Hi, my names Will, I’m 20 years old and from England. I first heard about [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) when I read an article about them in a magazine about a year ago. I thought they sounded interesting but I never really gave them a second thought. Fast forward a year and here I am now with a few situations to deal with. In a few weeks I’m meeting me girlfriends parents for the first time 😮 anyway from what i know of them they’re hard to please and very judgemental of people (especially boyfriends). First impressions are everything and i don’t want this turning out like the film “Meet the Parents” I’ve been thinking about it for a while then i remembered about pheromones, done some googling and found this site which is by far the best i’ve come across. I figure pheromones may help me out here but seeing as I have no experience using them i’ve no idea what to buy or how to use them so i thought i’d ask here 🙂 I’m also starting university in September so if there is anything which could help me socialise a bit better that would be great. Hey will and welcome to the forum! Meeting the parents? I have two suggestions - [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/) and Instant Shine IG will give you an older signature (in a mature and respectable sense) and Instant Shine is typically a very effective mood elevator - they will enjoy being around you because of IS and therefore associate you with that enjoyable feeling. If you wanted to add one more, get AMMO and combine it with IS for University… that combo rocks. Good luck with the girls 'rents bud! ---

Do you have any expectations of what you want pheros to do for you? If you’re wanting to wear pheros to meet her parents, you might want to stay away from the more sexual ones. That would definitely set them on edge, as most parents are very protective of their daughters. Hello and welcome to the forum. It’s awesome to know that you respect your girlfriend so much that you are trying to do something to not only appease her, but make a lasting good impression on her parents. Nice 🙂. Now there are a couple of things to think about here before I suggest something. On one hand you have your GF and how you interact with her. Considering this you have to decide what relationship is more important the one with her or her parents. Many men and women go out with someone their parents don’t approve with just so they can be rebellious. Is this what she is doing? Does she do other things that are rebellious and if so then she might want you to be rebellious too. On that same note though those types of relationships also don’t last very long either. This is only something you will be able to answer if you take a internal look at your relationship. Personally while IG might be ideal in appeasing her unappeased parental units, you might try and find a happy medium. Maybe some Ishine and IH so that you are building a happy guy persona, but add some [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) or TUTH in there so you also come across as the sexy guy their daughter loves. It’s really a tough situation to be in, but what mother wouldn’t love the guy that their daughter loves if he is turning her on too. And even though most of us wouldn’t admit it a father wants a guy that is going to take care of ALL his daughters needs. Come across to gentlemanly like and it could have an adverse effect. Hey thanks for the replies guys, well I’ve looked at all the products mentioned and I am thinking that using Instant Shine and Instant Honesty. I was also thinking of using some Instant openness because she says her Dad can be hard to talk to. On the other hand though, her Mum is very talkative and using IO might make her go in overdrive, I’m unsure about that really would it cause a clash? Well I definetly think that she is more important. She is not the rebellious type at all, in fact she should rebel a bit more in my opinion as her parents rule her too much and take too much appeasing, she is more nervous than me. It’s really important i get this right as they will make it hell for her if they don’t like me. Yeah they really are that bad lol ---

Hey, Will, welcome aboard! I have a slightly different suggestion. Instead of [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/), I suggest A314. This has an effect not dissimilar. It improves confidence and boosts our apparent age and maturity, but it also increases your percieved social status. Meeting them, the first impression would be more along the lines of an equal than a kid with 2-3 drops of A314. Get to know how that dose affects you, first, so you don’t over-=do it and become cocky. I have had that happen to bme when I wear 4+ drops, but it does not always happen for everyone. Then again, I just remembered, the store is out of A314 for the time being. I also would add in some Instant Shine… probably 2-3 sprays. Instant Shine makes you feel good, makes them feel good, makes them want to be around you, and sometimes boosts confidence too. You could use it all by itself. Instant Shine mixed with Instant Openness is wonderful for producing a social, feel good atmosphere. Instant Honesty can be useful if you understand it well enough. If ou are not familiar with how it affects you at whatever dose you’re wearing, you might end up saying something you wish you hadn’t. And ven if you don’t, you might end up hearing something you might wish you hadn’t. If you try to use IH, be sure to get to know it first. I think SteveO is right… the parents aren’t the most important factor, and if they’re hypercritical, well, pheromones can definitely help, but they probably aren’t going to fix everything. I’d go for the Instant Gentleman as a base, and mix it with some Instant Shine and maybe an equal dose of Instant Openness and Instant Honesty. Good luck, whatever you do! And you might want to try some of this on your GF to see how _she_ likes it, whatever it is you plan to wear around the parents, first… ---

I’ve decided to go ahead and order some [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/), seeing as it’s my first time using pheromones I will test that out and see how people react, if it all goes well then I will start experimental with different ones and mixing them. Thanks for all the replies though they have been very useful in helping me decide. I’ve just started my journey in the use of pheromones, hopefully it will be a good one.
