If you already know , what you want and here only for deal , then :

1. whether you were allotted any GC previously. If yes then, you are no longer eligible. If No then you are well eligible for same.

2. Even though , you need to describe more about yourself . its like knowing more about yourself.

Soni is right, this section is intended to get to know the new users a bit. There is more to it than an ATM to dispense gift certificates.

In many forums, newbies are sadly treated like dirt and the only answer they get from experienced users is “Search the damn forum!” or something to that effect.

Here, the mentality is much different, you won’t find a friendlier place around. If you have used products before, it would be nice to know which ones you’ve had good results with and in which contexts. If there are some products you are curious about, it’s the right place to ask too. You might also consider sharing your results in a journal eventually.
