That’s why people say, “when it’s meant to be, it’ll be easy!”

This girl was not.

I think the main issue was compatibility and seems like she has quite a few things she needs to work out. Don’t put ANY blame on yourself. You did NOTHING wrong! You were a good dude. That’s all.

I think, ultimately, she decided she was physically attracted to you, but not romantically. I get that line from girls ALL the time. “Physically, everything is GREAT, but I just don’t feel romantically attracted to you!” Romantic attraction is created by not being readily available, by not always being there to hang out with her at the drop of a hat, and by making yourself seem desirable to other women.

It’ll work out eventually. Just keep focusing on yourself, and have fun with friends and other girls. It’s funny how serious relationships kind of come out of nowhere. The reason being that you and the girl sort of align with each other, and it feels as if there is little work needed for the relationship to progress.

Again, all theory. If I were an expert, I’d be in a LTR with a dime right now. Still, I think what I have to say is very valid and sound.

nah man.. this was your best post.. i really appreciate you taking the time to read my effing novel lol. It really does mean a lot that there are people in the world who care about what you do (or act like it 😛)

You’re totally right, and it makes sense..I don’t think there was ever a time when I wasn’t available to talk.. or declined a day to hang out.. I guess i wanted it TOO much.. part I felt natural.. part II felt forced.. if that makes sense.. (in the context of the 2 months).

My texting timetable still aligned with hers.. I really thought I did a decent job of not making it seem like I was responding too quickly.. which still puzzles me.. she was never really a frequent texter anyways.. So i tried to just let time pass in between my texts regardless..

So I was thinking.. should i even respond to her last text? Maybe in a couple days say something like “I was thinking the same thing but didn’t really know how to say it.. well.. I wish you all the best in the future” ???

Nah. No point in responding, and you know that, deep down, you’re going to hope she responds to you.

I say cut your losses, appreciate the lesson, move on.
