Hey! My name is Bo. I am 31. Just got out of a long term relationship. Due to work-- it turned into a long distance relationship at times. Recently started dating again. I know that I have a good personality, have a good job, and confident about talking about a variety of subjects. Its been a while since I’ve had to approach women. I generally suffer from approach anxiety. I also suffer from being “too nice.” My “too nice” status generally leads to me to not push through “last minute resistance.” Not looking for a miracle, just an edge. Thanks for your response! Well, I have always been a bit shy. But my approach anxiety stems from being rejected publicly when I was much younger. It was a really embarrassing experience! It’s not so much that I lack fundamental social skills, I oftentimes can be the life of the party and the conversation-- I just have difficulty in the initial approach and/or switching the mood from casual or friendly-- to sexual. I generally don’t like making decisions unless I’m certain-- to avoid reliving that experience. Since I’ve been dating different women–dating itself has become easier. So, I’m looking for reactions in 26+ year old women to help me in making moves to escalate the interactions. I have no doubt that the experience gained will help my confidence.
