I’m Lucy (31) from Kent in the UK. Not only am I new here, I’m also new to this business of posting on forums, so if something goes awry I apologise! I stumbled across Androtics completely by accident and seem to have uncovered an enormous community of people using [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) to their advantage on a daily basis! (Bunch of cheats 😉) I have a real passion for perfume - I love to smell beautiful, try out new products, occasionally making my own, and I get a great buzz out of being stopped in the street by people asking ‘What is that amazing smell??’ Well I had been trying to ignore the hype about ‘Molecule 01’ - you’ve probably heard of this perfume that has a part-pheromone in it or something, and is supposed to smell differently on everyone, but you can’t smell it on yourself. Well I didn’t like the idea of not being able to smell how great I smelled so I ignored the hype. Until…One of my friends changed perfume, and he smelled GREAT. I couldn’t stop breathing him in - but it got embarassing, so I asked him what it was. Molecule 01. Damn it! Now I’d heard Molecule 01 smelled slightly woody/ozonic depending on who wore it. But my buddy smelt like newly laundered linen, cupcakes straight from the oven and wet woods…and something else I don’t have a name for. Really amazing smell. I could have eaten him :o So instead of doing that I did a little more research on Molecule 01, and it turns out that I may have been influenced by this pseudo pheromone. Initially this annoyed me a little bit as I’d always been a bit of a dismisser of pheromones as something for the desperados…(perhaps you’ll remember that episode of Bottom where Rik Mayall ended up with several dogs doing his leg at once) but my buddy is pretty hot in his own right and not in need of any help in that regard. It made me think about pheromones a little differently. For a start, I now know they work - before I’d been very sceptical. But what if there were different pheromones to produce different effects? What if I could mix them with the most amazing perfumes in the world…to create a smell that transcends the small step to becoming something like smelling an emotion? What if you could create the world’s most sexy smell? Or the world’s most comforting smell? Or the most enchanting? That search led me here. I’ve searched out all the most highly regarded creators of pheromones, read about what they do, and the consensus seems to be that here is the top place to start, with reliably effective pheromones. Am I cheating? Hell yes 🙂 And why not? So to my delight, Androtics have created a wide variety of pheromones, and my intention is to slowly but surely try out every last one, and become a perfume potioneer! I will of course report back with my results. Until then, it’s nice to have met you, and I look forward to keeping up with your posts both for insiration and of course downright funny and enlightening stories. Lucy xx ---

Hi Lucy - Good to see another from the UK here. I used to work occasionally down Kent/Medway area a few years back and enjoyed some pretty good times. 🙂 And yes, in time it does become very clear that phero use can work to your advantage in a whole lot of ways but you do also need to develop appropriate behaviours apace, so it does all even out to an extent. 😉 I don’t know anything about “Molecule 01” but I see it does crop up in a search here so I’m off to read a bit more. The range of pheros here is excellent and I’m pretty certain you will find the products/mixes that will suit you nicely. You can mix them, layer them and overlay with other scents as you deem appropriate. There is much more about all that inside if you search. Hope to be reading your reports soon. 🙂 ---

Hey thanks Mobocaster, that’s great info 🙂 …so does this mean I was reacting to an intensification of my buddy’s own pheromones? Geez, that would be embarassing, I’m a married gal! It’s nice to meet someone else that’s spent some time down this way, I can’t think why on earth you would ever have left Medway to live in the most beautiful breathtaking part of the UK…😉 I guess if you’ve ever spent a night out in Chatham it makes you appreciate it all the more! As for developing a sense of appropriate behaviours… well I wouldn’t want to give myself a complete personality overhaul, but I’ll try! ---

Hi Lucy! Welcome to our little mone forum! 😛 Thank you for such a detailed and thoughtful introduction post. It’s a real treat to read up on you and your scent obsessions! 😃 Mones will compliment your scents beautifully. Just keep in mind that most of the products come default in [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) scent. As you will eventually try them all, I’d suggest you start out with IS and IH. I personally started my mone saga with IS and have a journal on it on my sig below, amazing in a bottle. The self effects have come down to a slight smile, but the effects on others that don’t know me is still, well, amazing! They are happy to be around me and willing to help out, in many cases! IH will be a most obvious mone for opening people up on an intimate level. But, whatever you choose, we are here as a support for your trials! And, of course, you’re knowledge of scents and carrier scents will be appreciated! 🙂 ---

Hi there Lucy and welcome to the forum. Mickaelia is usually the one to greet our newest members into our community but its her birthday so here I am. Luck me because one I am a sucker for redheads and two, you are very pretty. Seriously 😉 I really do believe an intelligent thinker like yourself will get along right well here on the boards. We do have a lot of scientific types here and hobbyists alike. Wherever you might fit in, I’m sure you’ll be super-comfortable. Keep in mind that pheromones are simply a tool and in the right hand (just like a paintbrush) someone like Michelangelo can paint the Sistine Chapel, in others hands, well they would be lucky to paint the side of a barn. If you can capitalize on the advantages of mones then you can create your own masterpiece. All pheromones have a scent to them and most of those scents reflect musky sweat or sometimes pee. Yeah I wrote pee!🙂. We do our best to cover those scents with Neroli for a couple of reasons. One Neroli is a sweet orange flower EO that is found as a base note or middle note of most of the parfum on the commercial market. It’s therefore easily covered with other scents from your favorite parfum. On another note Neroli has fabulous diffusive properties that help lift those molecules into the air. Without some type of diffusion pheromones stick heavily to the skin and effect no one. We attempted to make it so it doesn’t have a rank stench and at the same time something easily covered by other parfum.
