Alright, I’m man enough to admit it… I suck at dancing!! However, alot of the girls that I hangout with go to clubs all the time. Can anyone give me some advice? I’d love it…thanks! ---

I suck at dancing too, but you know what? If you have a don’t care personality and just let everyone around you know that you just want to have fun, it doesn’t really matter if you suck or not. If you got the balls to go out there, dance, and have fun, then you are still seen as a cool guy. ---

You know it’s funny… My husband is awful - like all shoulders going up and down with no rhythm - but people LOVE to dance with him. He knows he is not good and just has fun with it. The important thing is to have fun or at least look like you are. No one really cares whether you are the next Dancing with the Stars contestant - have fun and people will know u are and want to have fun with you!😃 ---

Go take some salsa/swing dance lessons - You’d be surprised how much you can impress a girl when you know how to lead her into a cool spin right. Not to mention salsa step patterns function very well with hiphop/pop songs - It helps you figure out HOW to “move with the music” ---

Nice to see one person who got what I was trying to say! 🙂 Taking dance lessons doesn’t mean you can’t be a free spirit and have your own style. All they do is give you a bit more confidence to step out there and feel more comfortable doing it. I would never make fun of the way a guy dances nor would I refuse to dance with a guy, I liked, who couldn’t dance. I enjoy watching a man who knows how to put one foot in front of the other, better still if he can whirl _me_ around while doing it. 😉 Nobody expects you to be Fred Astaire. 🙄 Truth is I’ve known a guy or two who wasn’t that fast on his feet…but who excelled when doing the _horizontal_ mambo! 🆒 There’s more than one way to spin a girl around! A whole slew of dance lessons was part of the formula for charming my current LTR - beginner salsa lessons = great fucking idea for a date and if things go well… you can make it a weekly thing. Breaks the touch barrier without the slightest bit of uncomfortability too. ---

I’ll agree with Wrlprchnx here and say that if I were to start anywhere, I’d start with Salsa/swing (depending on what..temperature you like 😉) lessons. Me personally? I’d start with Salsa, it’s hot, it’s spicy, it’s teasing. And as Wrlprchnx pointed out, it closes the touch barrier without uncomfortable undertones. Bella, there’s one thing I regret from middle school. A classmate came up to me and she asked me if I wanted to take some ballroom dancing lessons with her. Lol, at that age I thought, what the hell? Dancing??? No thank you.. But today, I would most certainly have taken the invite as I’m sure it would have ended up being a lot of fun. As for actually just dancing, everyone else has already said the answer, enjoy yourself. I’ll say it like this, when you dance, if you don’t have a smile on your face, do what puts a smile on your face. Look in the mirror, do you look goofy? That’s okay, smile at yourself and have fun. Sometimes when I’m in a good mood, I’ll do a little jig, catch myself in the mirror and I can’t stop grinning cause I look like such a fool. But why do I care?
