Hello from New York I am a male, 25, I just started using [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) and I have some questions about the Alpha314! How long does a spray or drop typically last? ---

Well Brendan, I can probably answer. Take advantage of the forums, but I can’t disagree with that content. Oil I would say about 8 hours, perhaps more. Spray, closer to 4. 314 B is the spray I would suggest. Oil is more economical in the long run. You would need a full 30 mL spray to come close to oil longevity, and the 30 mL will cost more. _Just tell us a bit about yourself (age, sex and location help a lot) and why you’re here. Yup - around eight hours for the oil and that can be extended to 10-12 if applied over a thin layer of quality hand lotion - Although the penalty for this is a very slight reduction in diffusion range but IME it is virtually imperceptable in everyday use. Around six hours for the sprays but tailing-off quite sharply after four. Applying sprays over lotion does not prolong activity as much - maybe an hour at most. What sort of results are you hoping for from A314 and in what situations - Environment can be an important factor in choosing between sprays and oils. ---

It would predominantly be used in an office setting, I just got my first management job and if the A314 is all its cracked up to be this could be a game changer. And extra love from the ladies couldnt hurt either @+! ---

In that case the oil is ideally suited - day-long activity and a more subtle/steady diffusion that is ideal for long term use and meshes better with your personality and professional situation. Sprays are most useful in high-impact/mature club/dating mixes etc where you need to make maximum impact in minimum time - it can also be useful at work but for specific incidents, not all-day use. Also, A314 converys solid attractive qualities but it is not an attraction phero per-se, you usually need to add something else to bring that aspect to it, or use A314 to underline an attraction mix like [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/). Saying all that, the /b spray is a useful try-out before you get the oil, just remember that it in’t so subtle or as long lasting. 🙂 ---
