Hi

I just got my first order - IS(hine), IO, IH, IS(exiness).

I really want to start testing, but there’s a problem - I can’t stand the neroli scent! I’ve had fragrances with neroli in the past which I liked, but this is just not my thing, plus I was under the impression that it was a very light scent which it isn’t. I’ve tried covering it with a couple of different perfumes, but I still feel nauseous and headachy.

Can anyone recommend something that might cover it successfully?

Did you wait half an hour or so for it to settle?

I find [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) strong on initial application but it quickly settles to a much more acceptable level.

Saying that, if you hate it that much, many products can be custom fragrances with a range of scents and strengths:

Thanks for the reply

Yes it’s that initial hour when it makes me feel nauseous that’s the problem. Today it didn’t seem so bad though so perhaps I’m getting used to it! No great reactions yet, but I’m a bit worried that I stink so that may be getting in the way. Will have to keep trying.

I totally agree with you! [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) seems to just give me a headache, I can’t stand the smell and I think everyone I walk past will think I smell funky. It helps if you spray from a little further away so the scent spreads thinner over a larger area, but its kind of redundant if you spray the same area multiple times though. Try to avoid getting it on your clothes though because I think the scent lasts for longer on them. Then just try to cover it with your favourite scent. Mine is Just Cavalli by Roberto Cavalli which works well at first but the neroli seems to have a longer lasting scent than my perfume, meaning I have to reapply. If you buy a big bottle of anything it might be worth getting it custom scented. I really like the Vanilla Grapefruit, I didn’t at first though, but it quickly grew on me! But there are other scents to choose from that are listed on the site. Oh, also avoid putting it somewhere you can smell easily, I found that even when I put it on my wrists it was to much for me because apparently I use my hands a lot when I talk, a fact I didn’t realise until using neroli, lol. The back of your neck or hair is a good place, but putting anything with alcohol on your hair on an ongoing basis can dry it out. Some people put it behind their ears, but I’ve never tried that. Anyway, if you discover some miracle neroli disperser / cover up let me know! Good luck! And have fun! 🙂
