**About me:** Hello, I’m Adam from Ontario, Canada. I’ve recently turned 18 and looking to get an edge. I’ve been reading a lot of threads about pheromones and their use cases. I’m a friendly guy, I never get angry at people and if someone gets angry at me I’m usually passive(sometimes I lack confidence). I love being around people. I’m generally a happy person. I’m also a little social awkward and submissive but I’ve been improving in that department and I think it wouldn’t hurt if some pheromones could help. I’m gay and recently came out of the closet to my close friends. I’ve been sexually and emotionally attracted to my best friend (a guy). I’m looking to see if he will be attracted to me more with these pheromones. **My 4 scenarios (updated version below):** S1. All the time around random people: IO + IS S2. When hanging out with friends (excluding my crush): IO + A314 + IS S3. Hanging out with my crush / at party: IO + A314 + IS + TUTH S4. When at work (during meetings with clients): IO + A314 + IS **So here are my questions:** 1. What combinations would you recommend for these scenarios? 2. Should I use Summer Ammo? If so should that replace A314? Should it be used at the same time as A314. It seems like it has similar affects as the A314 3. Should I use IS all the time? 4. TUTH will work with a man trying to attract another man, right? EDIT: 5. Is there something I should add that will make him more open and more likely to be unable to make a move on me? EDIT: 6. I usually use Old Spice deodorant and have never used cologne before. So once I start wearing pheromones should I switch to unscented deodorant and also not look into other colognes (regular ones without pheromones), right? EDIT: 7. Welcome to Pherotalk. 🙂 Here is my take: 1 - Scrap S2-S4. Using IO alongside A314 is not a good idea. If you re-read the store page, you will see that IO is **clearly** advised as the product you use to tone down the A314 vibe. To the point of wrecking it completely IMO. 2 - Ammo and [Summer Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) are totally different products from A314 - They do not replace each other. 3 - IS is about the most versatile and all round product AD sells, so yes you can use it a lot and alongside many products. However it is shorter acting than many other pheros, so you can get stuck in a regular topup cycle. 4 - Yes, TUTH can work on gay guys too, however it is still a very direct and sexually overt message that can tip-over into unpleasant/aggressive to some. You may find it better to moderate it with other products. There is good discussion on mixes on various threads in Mens. Too much TUTH (or none in general) around straight guys can easily trigger aggressive/competitive behaviour, esp around younger guys. 5 - See above. However no phero will make someone do what they are not already at least some way inclined to. 6 - You can use cover scents alongside pheros. Deodorants are not very good though as they mask your natural sig somewhat. Maybe look to moving to something like a crystal deodorant and a good cologne instead. The only rule here is to avoid spraying anything over oil-based pheros (or vice versa) but layering alcohol-base is fine. Just give it a minute or two in between each layer to dry. 7 - Yes, garbage, as are many of the other grossly oversold and “fantastic” claimed products. You will soon find the good competition in discussion here. 🙂 And yes, the Newbie Kit is great value and you may also be very interested in trying the MX297 they are currently substituting for IJ. That one alongside TUTH has brought me a lot of attention from gay guys in the past. ---

I’ve read over some product descriptions and heres my updated list: S1. All the time around random people: IO + IS(maybe replace with Ammo Summer) S2. When hanging out with friends (excluding my crush): IO + Ammo Summer + IS S3. Hanging out with my crush / at party: IO + Ammo Summer + IS + TUTH(small amount) + P83 S4. When at work (during meetings with clients): A314 + IS + IG(I work around people older than me) Maybe instead of Ammo Summer I should use [MX297](https://a314.com/product/mx297/)? or both? I guess I will have to experiment(maybe adding IH sometimes since its included in the kit). [Summer Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) is not however a straight replacement for IO but it is in itself a good daytime product that can be worn in a wide range of situations. IO is based on a 70/30 mix of alpha and betanol, whilst Ammo is equal parts of none, rone and nol, with the addition of P130 and TAA (main component of IS) in the summer version. S2 - yes, good social/sexy mix on a younger guy and could be easily transitioned to a more sexual signature by adding more none (eg TUTH) if needed. Useful for going from polite social to more raunchy environments like clubs. S3 - Good mix. Many of us here have used similar. S4 - Don’t do A314/IG together. For starters, it is an awful lot of rone and the A314 steering will obliterate the light/social feel of the IG. You could appear like somebody’s dad, with a hardon! However, A314 and IS is a top professional mix all its own. MX297 - Again, its not a replacement for Ammo. In fact its a mix with no none. However it is superbly social and engaging as a standalone but it can benefit from adding-in none. Personally I found TUTH or plain Androstenone best - I have this idea that the Androsterone in Ammo, IG and A314 detracts from it to differing degrees. Colognes - Yes, its a good idea to have a selection you can use at different times. At least one for work, one for daytime/light social wear and a stronger one for nightwear. Although like pheros themselves, your cologne collection can grow like Topsy! Best way to get started is to try each one individually, till you get an idea of dose for each, then start combining. IS, Ammo and IO are probably the easiest to get to grips with. A314 the hardest as you often need to do some catching-up yourself. IH (mainly betanol) is very usable alongside A314 and deepens the trust aspect considerably. I also prefer IH/IS as a quality over quantity alternative to IO. You will need to do the basics to find the best proportions for you as although gay/bi guys are attracted to similar pheromones as straight women - and socials, just like everybody, the proportions are often different. Some reading through the more specialised threads in mens will be very worthwile. ---

Hi Adam, Welcome to PheroTalk 😃 I’m Sid from Singapore, I’m not sure whether this is helpful but here’s my experience on a night club in Singapore, I replenish my mones 3 - 4 hours later after the initial sprays with TUTH and AMMO on the chest, A314 on fore-neck and [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) on back-neck. After I get on the dance floor, I was stuck in a Lesbian foreplay.. By the way, I’m straight and was in a Normal Dance Club (No offense to you) I’m as a user, gotten dumbfounded by the reaction.. But reading the forums (correct my if I’m wrong) people who are surrounded by the user will get pulled in by the mones and somehow reacts to it either in a good way or a bad one.. Whatever the situation is, if not for partying, follow what MBC says, not to put together TUTH, AMMO and A314 outside of party mode for example workplace.. Back in my college, my lecturer keeps disturbing me by telling me that it’s not ladies night, get over it.. Well then, hope you get your Eve one day, wishing you all the best. Have fun, YOLO!! ---

Welcome Manguy, I am super glad that mobo was around bcuz I can’t give you that kind of info since I am not a dude. Continue testing out these products and you might want to consider opening up a journal to keep track of your findings will make it easier to figure out what went wrong and the men will continue to guide you **Your gc was issued!**
