Hi guys and girls.

New to the board and new to the idea of [pheromones](https://a314.com/).

Does this stuff really have an effect?

I’ve always thought of pheromones as being complete bull.

Lately i have been doing some extensive reading on androgen hormones and started to think there might actually be something to pheromones.

I can’t believe there is a forum about them, and with so many posts also.

Surely the stuff can’t be all made up with so many people participating.

So nice to meet you all.

My name is Stefan.

p.s. if pheromoes really work,I’m surprised there aren’t more people using them.

I have found them to work great in not only getting more “attention” from women, but also a quick dose of confidence for yourself.

I have only used Pheroforce and Liquid Trust:

[Pheroforce | Pheromone Cologne | Highest Concentration](http://www.pheroforce.com)

Have you used any specific brand yet? Which ones?

Yes they have an effect.

Greetings Stefan,

Welcome to Pherotalk! You may want to post a similar thread here(if you haven’t already):

[Introductions](http://www.pheromonetalk.com/introductions-new-users-say-hello-today/)

If you post there and tell us a little more about yourself, you may qualify for a $25 GC. Like Unique said, they certainly do work, but there are things you must realize before making any assumptions about what they can do. Remember, the search function is your best friend here! Good luck with your future experiments!

For a long time I thought pheromones played a big part in sexual selection because of what I read about how important pheromones are in lifeforms other than humans. There’s been a lot of research on pheromones, especially on mammals and insects, but I believe the research on it for humans is still in its infancy. I think we are living in exciting times in the world of pheromones, and I am grateful that there are pheromone companies giving people the opportunity to test out all sorts of new molecules and contributing to this field. But the scientific community is still debating whether humans even have vomeronasal organs to detect pheromones, but to my mind that says a lot more about orthodox science than about pheromones.

We can’t know which perfumes and colognes have pheromones since they can be considered trade secret and only listed as “fragrance”, but there are perfumes and colognes advertised as containing pheromones. I can imagine in the near future pheromones will become much much more common.

Charles Darwin’s book Descent of Man talks a lot about odor, I’m not pasting it because I think it is scientific proof of pheromones working, just that it is not something that suddenly popped up as an internet scam.
