in human beings. The truth is mainstream science is only now understanding the roles they play in humans, whilst we have known for years. I would recommend you spend some time reading here as it is a fascinating subject.
