Hey all! This seems like a superb place for pheromonal advice (sweet mother of Elvis, there’s a lot of posts here!).

I’m 37 y.o. male, Caucasian, 6’0”, fit, healthy, reasonably attractive. I’d say I’m friendly, fairly interesting, witty and sociable, yet for one reason or another I’ve never had “game”. Recent clunky attempts verify this ☹ Time to try and change alla that…

I work in an office environment – which, I should note, I’m perfectly willing to use as a “testing ground” for reaction from whatever products (it’s about 75% female). For the past several years I’ve also done lots of freelance writing in my “spare” time – great for the wallet and creativity, but which means the social life took the hit and social circles dwindled as friends paired off and settled down.

So I suppose I’m looking for something to help facilitate getting attention/attraction, leading into the possibility of relationship (short or long term), particularly from specific “targets”. Or in general, really! That’ll sound pretty vague, no doubt, but any advice is appreciated. I almost always wear cologne, will that help effects or hinder them? What’s the optimum “range”? I’ve noodled around the forums a bit and Ammo, Instant Shine and [Turn Up the Heat](https://a314.com/product/turn-up-the-heat-tuth/) seem to be popular choices, but maybe someone has specific recommendations.

A lot of my “social visibility” tends to occur in bars and restaurants (hmm, I always seem drawn to waitresses), or shopping. Don’t get to clubs much any more due to lack of single companions, but am typically willing to try anything.

Also, after the holidays I’m planning to try “speed dating”, if only to get some interaction practice. Any suggestions on products for that forum (or tales from personal experiences) would be helpful!

Thanks!

'Ello-ello!

Heh, sadly I can’t offer any advice - I’m looking for some of that myself. But in the meantime, we can be noobs together. 🙂

I had a Speed Dating thread but there have been few responses. One thing there is that [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) seem to take about 5 minutes to “work” so to speak so the best products are those that affect you rather than trying to affect others.

I hope to give SD another go, but the next opportunity I know I (may) have won’t be till May 07!

I’m making some assumptions in the following suggestion, but I’ll try to keep those assumptions on the surface where they’re visible. Also, you know that “_Free advice is worth whatever you pay for it_” so to take this advice will cost you in a certain amount of effort, see below.

Most people have heard about pheromones in certain predictable ways; in the current USA culture, someone who’s come here likely has some half-beliefs and myths about pheromones. You may not be most people, but I am still guessing that you need (what hypnotists often call) a **:convincer:** before you really get the value from pheromones.

I’m also assuming that being gainfully employed, having been working in an office for a while, without familial obligations – that you will have a reasonable budget to play with to conduct your pheromonal investigations without financial hardship.

So, as a first step, and as a triple-crown **:convincer:** I suggest

1. **Alpha A314** – one or two drops each day at your collar/chest just before you set out for your work, Monday through Friday. You’re likely going to notice some major changes in behavior that you just are not going to be able to explain away. And you will get used to both men and women responding to a DHV behavioral set (and pheromonal “signature”) on your part.
2. **[Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/)** – go out to a bar or club where there’s a good size crowd. Best if it’s thick enough that people are actually touching/brushing past one another in order to pass by. Spend 45 to 60 minutes having at most one drink (in order not to dull your appreciation / awareness) – you can switch to bottled water or cola – and getting the vibe of the place. Try meeting some people, just saying hello, shake hands, exchange names with at least 5 people. Then, excuse yourself to the men’s room, slip into a stall and spray 2 to 5 sprays of IS on your chest, neck, back of hands and wait a couple of minutes. (You normally won’t use so much, but we’re looking for dramatic effects.) Now go back and do the same exercise, meeting 5 people in the same way. Perhaps you will have to resist the temptation to just sink into a great conversation with the first person you meet “post spray” – but go ahead and force yourself to compare by meeting and greeting all five. You might be a rock star!
3. **Androstenone** – I suppose Turn Up The Heat would be the best choice, but others can guide you better. Get out of town, and go someplace where you can be “bad” – a place you probably won’t be going often in the future. Spray enough Turn Up The Heat, Instant Jerk, or whatever, to create an overdose of -none. Spend some time observing others, just interact with people as normally as you can, and do what you need to stay out of fights. (You might want to have your home in condition presentable enough to entertain a guest, just in case you hit an “on cycle” lady you fancy.)
Once you have those three experiences under your belt, I suggest you can begin to look within, and trust your own ability to gauge how and when to use pheros. Having the above experiences will also give you the basis for calibrating what you read here and make the advice people give, the reports they post more valuable to you.

Also, I realize that these three products together will take a bit of cash upfront, but please remember the Androtics guarantee … read it through. You’re going to use these for a long time; it’s not like you just use them for this first test and then they sit on your shelf.

Of course – we expect to learn something from your experiences, too, so please let us know what you see / hear / learn in the course of your adventures. 🙂

Cheers!

PS: Can others here comment on the approach I outined above? Overall, or fine-tuning?

Heya, Michael, how about a **Starter Pack** to lower the investment risk level to try those three together?

Thanks for the advice, mate! Your assumptions are mostly correct. Budget isn’t really an issue. And I’m more pragmatic than skeptical, but am definitely interested in being convinced. My observation skills are decent, so I’ll assume that any reactions and effects will be strong enough for me to notice. After reading other threads (the “pickup advice” thread was instrumental) I went and grabbed pretty much everything in “To Go” size, plus P79 and TAL. Upon further reading, it seems I should also grab A314…

A couple of other questions:

- If you wear a certain pheromone (or mix) on a regular basis around the same people and then you stop or change it, does this “confuse” people?

- Do some pheromones make guys want to beat the hell out of you? Or is this an instinctive envy reaction to additional attention from females?

- How does cologne affect pheromone use? I know Ammo has its own smell, but what about other stuff?

thanks again!

I have that question, too; my working hypothesis is that changes in pherosignature are very unsettling to some people … who may not even know why. The recorded responses of mothers to sons wearing pheros and my observations of some people interacting with me since I began wearing pheros lead me to this idea.

It is certainly possible, perhaps even likely, that -none will inspire some other guy to challenge you for dominance. It’s a “biggest chimp” kind of thing, and -none is as good an explanation of that dynamic as any other. If you smell like you are “the man”, then some guy may want to prove that he is the alpha male. I’m not sure that fisticuffs are inevitable – we have a panoply of dominance expression options, but perhaps someone has something to report on whether -none makes other guys get more physical than usual.

Cologne should have no impact whatsoever, except to cover the odor of the [pheromone product](https://a314.com/shop/). There is a theoretical possibility that the molecules play off of one another in a way that makes a bad smell, but there’s no way to predict that. You should be fine with any cologne you like.

[Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) is a good one. Get the double strength version; anything less is a waste.
