Hello, I actually came across this forum via google. I had picked up the Dial for Men body wash and was rather curious as to the composition and latent (or not so latent) effects of the andro in the gel. One thing led to another and here I am. I’m 32 and live in LA and am curious to try out some of the combinations on the site. I figure I’ll begin with the A314 (a) spray and the [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/). I’ll see what happens and then take it from there. I’m not entirely a skeptic so I’m looking forward to conducting my own empirical research on this. -The Alaskan ---

Welcome to Pherotalk. 🙂 Dial Magnetic is the only one of the range that contains Pheros and it uses Androstadienone (A1), rather than Androstenone. Although a pretty well understood phero, A1 is not the most sexual on its own - In fact it does come over as decidedly best-friendy without none behind it. However, it is a good comfort and closeness phero that can be used to offset the sexual rawness/aggression of none and it also has a sort of “memory” or “crush” effect, so repeated exposure can encourage women to want to be around you. It can also promote all sorts of IOIs and primping behavviour at surprisingly low doses. No figures for concentration are given but its pretty certain that there ain’t a lot of A1 in Dial and as most of it gets washed-off, the amount remaining trapped in your pores is less still. So its a bit of a curio in the phero world. Apart from being too friendly, A1’s main downside is that it can trigger short-term downers in some men - although I have only ever seen one person reporting symptoms from Dial and it can break down to some rather stinky byproducts. Hey alaskan, and welcome to the forum. I’ve read several poster ask and report on Dial Magnetic. Not to sure of it’s efficacy since it would seem to me that once you do your rinse cycle, it’s mones are going down the drain. I do like A314 and the alcohol sprays are hard hitting for the pump up your chest, take no sh!t from anyone type of feeling, when I wear it. There is a bit of the scare factor there, if those around you are unsure of themselves. I think the IShine is a great stand alone product and can reign in the Solid Clint Easwood vibe of A314 to give it a friendlier vibe. A smiling Clint Eastwood. Wow - I’m impressed with the quality of the responses I received here. I guess to further explain - I bought the Dial body wash because it was on sale - there was no direct desire to experiment with [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/). After a few days of using it I decided to hop online to see what the hell having that as an active ingredient meant and I ended up here on the forums. FWIW - it get’s you clean and smells good - I’ve not noticed any ‘extra’ effects of the body wash. To respond to 1Alpha - I’m trying this more out of curiosity at this point. I’m confident in my career and my associated skills but I recently started at a new company (very corporate). I’m still getting used to the place and while I’ve been making a great impression (I know what I’m talking about & I have the experience to back it up) I chose to try the A314 and IS (placed the order last night) because I think I would be able to judge the effects in the more controlled environment of the office. Having to judge your own personality can be a difficult thing but since you asked… I pride myself in self-control. I manage by example and find that more often than not people are receptive to doing what I ask not because I’m senior to them but because I’m a nice guy. I got fast-tracked on the supervisory level when I was in my early 20’s and have quite a bit of experience leading teams & people. I also taught for two years which really helped any lingering self-confidence issues leftover from the teenage years. Thats another big reason I’m looking forward to trying out those two compounds in particular - I think it will dovetail nicely with my existing personality/skill set/role in life. Lastly - I’m abut to begin dating again - I had a LTR with a great woman who didn’t want to go farther with our relationship. She was about 6 years younger and had other plans for life. It’s been about a year and I’m ready to get back in the game. So, if I get some positive hits off of the 314/IS I’ll go ahead and use the 25$ certificate I received today (Thanks Mickaelia!) to try out the Ammo or TUTH. But, as in all things, one small step at a time. I’ll keep you posted with how this all works out over the next few weeks. -A Oh yeah - there are some great tutorials on here for newcomers as myself that I intend on following to try to measure out the proper amount and resulting effect - you guys have put a lot of work into this community and it shows. Thanks for more info about yourself and I definitely think with what you said about your career and how you described yourself A314 is for you and you definitely want to use a bit of shine with it to soften the tone.
