Conjugated linoleic acid

Its found in grass fed animals and animal products.

In laymans terms its a healthier fat then what animals that eat grain produce and those health benefits are passed onto us when we eat them.

I haven’t tried CLA (but I will now certainly be looking into it), but my ultimate secret weapon is the Blood Type Diet. The word “diet” is a bit of a misnomer, it’s actually the individualized eating habits and lifestyle that you should be practicing, based on your personal body chemistry, in order for you body to function at its peak efficiency. Actually, what I currently follow is the second wave of that doctor’s research, which is the Genotype Diet. I’ve been following those diets for over 2 years (BTD for a year, and then GTD ever since), and lost roughly 30 lbs. The majority of that was without adding exercise, but strictly following diet protocols. It’s only in the past 9 months that I’ve been exercising regularly. And this isn’t only for weight loss, it’s also for correction of medical issues. A lot of physical problems I used to have are not a part of my life any more.

> To keep energy levels constant, you need to get enough iron. Unfortunately, iron is the most common nutrient deficiency in the US (and in the whole world). This mineral helps transport oxygen to wherever your body needs it by hooking onto red blood cells. Common iron deficiency symptoms? Low energy and fatigue.
> Not only does pork contain iron, it?€™s also a good source of the B-vitamins like thiamine and niacin, which are both involved with your metabolism. Choose lean cuts of pork, like tenderloin and pork chops ?€” higher fat foods can weigh you down and make you sluggish.
> **Other lean proteins:** beef tenderloin, chicken breast and [shrimp](http://blog.healthyeats.com/blog/2009/01/22/light-shrimp-recipes/)

Pork specifically is not a good meat choice. It has been linked to weight gain, even if it is “lean”. The body does not metabolize it well.

The similarity in pig tissue to human tissue is so close that diseases and parasites are easily communicable, especially ones that are not killed by cooking. There are many pathogens that are not tested for by food regulators.

There are PLENTY of other bountiful sources of iron, such as dark leafy greens and red meat.

Natural CLA found in grass-raised livestock is, I suspect, beneficial and without risk.

Drinking lemongrass tea helps to melt fats in a detoxifying manner.
