hi, my name is Mona and i live in AZ with 5 cats. 4 of them are littermates, 1 brother and 3 sisters. i have had them since they were 8 weeks old and they will be 6 yrs old in June. the fifth one is a Siamese kitten adopted 8 months ago.

i have an ALPHA FEMALE that doesnt seem to like any of her siblings anymore. she wants to mark all her territory and its driving me crazy. actually considering the ultimate ‘negative choice’ if i can’t find solutions anywhere else. she has no health issues. i am hoping this [pheromone](https://a314.com/) website and products can help us all out.☹

Hello Mona and cats and welcome to the forum.

I am not sure how the pheros will help with the cats but they can make your life a lot more fun.

Is there anything you want to do with the pheros for yourself anywhere in the social realm?

Looking forward to your response.

Hey Mona,

Are you saying that you want to put human [pheromones](https://a314.com/) on your baby kitten to cure her feline beta status?

Also, while you are here, what is your relationship status. Are you happy with where it is at, and would you consider pheromones for the enhancement of your own life?

If so I think a few of the ladies here, (and maybe myself based on some research), might be able to steer you in the right direction for switching your objectives from cat to catty and having the boys come chasing. 🙂

Hi Mona - Welcome to Pherotalk.

Certain of the pheros sold and discussed here do get reactions from animals, including cats but not always positive ones.

However, although not an AD phero, there is a product that may help:

[FELIWAY for Cats - Official Site](http://www.feliway.com/gb)

I’ve known several people use it and report great success when training/encouraging cats who are aggressive, competitive, overly territorial, scenting and antisocial. Recently, I tried it on my two cats and whilst it did little for the already very friendly/sociable tabby, the response of my very nervous and sometimes antisocial black and white cat has been remarkable. She has become much more relaxed, comfortable around people and sociable.

Both were rescue cats, terrified of everything and starved to skin and bone when I got them some years back.

One spray per day in one or more of her favourite spots seems to do the trick for her - I’ve been using a spot by a fire to maximise diffusion and so far, there is no hint of any bad smelling phero-breakdown products. Whenever she is in that room, she is an absolute delight. I’ve been spraying on a rug that can be washed if needed, whilst others have sprayed bedding or a favourite toy.

This stuff is jawdroppingly expensive in pet shops but I have found far better prices online, Amazon in particular and you can get a 15ml “Travel Size” in the $10-12 range, which would be fine for starting out.

Hope this helps. 🙂
